Hello, and thanks for the great video. My E60 is a 2008 528xi with the N52. Is the reset procedure for the oil life available in the CCC system, or does it require a software interface like in your video? Also, do you know if the BMW procedure for bleeding the cooling system are the same on the 2008? Some sources recommend connecting power (as in a battery charger) to the jump points under the hood during the procedure because of current draw. Do you think this is necessary? Thanks again, I've subscribed, and keep them coming!

Hey man np and yes pretty sure the oil life reset is available in the ccc I just don’t like messing with it and would rather use the software but I’m pretty sure you can do oil life resets just not inspections and what not. Also it shouldn’t be a problem to bleed the coolant without the battery on a charger just make sure not to have a bunch of other stuff turned on that would cause an extra drain on the battery... the only time I have found that I really need the car on a charger is when I’m hooked up to the car with external software and spending a long time looking through data or trying to do smg resets and what not but for just the coolant bleed you should be fine. If you have anymore questions just let me know.

Can also use the car’s electric pump to purge, pretty easy to do as well. Great videos though!!!
