What are some other awesome collaborations that happened in rock?! Was awesome hearing Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty on a song together!! Hope you guys enjoyed the live stream yesterday!! Going to have a PO Box Highlights video going up tomorrow for anybody who missed it! Cheers all!!! 🙌🏻🔥
Andy & Alex check out her song with Don Henley
Lita Ford and Ozzy.
You MUST do the video where the guy screams "Judas!" at Dylan and Dylan turns around and says to The Band "Play it really fu$@#ing loud!" and they go into Like A Rolling Stone.
Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush..."Don't Give Up".
Nice. I love the guitar. The harmonies. Love the drums during the fade out. That kick is nice.
Her duet w/ Don Henley, "Leather & Lace" is another good Stevie Nicks song.
A must hear!!!!
I preferred the Dave Grohl & Will Ferrel cover
Great song..!
Yup!!!!
You will never hear that song on this channel because Don Henley will have it taken down in a second.
When you're a kid in the 70's Stevie had your full attention, a hauntingly beautiful voice with physical beauty to match.
A lot of girls wanted to dress like her. She was like a rock and roll fairy.
You could definitely see her influence on Madonna, in the beginning.
...and you had that poster of her on your wall...
Stevie Nicks and the Wilson sisters, lovely and talented....what a great time for music
She bewitches you!
Wife : “your watching kids listen to songs?”
Me : yep ain’t it cool?
Happens here in our household to,so I can definitely relate! Glad the younger generations are discovering and enjoying and sharing everything we were listening to when we younger! And everything doesn’t necessarily have to be a “BANGER “. , just keep reacting!!
Yes, our little cousins. They grow up so fast. These guys are the kind of reactors that I would absolutely love to take in the time machine. I wouldn’t start out easy either. I’d pick something way over the top! Vintage PREIST? RUSH? PANTERA? PINK FLOYD? AC⚡️DC : For Those About to Rock tour. So much to mess them up with!
William P Hall , are y’all in rocking chairs when you say that?
phil Stone Rocking chairs? hell no... what’s left of my liver can take that much motion.
phil Stone my rocking recliner lol
Stevie Nicks does not have a bad song. Also, Tom Petty is an INCREDIBLE Writer, singer and just all around musician. The heartbreakers are Sooo good.
I agree that this song is a solid
"A" !!!! ❤
YES SHE DOES. tons of bad songs.
@@Retroearthling my opinion creep.
I'm entitled to that. Get a real life.
Edge of Seventeen is to me, her signature.
AGREE!
I try to love it, but every time it comes on the radio, I'm waiting for Eye of the Tiger... :(
definitely her most popular solo work.
@@scottjswenson Nothing wrong with that, do the double, and enjoy, lol.
A&A will probably recognize the guitar as the riff from "Bootylicious" by Destinys Child. :D
Traveling Wilburys, "Handle With Care". You can't get more of a super crossover than that.... Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne (ELO), and Roy Orbison
Any Traveling Wilbur's song... for that matter.
YES! This was a gathering of some of the greatest names in rock & roll!
The only question I have about that collaboration is if it’s later than these guys are interested in. The artists are all known for earlier work. From a video standpoint, with a lot of the same guys plus more, I’d do the Dylan 25th Anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden version of My Back Pages. As a collaboration, it is completely epic.
Not all collaborations are vocal. Instrumentally, I’ll tell you again: Eric Clapton and Duane Allman on Layla, Derek and the Dominoes
Not a collaboration. They were s band.
Please note: This was a Tom Petty/Mike Campbell co-write, and Jimmy Iovine asked them to let Stevie do the song on her album. Drums were played expertly by Stan Lynch of the Heartbreakers. Bass was by Duck Dunn of Booker T & the MGs.
word!
The story is that the Heartbreakers rehearsed and recorded the song so many times they started calling it “Stop Dragging This Song Around.” One day some really cute woman was in the studio; everyone thought she was someone’s girlfriend. Then they realized it was Stevie Nicks. A couple of days later Tom played the tape back and it was now a duet. Stevie always said if not for Fleetwood Mac she would be a Heartbreaker. Alas Tom had and enforced a “no girl Heartbreaker policy.”
really it was tp's song, he told her he was giving her "insider", took it back and gave her this. Not as good as insider and Tom knew it.
