It was my first PJ show, I was 17. Travelled 2 days from my hometown in Croatia to get there. Thanx Dad for buying me a ticket and sending me there.

Wow! That was also my first PJ show, and I traveled from Pakrac, where I had been volunteering (I’m American.) It’s so weird seeing memories from 25 years ago show up on UA-cam. I actually ended up living in Budapest two years after that for a long while.

A lot of people says Jack has no energy. Jack isn't just all about to make you headbang, Jack has a ton of technique that isn't too noticeable to the ear but makes the song sound so powerful.
To all those who waited 20+ years to see them live in Budapest on this day for the first time...next year I supose will serve as I first meeting. :D

this song had a huge impact on my life ... the album on the code is sensational.
Just got out of the water surfing and my daughter dienloaded bunch if music for me while i run and this was first song loaded😁👍. Were going next month Ohana festival in Dana point ti see PJ fir my 28th time. My kids are now huge fans😁. We raised our girls right lol 😊

I was keeping my fingers crossed for a video like that of my personal favourite concert of all time on a sad day like today when Budapest could have got another PJ show after 24 years of waiting. I love Pearl Jam but I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never heard this song 😊. Love it
I don't blame you. The first time i started listening to Pearl jam, it was once i finally had Internet in my home (2010). Well, precisely the beginning of 2011. And i always favoured the most powerful and explosive songs. I used to hear just a bunch of songs from No Code. But over the years, i went through too many things, and that's when i started listening to those more "deeper" songs. This song in particular helped me a lot, and also recommended it to an old friend of mine, who was going through the same problems as i. Since those days i really appreciate this song, it is one of those golden creations from Pearl Jam, without a doubt.

Back then, we had no idea that we would have to sleep 9368 to see them again in Budapest, in a few hours...

Absolutely fabulous take of the song! Last january I was in Budapest and went to see the new Puskas Stadium (former Népstadion, place where Queen played in 1986, Magic Tour -Hungarian Rhapsody homevideo- & so did U2 in their ZOO TV - Zooropa '93 tour). We could'nt visit the inside of the stadium 'cos it was'nt finished yet, but we entered into the Sportcsarnok, just near from there, the place where this take was filmed. I watched inside the buildind where young people was training etc. and thought "Wow, Pearl Jam played here!". I was at their concert in Barcelona (No Code '96) a few days later. Ah, memories!
This arena has burned down in 1999. The one you saw was built in 2003. They are on the same place.
Oh my! There's actually video footage of the one and only show in Budapest!!!!
I believe that all the shows are recorded by the band.
Given this video serves as a great example of a terrible audience ruining a performance by trying (and failing) to clap on beat, it's not hard to see why a band would have decided to do so few shows there.

I was there, great night great band. It was a piece of USA as there were a legion of US soldiers. The other part were people from the nearby countries and a few hundreds Hungarians. Overall a bunch of very friendly people.
