Just shows how much he has changed. Originally, he could care less about them. He didn't care if they died. But as they went on he felt bad for what he had to put them through, but he had no choice. The original Richtofen was just a maniac who didn't care for anything besides ultimate power.

Zombies are aliens, they are envoys of the ancient evil aka "The Apothicons" created from 115 that the Apothicons send out through the universe.

Man I really hope they end the story, break the cycle, whatever, in BO3. If it takes a DLC 5, then Treyarch should do it. I don't think the community should have to wait till the next game: we were promised a climax, a conclusion.
2018 when 3arcs next game is due will be the 10th anniversary of zombies. I doubt the 4 main characters wont be involved.
Climax: Shadowman reappears and the Characters have to overcome their biggest battle yet
Conclusion: the characters overcome the shadow man and are sent to Primis in all their glory...
It's technically all there, just not really what we expected or (in your case) wanted
This is my theory. There still may be a super easter egg that requires all easter eggs in other bo3 maps. Actually remember at the start of bo3 lifecycle, it was said that bo3 checks ee progress on older maps? Maybe it requires mob of the dead and origins ee to be completed as well as bo3 ee to be completed for the super easter egg

+David Wright I think that when dlc4 comes out on Xbox one there will be some sort of 'super Easter egg'. I mean, look at treyarchs recent Instagram post, in the caption they say 'can't wait for revelations to come out for Xbox one' if that isn't a direct hint that something will happen when it gets released on Xbox then I don't know what is.

This is what Monty says when he sends the O4 back to repeat the cycle. Why does it work out perfectly though? For who? Oh yeah! For Monty. Monty is evil and he realizes that sending the O4 back to primis is the only option. Monty cannot erase the characters from existence, but sending them back means no more blood vials. Blood vials will not ever be attainable because all other universes have been wiped. Monty will continue his plan in Treyarchs next game in two years. What do you think?
they need the blood vials for the cycle. so they don't die, if he send them back and they die. that means it's over completely and the cycle doesn't continue.
Yeah the cycle will not be able to continue in the next game because all universes have been erased other than a few. Blood Vials or a way of repeating the cycle probably won't be possible.

and who said that sending them back means they don't have the blood vials? just because we don't see them? it's a cycle for a reason, they've been primis since the beginning, since origins. so when Monty sends them back, that means the cycle is continuing, and they will end up at revelations again. we've seen so much about "primis must fail" I'm assuming now that it means we cant succeed in helping Monty. primis must fail, and break the cycle.
Yeah dude I understand, but the thing is that we cleared ALL OTHER universes, hence the challenge completion of "Uniform Universe." It would be impossible for them to still have the vials because at primis they did not have then AND Mob of the Dead never existed. Why aren't people understanding this?
There is a cycle. We gotta break it. The only way we can break it is to repair the friendship the shadow man and and Dr Monty shared. Fixing that will fix this entire cycle by ending the war.

All I want in this map to be honest is the Staffs the Staffs the Staffs the Staffs I just want the staffs and not the replica staffs from origins but the original staffs of thee ancients.

It's irrelevant that is confusing that is what makes a good story. Beginning, Exposition, Setting, Conflict, Complications, Resolution, climax. In this case there is many complications and and one big conflict, whens it's confusing the more interesting the story.
Derpnation Yeah it does make it more interesting, but people are starting to get tired of the same storyline that they keep dragging on, it should end in Revelations.

the story isn't over, the deeper it goes, the more greater the adventure is, the greater it is the more challenging zombies become, the more secrets we know, the more secrets we can gain for items we can unlock, for the items to obtain the more gaming history we create

Sorry to break it to ya but it doesn't work since my first easter egg run I was Richtofen wearing Al's hat. It's probably me but I couldn't get any type of hats when I was wearing Al's hat.

I have a little theory: so im guessing that everyone who has done the Revelations EE has done all the other EE's on the other maps. So when the Revelations EE cutscene shows, then the cutscene we all see is the cutscene where everyone has killed their 1.0 characters BUT what if you do the Revelations EE on a separate account where you haven't done all the other EE's, could we see a different cutscene?
I dont think so. In Jon's EE guide he says you get the same achievements so nothing changes.