No wonder the bass is so tasty!
"When Love Comes to Town" - U2 and B. B. King. Guarantee you've never heard anything this amazing.
Yes. Also love "One" by U2 with Mary J Blige.
Great song 😊
Damn amazing song!! Great pick! 💚🇮🇪☘️👍🤘
Forgot about that one -
Amen!
I love hearing Stevie in the background of John Stewart's classic Gold.
Both she and Lindsey did back up on that album. Her voice and Lindsy's guitar are the perfect combination for his singing.
I always think of that as the sister track to the Mac's "Sisters of the Moon". Guitar and vocal settings were near identical.
@@jamesdignanmusic2765 Nice observation!
George Harrison & Eric Clapton - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Epic version of this song has to be when Prince overtook the R&R HOF induction ceremony from 4 other guitarists including Harrison in a mind-blowing virtuoso performance! Check it out on UA-cam. 💯
@@9337sjm This👍
Jeff Healey does a great version of that song too.🤟
The Beatles were also involved. . .
Steve, that would be Dhani Harrison, because George already passed before he went into the HOF.
Also, Eddie Money's Take Me Home Tonight makes great use of Ronnie Spector.
No it doesnt compare
What?
Just like Ronnie said, "Be my little baby."
Ronnie with Southside Johnny is also great stuff.
Ozzie Osbourne and Lita Ford did a great duet with "If I Close My Eyes Forever". It's worth a listen.
Tom Petty was America's voice and rocker. He wrote incredible songs about everyday issues. He hit us in the heart. After hearing I Need To Know, I was hooked. The Heartbreakers are all amazing musicians too. Awful loss for so many people. RIP America's Own Rocking Son 💜💜🎼🎵🎶
I agree. And, yes...such an awful, awful loss. I really miss him. 💞🙏
Tom Petty is to the South what Bruce is to the Northeast. What John Cougar is to the West Coast. And what Bob Seger is to the Midwest. A storyteller making music for the average person from that region - perfectly capturing the ups and downs, the emotions and passions, and the heartbreak and unending love that emanates from their region.
Mellencamp is from Indiana.
I was told the same thing about Bruce Springsteen, John Cougar Mellencamp and Creedence Clearwater. Wow! There sure are a lot of America's voice and rockers.
@@kamtheman106 John Cougar is from Indiana
Gentlemen, this is a Tom Petty song through and through... one that he agreed to bring Stevie in on. It has all the flavor of Petty. Let this be the gateway to your exploration of the great Tom Petty - with and without The Heartbreakers. Almost criminal he has been so ignored here and elsewhere on these channels. "Refugee" and "Breakdown" will get you started.
Oh those songs are the shit (bangers)
Well said!
@@McClellan71 pretty sure she meant that in a good way MC.
@@flubblert my bad.. I'm too old! Haha. Deleting my comment
@@McClellan71 LOL! I know I know, trust me. Getting harder and harder to keep up. 🙃
She tried to get into the Heartbreakers a couple times and Tom told her “there are no girls in the Heartbreakers “...
It's to believe that this song came out in 1981!!! I remember it like yesterday! It's such a Timeless song
Kenny Loggins and Stevie Nicks "Whenever I Call You Friend".
Totally forgot about this one.
No too wimpy
Love that song!
Another notable collab - Bryan Adams and Tina Turner on It's Only Love.
Yes! Love that song. :)
LUV IT!
YES!! Down & dirty!!
Nice.
Yes!! Great song.
I went to a Stevie Nicks concert a few years ago. She still sounds and looks great for a woman in her 70’s. Duet suggestions are “Don’t Fight It” by Kenny Loggins & Steve Perry, and “It’s Only Love” by Bryan Adams & Tina Turner. Both are rockers.
I hate to admit it, but the best duet is and will always be Elton John and Kiki Dee.
