Man, I'm so ready for this!! This took me back to when we first got the giant trailer and that was huge, but getting botd intro was 10x that. I have a feeling that Classified will be huge with the new story for Ultimus and I guess that may link between Moon and Tranzit.
Man I think the possibilities are endless now. They got a new story, primis is coming back, ultimus and victis. They will go in depth with all these stories and I guess it will continue for years, im so hyped man!!

I actually think the familiar enemy is dr. Monty because in shadows of evil the zombies eyes were yellow. In revelations, the shadowman's tells our characters that Monty is the devil. In mob of the dead we all thought that the devil was controlling the zombies and that devil is Monty. The zombies eyes is important because I. Gorod and revelations the zombies eyes change to red and Monty is present. So I think in blood of the dead, Monty knows what's going on and he is present so he has trapped the primis crew in purgatory because he is trying to mess everything up. Monty is the one who controls the red eye zombies. He is the devil. Anyone agree with my theory?

I'd personally welcome that mode, as optional of course. 8 People would probably cause immense lag unless you've got 8 friends who live near each other.

When I saw Misty in the mirror reflection I knew it was the Tranzit crew frozen in the pods. We're getting them out during the EE quest and helping Richtofen
SavageRicktator I feel like we're going to do the Victis crew route and play on maps with them in it the next time. So it's weird to me because classified said the original crew are going to the Pentagon from time travel. I guess there's the untold stories that take place after Moon, the cycle of Primis, and the whereabouts of the Victis crew. Really don't know how they're going to pull that off with so much happening.

Maybe the Richthofen we are playing as has to sacrifice himself to break the cycle and pay his debt for disobeying the kronorium. Possibly why he shrugged his shoulders thinking at least not me...
Hayden Leverett We know the Richtofen holding the Kronorium is post revelations. Something has gone wrong in the time travel after Zetsubou. So were now changing the history of the timeline and the continuous cycle. Victis is properly the key to breaking it and finishing the quest for Primis

I want to know what Brutus meant about being reborn, are they going into purgatory due to disobeying the cronorium.
StarFlunkey7594 You just answered your question lol. He’ll constantly be reborn and respawn. It’s a never ending loop. Just like how he would always respawn a few rounds in BO2’s MOTD.
He said that because in mob of the dead he comes back to fight you every few rounds. You end up killing him and he is reborn eventually again.
He's probably trying to find ways to get him out of the cycle

Jason always said he wanted to use the full alcatraz island but wasn't able to due to last gen capabilities and timing (dlc 3 and 4 dates) . I think the whole island will be playable this time.

Anyone notice that when they're fighting off the zombies their movements mimic the origins intro AND the motd intro? They kill the zombies like they did in origins but they all appear to get surrounded like in the motd cutscene, richthofen at one point looks panicked and runs through a doorway just like Sal did, Takeo closes the door exactly like Sal did - not sure if it actually means anything, but it could mean that Primis is stronger mentally and physically than the motd characters were and they may be able to break the cycle and continue on their new path
They have had more experience fighting since they are soldiers and have been killing zombies for awhile across the fractures. Also they aren't in a small cycle like the old Mob characters and they remember what they learned in a past experience going to a new location and don't get as bad of a case of amnesia like the Mob crew.
Roynik well I know that they are obviously more seasoned in killing, but don't forget that the motd characters were in jail in the first place because they were mobsters, they were also seasoned in killing people but I'm not reading that far into it for logic, I just think it was a nice homage to primis' roots

Well if they went back to Gorod Krovi then they possibly used the summoning key to open up a portal as a last resort to survive. That's just my prediction of escaping Alcatraz.
I don't think they're going to repeat the process again. I feel like once they entered Alcatraz, something got altered and the events started to change. So maybe instead of escaping Alcatraz to Gorod Krovi something else happens. Who knows?
it post rev richtofen that leaves. This takes place after rev, but before zetsabou. in other words. Post-rev Richtofens plan worked, he saved his crew using the blood, he has changed history. Meaning the ether story line is being continued, and its not just events from the past that are coming to a close. If this version of primis escapes, they will never meet up with Monty
It's almost like they all died in that cutscene before leaving the power generator room.
Takeo gets overwhelmed,
Nikolai gets bitten off camera (or that was a war cry) then gets overrun
Dempsey shoots himself right before getting killed (that final shot is off camera and next to his head)
It seems highly unlikely don't get me wrong, but it really does look like that.
It's all very reminiscent of the MOTD intro with the mobsters dying. The camerawork and scenes almost exactly reflect that.