Ok. I understand the storyline and everything about it, except for primis. Some please answer these questions: Who are the characters in primis, is it the origins crew? Where does it fit into storyline chronologically? Are those the staffs from origins or are they the original staffs?
Primis are Keepers. The first, and the last beings in existence. The events of the great war take place in Medieval times (the Templar Knights were around 1100-1300 AD). Our characters become Primis when Doctor Monty restarts the cycle. The staffs shown are the original staffs and Maxis will create copies of them for our 4 characters to use when they are reborn before WW1.
From what i can gather:
Primis is the start of zombies and they are the original staffs...

Does BO3 have nothing to do with BO1, if the cycle has been going on forever, then why do we see older versions of the crew in kino, ascension, etc.
Another point, I understood the whole cycle thing, but that doesn't make the ending any more satisfying... Where is Peter? Why did Sophia play such a big role, and not someone a little more important like a MOB character or a SOE character? My biggest question, WHEN DID RICHTOFEN COLLECT HiS SOUL??? He obviously didnt collect in in the giant because it wasnt sent up in GK. Qustions like these, and more, are just some I wished were answered in Rev.

That's what I thought, but he never said he collected it in the giant. He said something along the lines of "we must collect his soul, as you saw me do" never did he say in the giant, der riese, etc. And if his collected it in the giant, why did it not go up with the other three, and why was it already there in origins.
Ricardo Curiel in the giant and Der eisendrache, character conversations make it even clearer that he was collected his soul

I think, considering when you've completed all the Easter eggs there are slight changes to the game EG second starter pistol and less arrows used with charged upgraded bow shots, that every time you do a complete loop in order, little parts will keep changing because you are in a new loop and the Easter eggs will slightly change each time with slightly different endings until you get to the point of breaking the loop which will result in new maps where Dr Monty is after you and sending the zombies back to try finish you off; meaning Dr Monty is evil as well. Possibly the apothicans are equally as evil but they weren't here for our universe, that was all a lie Dr Monty made up, in fact they were here for him and he tricks the team into saving him, keeping the kids 'safe' (hostage) as a way of forcing the team into his bidding?
I'm pretty sure someone has seen it but if you go to kino , you see the origins Crew with the staffs and a couple of castle warriors (idk their specific name) but they're opposing the margwa, zombies and other stuff , I didn't get to look at it for a long time

Hey Dalek at the end of the origins Easter egg on the bed you can see sum tally charts of how many times they've played zombies of course it symbolises all the maps ever but it has more than there actually are so it shows there is a loop
MrDalekJD I was playing Der Eisendrache and if you look at the wall opposite to the L-Car9 you see the summoning altar for the keepers in Revalations. Could this be part of the super easter egg?

Look at the facial expressions of each of them at the beginning when they are transported back to Origins. 14:21. They all seem to acknowledge the cycle has just restarted... Dempsey does a heavy blink almost of frustration or realization. Nikolai looks angry and confused. Takeo shakes his head and looks at Richtofen. And Richtofen gives a head nod to Dempsey. Seems like they are acknowledging they have failed... Idk just a thought.
great video! but I think I have something a lot of people didn't notice, Nero knew about the book that kills the shadow man all along, codename pizza made a video called "Nero knows the future of the storyline" and he talks about some quotes Nero said about a book and this video was created before revelations! so I think that Nero was talking about the book in revelations, the one that killed the shadow man.

there is a quote from Takeo he says something like "this is not the end". That quote made me believe that the story isn't over. IDK if that quote is important or not, but it gave me hope :)
hey MrDalekJD I don't know if this might change anything, but did you guys try to complete the EE in revelations with only one player left alive(i.e. did you try to let 3 players die at the boss fight and vanish from the game then finish the EE)?
I don't have the map I don't know if this is even valid but it sounds to me that the cycle could break for dead players ?
notice how when we get the blood viles richtofen says we can use them incase we dont like where we end up so dlc 5 (if there is one could be them going back to kill monty with the staffs)
Did Jason ever say it would be the ending map or did he just say it would put brackets around the other maps? Because it put brackets around the other maps but it doesn't necessarily have to be the ending of our 8 year story.