Petty’s best vocal performance: A Woman in Love.
by far my fave song of theirs
David Sommerville it’s my favorite Petty song❤️❤️❤️
Totally agree! Probably my favorite TP song
My absolute all time fave.
Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood from Traffic (Blind Faith album) Can't Find My Way Home
Such a great song.
Yea! And also sea of joy
Excellent reminder.
Amen and do it.
The Travelling Wilburys might be the greatest collaboration band...in my humble opinion...
That is fact! All legends... Gush worthy! :)
PREACH!!!
Dirty Mac was a once in a lifetime group, John Lennon {vocals}, Eric Clapton {Lead Guitar}, Keith Richards {Bass} and Mitch Mitchell {Drums} but the Wilburys were a constellation, where demigods came to jam ;)
Box of Frogs
@@cabansinleaf8867 Over the weekend I found the full Rock and Roll Circus on UA-cam. First time I saw Dirty Mac. Wow! Well, until the second song, lol.
Rob Thomas vocals, Santana Guitar. "Smooth"
Yes!!!
Love it. Shame it's the first Grammy for such a legend as Santana.
No joke. Was never a Matchbox 20 fan, but he just killed it on that song! And Santana's magic on guitar was the icing on the cake. 🎂
@@markymark0417 Absolutely, It's a song everyone should hear. I personally love the riffs and Rob's voice.
No..
David Bowie and Bing Crosby, "The Little Drummer Boy"!!
I watched this on TV when it first aired. Amazing classi.c
This one should be saved as a Christmas classic.
Yes. It legit made me cry when I heard it the year Bowie died.
I smell an excellent “Andy & Alex” Christmas special
Or Christmas in July, I guess, if they act fast
Loved this collab!
Stevie Nicks & Don Henley of the Eagles did a song called "Leather And Lace" you should check it out its really good!
Off the same album, too. Bella Donna rocks!
My dudes! Peter Green, the founder of Fleetwood Mac died Saturday. You should be doing "Black Magic Woman" or "Oh Well'. Stevie Nicks said in a statement: "I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Peter Green. My biggest regret is that I never got to share the stage with him. I always hoped in my heart of hearts that that would happen. When I first listened to all the Fleetwood Mac records, I was very taken with his guitar playing. It was one of the reasons I was excited to join the band. His legacy will live on forever in the history books of Rock n Roll. It was in the beginning, Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac and I thank you, Peter Green, for that."
Albatross would be a great song to pay respect to Peter Green..... BBT live version
They should react to his song The Super Natural from the Bluesbreakers album A Hard Road - the song from which Santana made a 50 year career out of copying it. :P
Seconded on "Oh Well."
"Green Manalishi" for sure!
The Supernatural
Yep, Mike Campbell indeed. Such a great guitarist and writer. A terrific song that he wrote (and played guitar on) and that Don Henley sang is "Boys of Summer." For another Tom Petty song, I think I have to suggest "The Waiting." It's just perfection.
Some great Tom Petty songs you must hear. "You Got Lucky", "Breakdown", "Refugee", "The Waiting", "American Girl", "I Need To Know", "A Woman In Love", "I Got A Thing About You" etc. My sister and I used to cruise around down to the beach and listen to Tom Petty, Bad Company, The Eagles, ZZ Top, Doobie Brothers, The Babies and so many more. Good times, great music!
Check out David Bowie’s song Fame from 1975. John Lennon sang backup on it. Great tune
I always wondered how much of the lyrics Lennon wrote. It would be something that he could write, but may be reluctant to do for himself. He gave the song “ I am the greatest“ to Ringo for that reason.
Tremendous groove. John Winston O Boogie on rhythm guitar and backup vocals.
Another Petty/Nicks good song but a deep track is "The Insider." Nick's/Don Henley (The Eagles) "Leather & Lace."
The Insider, great song
Jimmy Iovine thought it was Petty’s best up to that point.
Pat Murray Leather and lace was so emotional
The Insider and Stop Dragging my Heart Around are great duets by these two and two of my favorite songs however my favorite is I Will Run to You which was released as a Stevie Nicks song despite it being very much a Tom Petty song and performance.
