    Hello Johnny,
A mixed bag for sure... I have an old Seiko five that has been remarkability accurate for many years. I also prefer the mechanical watches and have a few that I have picked up over the years sitting on watch winders... one or two have really risen in price. One of my favorite brand is Ollech & Wajs. Thanks for an interesting video.
    Take care.

Seikos have really jumped up in price recently. I subscribe to a channel called 'My Retro Watches' He's a British guy who mostly restores Seikos. I learn a lot from him. Take a look when you get a free moment
I'm now off to investigate Ollech & Wajs 😁

A few little gems there mate…I’ve got a few Nite watches, they attract a military following. You certainly will make your money back and more!

Thats absolutely spot on. Ive not heard of them before. Its a lovely looking thing, I was tempted to keep it but instead I serviced the old Vostok Russian military watch and have got that on my wrist now. Putin would be proud 😁

Well, OK...Not a TR 6 but still interesting. I have used glass polishing compounds to remove scratches and small imperfections from car windscreens I have restored. It's costly, about $45 US for a 1/2 cup size tin but it works well. There are also various grit special sanding discs for glass scratch removal. Maybe they would work to restore watch glass.

      Hi Albert
Glad to see youre still tuning in. I do actually have some glass polishing compound in a powder form A lot of these older watches have an acrylic glass which I can polish using a 1200 grit paper and a polishing compound. Most of these watches are now on ebay and it looks like theyll be sold. Ive been offered £140 for one particular watch but I'm going to let the auction run. Turns out that luckily I didnt do too badly with my job lot of watches