hey Mr Dalek jd I have a big question what happened to the original crew from Kino
+MrDalekJD. I don't know if you know this but I came across these little purple flames within certain lanterns spread across the map. Each one gives you some dialogue, and one had something very interesting about Monty. The shadow man saying that Monty is "evil" and has gone by many names such as the devil, beezelbub, etc. Not sure if any of this is already known by you or others but I find it interesting. Maybe Monty really is truly evil? It's possible from what you said about the kids being safe away from Monty.
so a few thoughts, what if since all the maps are changing slightly, for example the bows on DE and spider rounds on ZNS, are a result from the cycle being restarted. Things are the same, just a little different. That's why we have to go through the maps again, we are in a new cycle, But this time our characters might remember. Richthofen could have shared the knowledge he gained from the kronorium with the other 3. And speaking of Richthofen, maybe the 1.0 version is the one who was the Shadowmans "apprentice". Monty quotes that the first time they teleported they changed the rules and got the attention of the apothicons. so maybe when he touched the mpd, the voices he was hearing was that of the shadow man and the apothicons. This would explain why Richthofen did "nearly everything he told him" interested in what you guys think.
Is the summoning key like the staffs, but combined? Because all of their souls were put into it.
I think it's gonna be a second Easter Egg just like moon because if you complete the Easter Egg on Revelations you can still move and see things in the corners of the screen in the end so there will probably be something to add later on to the EE when Xbox and Pc comes out.
Have you tried going back after revelations and doing all Easter eggs and try to break the loop, changes happen to each map after Easter egg is complete

in all the other dlc's, the main main ee has been solved way before it came out on Xbox and PC, so I think Treyarch will add it in when it comes out for all platforms so everyone has a chance to find the main ee.
What if you don't play Zetsobou No Shima and technically therefore, DON'T get the blood vials? Could you do the Revelations easter egg without doing previous easter eggs?

I'm not sure if everyone remembers but the guy that in charge of zombies posted a video a couple of months ago that said that there was a even larger easter egg and that we'll have to go back to the old maps (World at War and so forth) to find the pieces that we missed to see the whole picture.
The Ending cutscene when it shows primas doesn't have to be the exact time when they were sent back it could just be a changed in perspective. They could've been sent back before the battle.
This better not be a disappoint video like the staffs one!

Since there is a secured start point (Origins) and a secured end point (Revelations) how will there be any other zombies maps? I mean they can't really make any other maps with these characters or it would just screw up the whole cycle we have right now, right?

In origins samanth says, the staffs have been lost for centuries. This means that the loop starts when the characters get teleported to the dimension where they rule with staffs. In the cutscenes the people arnt zombies so this means it has to be in the past.
Man I remember when I saw the origins last cutscene I thought it was all over for zombies.

After they fix everything they go back to primis and then it restarts. They kill themselves again, and try to fix things again
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but when playing as Richtofen and entering the origins part of the map, he'll say something along the lines of him getting visions of saving the girl. And from origins we know maxis was getting visions of a daughter he didn't have which is from his original timeline self. What I believe this means is that we are not playing as the "Origins" crew. I don't know if this could be correct but correct me if I'm wrong
did anyone notice how Rictofen and dempsy seem to know whats about to happen before it happens but takeo and nikolai dont? Rictofen and dempsy share a look in the cutscene when monty says "those blood vials", as if to say, we didnt break the cycle. Takeo and nikolia get ready to fight but tank and rictofen dont, because they remember, and because they know they have failed, rictofen tells monty to send them somewhere else, continiuing the cycle. This can also be seen at the end when tank and rictofen lift up their staffs before nikolia and takeo, because they remember doing it before. There are also other hints towards this theory, including tank saying "rictofen i thought we were done with this" when rictofen kills his 1.0 version. This is because he remembers killing their 1.0 versions before and still not breaking the cycle. Tank also knows about the beacon, when he shouldn't. Other elements foreshadowing this is when tank says "good to see you tank", when about to kill his 1.0 version, like he has done it many times before. However when takeo kills his 1.0 version, he is shocked when he finds out that the emperor has betrayed him. Also takeo repeatedly says "i fear i will succumb to madness" in one of the revelations trailers. This could be from his memories of past cycles coming back in fragments, and he thinks he is going mad by remembering killing himself and others in the past.