The Insider, probably the better duet with Stevie
R.I.P Peter Green, one of the greatest guitarist of all time
Give Stan Lynch some love on the drums!
He's a groove monster!
👍 Peak Stan Lynch! He's giving a lesson in musicality on this one.
Stevie and Don Henley Leather and Lace
YESSSS! That one's my favorite duet and then call me Friend with Kenny Loggins is my second favorite duet with Stevie Nicks. This duet with Tom Petty is good but I'm not a huge Tom Petty fan and the song wasn't one of my top ten favorites but I've always loved Stevie Nicks.
I used to listen to call me friend 50 times a day back in the 1970s and I could listen to " Leather and Lace" all day long!
Ooh yes, that's gorgeous!
The Traveling Wilburys
Great shout Kathy
The video version is imo the best way to see this. With George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne just doing what they love to do.
I second the Traveling Wilburys "End of the Line", but watching the video is a *must* with the empty rocking chair when Roy's vocals come in. Who can beat Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and George Harrison.
I love how Alex is listening to one of the premier female voices in rock and really reacts to Petty's vocals. Awesome!
Stevie Nicks and Kenny Loggins "Whenever I call You Friend"....brilliant vocals, harmonies, and energy!
Stevie Nicks has made a career of defiantly NOT being married. She's such a beast. And not vulnerable to the sauce.
Stevie’s love life is sort of legendary. She’s single now and has said she’s good with that because she’s had such a full love life. She hooked up with Mick Fleetwood after Lindsey and her dissolved. But then Mick left Stevie for her best friend. She was then with Don Henley of the Eagles. The Fleetwood Mac song Sara is about their unborn baby. During the making of this album, her first solo album, she got together with Jimmy Iovine who was both her producer and Tom Petty’s producer. Jimmy introduced Tom and Stevie and thus this song. She’s said Jimmy was the great love of her life. When Fleetwood Mac reunited for The Dance in 1997, she and Lindsey circled around giving their relationship another shot but she realized quickly that even after 20 years he hadn’t really changed. I love this song, love this album, and Stevie of course. ✌️💕✨
I had read an article awhile back that said that Joe Walsh was the love of her life, but they both were messed up on drugs and alcohol when they hooked up.
Two of my favorite people together , this is so awesome.. Rest in peace Tom you are missed... Thanks guys this was great..
I’ve been waiting for this. Please do more Tom Petty.
" LEATHER & LACE" Stevie and Don Henley from the Eagles. ❤❤❤ " CALL YOU FRIEND" Miss Stevie Nicks with Kenny Loggins back in the 1970s.
They are both incredible duets and much much better than the one she did with Tom.
Don Henley has 60 people working for him that block Eagles and Henley videos from Utube and others. Rick Beato explains it in his channel. Henley is worth 200 mil so...F him.
Rick Beato has an entire video ranting about Henley's blocking.
Personally, I liked her duet with John Stewart more, 1979's *"Gold"* ...
@@loosilu that's the one I was referencing. Rick is a cool guy.
@@heathcliff8624 Like the screen name. Is that your nod to the great Red Skelton?
They didn't write this song together , Petty had already written it before it was performed as a duet.
Thanks for clarifying that. I always thought it sounded like a fairly pure Petty song.
Two of the best voices in the biz.. R.I.P Tom Petty..well missed....
Tom Petty brought Stevie Nicks in earlier on an amazing song called I’m An Insider. She sang an AMAZING harmony. It’s a slow ballad style, but it is a fabulous song. If you like Petty’s lyrics, which who wouldn’t, you’ll love Insider.
RIP Peter Green, founder of Fleetwood Mac. How about "The Green Manalishi(with the two pronged crown). A banger!
When I finally heard the original version I wasn't impressed. Judas Priest did my favorite version on the Unleashed in the East live album. But this is just my opinion. 😎☮️
@@davide.pedersen3378 I like the JP version too, but there isn't a shred of soul in that cover, all flash. The original is just so harrowing, nothing comes close.
The live version from Boston is a complete beast. The solo from Green on that number is majestic!!