What I want to know is why the other Richthofen didn’t care about the chronorium pages changing
Noobplays Maybe because he's not following what the Kronorium says. Perhaps he's trying to reverse the loop in order to break the cycle. Unfortunately by doing that bad events start to happen.
what do you mean? Did you watch the trailer? he clearly cared, just not at the same level as the other one
before that he has "115 delusions" and then once the other richtofen asks him about it being like "you okay bro? Your acting a bit weird" he just says "you need to read this" and tries leaving as fast as possible.
My guess is this is after revelations and possibly before, the one we see leave is likely post rev richtofen

So the way I see it the cycle may be keeping Richtofen and the others alive, but it's not the ending any of them want. Richtofen restarts the cycle each time so he can find a way to break it and get a better ending for everyone. Perhaps this post Revelations Richtofen in the lab is doing all this so they can break the cycle, something to that effect. Also ever notice how Primis in the Revelations ending are in a different location from the one in the Origins scrap picture? Perhaps Blood Of The Dead will allow us to get the better ending seen in the Origins scraps. Honestly not sure if this is a good idea or if I'm talking shit, either way I'm fairly certain on the fact that BOTD will change Revelations and the cycle as a whole, what better map to end a cycle than the one where the Easter Egg was all about the Weasle breaking his cycle?

My thoughts is that what's happening in Blood of the Dead is this version of Primis now have to go against fate, we know what usually happens is they go to Gorod then finally Revelations but but now they aren't doing that, I believe that's also why Richtophen was surprised, going against an obvious path for going a path that changes everything, so if treyarch picks up on this story after the chaos story line, it means events unfolding that we yet know about which sounds amazing. (Hope I don't sound stupid, this is just my take on it, great video btw)

Hell i dont think even Jason Blundell knows what the hell is going on, the story is so god damn complicated, but its so awesome. Definitely the greatest story on any game ive ever played.

I think what is happening is because of the MOTD Easter egg, when weasel wins the battle it says the cycle is broken so that may have caused what is happening in BOTD

The Richtofen that gives the Primis the blood vials says something that really intriuges me. It sounds a lot like after he hands Richtofen the vials he says, "A vessel for Maxis, the opening of the gateways." Which I'm pretty sure is from Origins, which makes me feel like it was Pre-Origins Richtofen.

To let everyone know, don't you find it weird when zombies come out after the change in events in this intro. The zombies didn't show up in Alcatraz in the comics. I think Monty released the hoard when he saw the change of events in the cycle.

The version of richtofen (I’ll call him r for short) is definitely post revelations. He came back and killed his younger self, and now acts as him. Since he is out of the cycle nothing truly affects him. If you listen closely when Nikolai looks at misty, r says what he said at the beginning of the giant, about the radios and stuff like that. This was a clue that he killed the younger version, and is now having 115 hallucinations. Because the younger version would go to soe, this is before giant, so he would experience the same hallucinations. From here I’m guessing he has a plan to get himself out of the cycle, permanently, and not letting primis continue. If this group fails they can never go on to defend against the apothecans. Thus ending the cycle. Or at least that’s what I think is going on here, feel free to send any more theories, because this has really got me confused. Also, ignore any typos, I’m sure there’s a couple of them in there.
Ah one more thing, I think Monty is going to figure out that they are trying to stop the cycle, not in this map but another, and will probably do something about it

If the thing about the shadow man being in Alcatraz is correct it makes sense that Brutus speaks saying "I will be reborn" maybe that was the shadow man speaking through the zombie breaking the portal on purpose

Not only did younger richtofen not have the blood vials on him but he also speaks of maxis and the opening the gate way. and that's when older richtofen tells him if he's getting confused.

Do you think the plane will still be an aspect? What about afterlife? Never truly understood how afterlife worked in cannon never truly explained. And the Easter egg, will it be involving the revival of the Tranzit crew? Finally the spawn room, will we be starting on the docks? Remember the map is 33% bigger than the original.

I just can’t believe that the tranzit characters are alive still I always kept talking to my dad about the storyline and i showed him the trailer and he was like damn
"Encountering a familiar ememy Hell-bent on imprisoning them for all eternity" is more likely refering to Brutus considering that's what he did in the cutscene when he destroyed their only way out.
Not only had Primis not yet encountered The Shadow Man - it would be a far stretch to say Richtofen had since he teleported into The Shadows of Evil at the last second of the EE to grab the Summoning Key - The Shadow man is currently locked within said Summoning Key.
With all this in mind, I'm not sure how you could come to the conclusion that the familiar enemy is The Shadow Man.
I theorize that the map starts in the classic starting room. Primis see Weasel's plans on the wall and decide to follow his plan to escape the island like the original thus fighting Brutus, using afterlife mode, getting the parts and building the plane, going to pack a punch on the bridge, then executing themselves returning to the island. If this is how Treyarch designs the map, it will allow the map to have the classic gameplay and easter egg loop, while also expanding the map content with the Primis characters while having Victus involved in some way for the new easter egg.
