It´s a bit sad that the rear isn´t widened. It makes the M3 so much better looking. This car is just as wide as a C180.. Also a coupe is coming: CLE. It´s based on the C Class with some E Class features
@@za9zo9i Nah the rear is absolutely slim. Look at the M3/M4 how far the rear wheel arches come out. And then the C63s. The C63 is super wide in the front and super narrow in the rear which makes no sense.
Like the last c63. Only the coupe had a widened rear. Kinda fair to now keep by not adding it for the new one as well. But as u already said, a new coupe is coming
As an AMG owner of a c43 my car honestly sounds way better than this new c63 and had high hopes for it. We all the know the previous c63 and c63s had that exhaust note that turned heads and commanded respect when you drove by. Im sure this new c63 will perform well with its 680hp, but we care about that aggressive feeling when you step in the old c63. The V8 comes alive in the w204 and w205 versions. But hey that’s just my opinion and will support Mercedes’ always. Im sure other fellow AMG owners can agree on this. Thanks for uploading the video Mr. Benz, much appreciated.

Yes, the controversy of this C63 AMG is impacting sales of the other brands. The C63 is not just a car. It is now what defines Mercedes and how it is perceived.

@@rickzagor On a C43 the price increase I can see is reasonable for the updated body, and nicer interior. However no thanks on the engine change. Twin Turbo V6 is more desirable to the target buyer for this car then a 4 banger with a fancy F1 turbo that no one is going to want any part of replacing when it's out of warranty. AMG should have kept the older engines with HP upgrades along with quality upgrades to drive durability to improve the image of their product. They are using the M177 on the new S63 with a hybrid drivetrain so their was no need to go with the 4 banger for the C-Class.

Nowhere near as aurally exciting as the outgoing 4.0L V8. The new C63 still goes like stink, but I'm really not sure about the complicated hybrid and the near 2 ton curb weight.
Honestly AMG should be ashamed of themselves for asking $100K for what this car is going to come in well optioned. They easily could have kept the M177 and optimized it up to 600HP like the E63s with 4 matic+, a redesigned exhaust and this car would demand easily $20K over MSRP for the first year allocations.
This is so tragic for Mercedes. Murdering an icon with a 4 cylinder. Could then not have at least engineered a cross plan crank 4 cylinder so it would sound at least somewhat like a v8? Such a sad end to a legendary car.
Honestly, my wife’s 2018 GLA 45 AMG (also 2 litre turbo, ,most powerful 2 litre turbo production engine at the time blah blah etc) sounds better than this.