And live cut of "Oh well" also! They could also do a compare and contrast with Judas Priest's cover of "Green Manalishi"
Black Magic Woman
Runnin' Down A Dream by Tom Petty + The Heartbreakers? Who's for it?
Nicholas Murner - possibly the best song to really get into Mike Campbell’s guitar work.
@@bigskyneal784 The guitar solo at the end is one take and fully improvised, really impressive stuff. Tom Petty tells the story in the "Convesations with Tom Petty" book, even he was completely blown away.
And Refugee after that.
Runnin Down A Dream is my song
James Taylor and JD Souther, Her Town!
tom petty is such a musician, on every level. and he has done amazing work with george harrison, jeff lynne, bob dylan and roy orbison aka travelling wilburys. worth a look when you put those five artists together!!
Whenever I call you friend with Stevie & Kenny Loggins. A great tune!
You can’t go too far wrong with Stevie Nicks as a sugar momma!
Search: The Rotters Sit On My Face Stevie Nicks
dwc1964 haha! I strangely feel as if I’ve heard that before, but I could be wrong. It’s brilliant though!
More like a sugar granny, let's be honest... but to each they own bag of chips
Stevies Not Anyone's Sugar Mamma......Get a Job!
Gemini Luv I wish I had their job when I was in college...much better than stuffing envelopes, which is what I did for one year!
It's a master class on "space" and "Textures" ...the backing vocals blend with the Hammond organ , while the guitar plays simple licks over the top,and the bass and drums hold down a smooth groove.....
Definitely...'S'....all the way...
So pumped to see this song here today!! Can't go wrong with Stevie and Tom.
Tom Petty was a genius songwriter! Try next It's Good to Be King or Into the Great Wide Open, Running down a Dream. Literally everything he wrote was perfect.
Hey in case you guys didn't know this was originally just a Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers song with only Tom on vocals. Then someone at record label suggested a duet with Stevie who was very hot at that time. The original version was released last year on the Petty retrospective collection.
It sounds 100% like Petty's songwriting.
I like both versions. I like the duet with Stevie Nicks so much better.
It was Stevie's producer and lover at the time, (Jimmy Iovine)who said that she needed a single for the radio. So he introduced Tom to Stevie. She was a great fan of his music and they became good friends. He gave her this song for her first solo LP.
@@nancylipscomb550 Thanks for the info , i knew it was somebody outside of their bands that hooked them up.
@@rogerdaly6326 I am delighted to share some of the things that I have learned about the music and artists that I love. This tid-bit is from her "Crossroads" concert with Lady A(ntebellum). Really great performance by both. Check it out if you can.

you guys have to watch the live version Stevie is beyod stunning in her black lace dress
OMG ! Stevie and Tom have another duet....I forgot...." THE INSIDER". It is SAUCY!!!
Here it is..... ua-cam.com/video/x7bjXWzms5I/v-deo.html
A couple of collaborations that I really love are “Wishing You Were Here” by Chicago with The Beach Boys singing harmony vocals, and “Day After Day” by Badfinger with George Harrison on lead guitar and Leon Russell on piano. Badfinger is a group y’all need to dive into soon. They were so, so good.
Badfinger was an awesome band. Pete Ham was one of the most talented songwriter/musician. He would have had a massive career if things didn't go so horribly wrong. George Harrison thought he was incredible and asked Pete to join him for the Bangladesh concert. There is a song on here that didn't get released but the video shows how talented he was. The song is Baby Please.
I love the same music...Chicago was great. Try GUITAR MAN by Bread.... I dig instrumental music.
@Fuphyter yes, sadly Badfinger came to a tragic end. They were one of the shining lights of that era, musically.
@Carmen Wise “Guitar Man” is my favorite Bread song! It’s mesmerizing! I would have loved to hear Glen Campbell cover that song. He did sing a few Bread songs with David Gates on GC’s variety show, but not Guitar Man.
@@allisonreed7682 heyyy from Carmen...what happened to Badfinger? I'm not quite educated on them...but luv that group.😍
Guys, I’m 58 and have been listening to this song forever and today is the first time I heard the line “ This doesn’t have to be the big get even “ lol I guess I haven’t been really listening. Thanks love the show!
"Under Pressure" - Queen and David Bowie. Best rock duet in history
Ya think? The best in history? That’s a big statement man. I don’t know about that...... maybe.
Best? Pretty dang good, but Best? Certainly not my favorite that’s for sure.
Check out Queen’s tribute to Freddie live concert with Bowie and Annie Lennox doing Under Pressure.
Mike Campbell is now with Fleetwood Mac. Proud of him, my high school classmate!
She will always be our (girls of the 70s) goddess!
Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Healy doing “Look at Little Sister” LIVE!! Y’all will LOVE IT!!
The whole White Wing Dove Concert filmed I think in 1981 is a true masterpiece of Stevie’s and still worth watching today, Stevie at her very best, in my opinion
How about some Linda Ronstadt. Every bit Stevie's match, vocally and otherwise (at least back then...). Poor, Poor Pitiful Me would be great because it would bring Warren Zevon to your attention (he wrote it), which is what I'm really angling for here. That and Lowell George (Little Feat) who Linda dated.
Linda Ronstadt could sing circles around Stevie. Not knocking Stevie because Linda could sing circles around pretty much everyone.
@@Maydoggie Plus Linda could sing anything and pretty much did.
@Steve May No argument here. Just being nice to Stevie.
Pretty even match as far as looks, especially back then and vocals.
Zevon would be a great place for A&A to go for something refreshingly cynical but fun. An amazing catalogue of fantastic songs - and sadly most people only know him for one novelty hit.
Guys", you need to see the video of them together doing this song! Its amazing!
It's Stevie dudes. She can wrap her voice around anyone's.
Can't hear this song without "Weird Al's" version "Stop Driving My Car Around" singing in my head. 🙂
You're not the only one
Pretty sure I've listened to "Weird Al's" parody more than the original!
I'll be sure to never listen to it Thanks for the heads up!
To really get a feel for the times, they should also react to some novelty/comedy/parody tunes--Dr. Demento stuff, starting with Weird Al.
Dudes with the sad passing of Peter Green what about some early Fleetwood Mac? Oh Well and The Green Manalishi would be a great place to start. 🎸
Couldn't agree more David
The Supernatural.....that’s what Peter Green was!!🎸
Green Manalishi covered by Judas Priest live on Unleashed in the East is an awesome rendition. Rob Halford hits some amazing high notes on this.
Awesome song I still listen to it.
Lita Ford and OZZY, doing “close my eyes forever”

They made Stevie an honorary heartbreaker, complete with a badge.
Great choice. Try some Uriah Heep. Stealin’ and Easy Liven. Both are bangers
This song still gives me the chills after all these years! Tom Petty was my fave in the early 80's when my boys were babies! "BREAKDOWN" wasn't gateway song!
One of those songs that vividly transports me back to when I used up the record, had the 8 Track, wore out the cassette, and it was on the radio every hour for a long while. So love hearing it for the first time again through you guys.

Kate's voice is indescribable it's so unique and beautiful
@@Nutmegger7Agreed. Know one else even remotely similar, (though Tori Amos very Kate influenced), I think Wuthering Heights is the starting point, but could freak them out at how unusual her voice is. Dude, i have mixed feelings about the Don't give up song: I love it but I can't heard it anymore because always makes me cry.

Don’t give up
This Woman’s work
The man with the child in his eyes
Running up that hill
Wuthering heights
Babooshka
"Blinded By The Light" Manfred Mann's Earth Band
And along with that, the other Manfred Mann Springsteen cover, "For You" - which I like even better on account of the banger piano riff
I prefer the Springsteen original. It off of his debut album, Greetings from Asbury Park. It is a killer debut album. So many great tracks!
@@blackeyedlily I love the Springsteen originals of both. But since the topic was Manfred Mann covers of Springsteen songs, that's what I was replying to. And I also enjoy both Manfred Mann covers - with the edge going to "For You".
I like the "Songwriters" performance when Springsteen jokes about Manfred Mann changing "deuce" to "douche" - he also expressed gratitude for making hits out of his early songs.
Personally, I prefer the Manfred Mann version of all of Springsteen's songs that they did.
One of the things I love about what you guys are doing is allowing me the opportunity to really hear these songs again for the first time with a fresh perspective. I've seen a lot of these "reacts" channels but you guys do it better than anyone else out there. Your enthusiasm and deep appreciation for the process are just, as you might say, the "sauce" that puts it over the top.

Leather and Lace with Don Henley of the Eagles is a can’t miss🔥
Aerosmith and Run-DMC doing Walk this way.
Good stuff !! You need to see the original video w Stevie and TP, what an absolute goddess she was. I forget just how Beautiful she looked in her prime, and she ain't to shabby today!
Bryan Adams and Tina Turner - It's Only Love
Queen and David Bowie - Under Pressure
INXS and Jimmy Barnes - Good Times

"Hypnotized" another great Fleetwood song, not featuring her, but great nevertheless...And you should check out Petty's "Running Down a Dream" with a killer guitar. And as collaborations it's Stevie & Don Henley of Eagles in Leather & Lace. BTW she had affairs with both Petty & Henley, go girl!
That song has caused a lot of speeding tickets.
Bob Welch deserves a lot of credit for keeping Fleetwood Mac going in between the Green era and the Buckingham Nicks era. He's got quite a few bangers on his five FM albums .
*Running Down a Dream
Hypnotized is my fav early Fleetwood Mac song as well.
Hypnotized is my favorite of Fleetwood Mac's Bob Welch era! A great song with Christine McVie's haunting backup vocals.
Lindsey sang the 'Vacation' song.
Holiday Roads
Lindsey and Christine sang background vocals on "I Love LA"
He also done the closing song, Dancin across the USA 👍
'Vulnerable to your sauce,' too funny! You guys might be surprised, at, how much Mike and Tom were interchangeable! Pretty sure Tom was playing, a few of, those riffs that you guys were diggin!!
This is one of my favorites! Two great singers who fit together so well.
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers were "groove & hook masters". The whole band!
Stevie and Tom's voices absolute originals.
This tune was an instant classic.
Ian Cunningham - “Refugee” - “You got Lucky” - love the melody.
Free Falling!
Yes, yes and yes!
"Breakdown".
Because he was in my opinion, unshakable by the hair band scene.
TPHB were that great.
Immovavable
Y'all got a Like for reacting to Stevie Nicks fellas...👊👍😎
#EDGEOFSEVENTEEN
I’m sure it been mentioned somewhere else in the comments, but it’s cool you picked up on the bass, that was one of the greatest session bass players of all time, Donald “Duck” Dunn. He was in The Blues Brother Band, and of course, Booker T and the MGs.
classic Tom Petty Stevie Nicks and that Mike Campbell guitar.
I did this one on my UA-cam channel last year was fun playing Mike's parts..
Its an interesting story how Stevie Nicks just starting her solo career got Tom Petty to let her have this song. which really helped kick off her solo career.
Hi guys. Leather and Lace is a collaborative song with Stevie and her other ex, Don Henley. This is a must hear, trust me.
Speaking of Don Henley, add in Mike Campbell and you have "Boys of Summer". Another must listen & review.
Stevie was legendary in her romances. She had an affair with Mick Fleetwood while he was married to Jenny Boyd. She's Pattie Boyd's sister. You know, Pattie Boyd of George Harrison/Eric Clapton fame. You need graphing software to keep track of the relationships.
I trust you :)
I doubt they will be able to listen to anything with Don Henley, since he usually has all his songs blocked from many music media sites...
@@loosilukinda like in Jefferson Airplane where whichever band member was sleeping with Grace Slick at the time had control of the band? And Marty Balin was always bitter because it was never him.
A good song that was completely finished and recorded by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers before this recording. They gave the finished song to Nicks who having just recorded her first solo album felt that they didn’t have a single. Nicks boyfriend at the time managed Tom Petty and that was the shared connection between them.
Tom Petty was a master. Love him always. American Girl, Breakdown, Don't Do Me Like That, Here Comes My Girl, Even The Losers and about a million others!
