Air purifiers are meant to remove pollutants in the air that cause allergic reactions, that's why it will still smell almost as strongly as normal, if not the same or even stronger, because it isn't meant to remove smells, just the pollutants.
The problem with android tablets is that there are a lot of them that are just awful but they are cheap and you figure if you're just going to watch UA-cam on it then it should be ok, but when they can't even do UA-cam out of the box with the version of android they shipped with then it wasn't worth the money you spent on it regardless of how cheap it was.
unless its a big brand like samsung your better off buying a 2 or 3 year old refurbished ipad its gonna be a way better experience. even the ipad 6 is pretty useable still if you just want to consume content write documents and take notes with the apple pencil
With most products you get the most value-per-dollar around the middle of the bell curve, products at the far left will net you a piece of crap; products at the far right are heavily affected by the laws of diminishing returns. Either extremes are not a good idea if value is important.
the Aldocube T804 is like 130 bucks and is incredible. Hilariously, it is 4g capable and has native phone and SMS apps - so it can actually serve as your phone. I had an extra sim and though it would just say no, but it texted and called like it was a normal phone... just an 8.4 inch one.
I have the link buds and use them all the time. They are great for listening to music at work as they do not interfere with ambient sound and are light enough to leave in even when not actively using them. The sound is natural and open. If they fit in your ears, they are awesome. I use the 1000mx4 for immersion and noise cancelling, the linkbuds for when I need to be aware of my surroundings.
Linkbuds were great when I worked where I needed to just always be hearing what's around me. Sadly the battery is shot on one. Going to get another pair though. And yes for proper immersion I use something else. And edit. Yes I'd leave them in all the time even if not listening to anything.
Agreed. They are for specific cases. When you want to hear your surroundings. When you can't wear a standard IEM. I liked mine for use at work where I need to be able to hear my surroundings and for phone calls. And they can be paired to my phone and my work PC, at the same time.
I always go for Shokz for that same reason, have music while you are at work and not ignore the world. I do hate it that reviews mark them down for "noise cancellation" in their total score.
I use them constantly because sealed ear buds drive me nuts because they make me here my internal body sounds. Plus as a parent, it allows me to listen to my audio books or music while doing house work and still be able to hear my kids and wife if I'm needed. Once you do the ear profiling, the sound becomes way better. I absolutely love them and are the best wireless open-ear ear buds around. Especially since wireless open-ear ear buds are impossible to find outside of the apple ecosystem.
I have the Link Buds! They are good for hiking safety. When coyotes, Javelina, rattlesnakes and random strange people on trails in the middle of nowhere are a concern, then it’s important to be able to hear your surroundings. This allows the option of both. They definitely aren’t perfect though. 👍
on the topic of optiplexes, due to my work (e-waste) there are a lot of companies who buy the salvaged desktops(that arent completely ancient) from us and end up skinning them. part of the reason is competers that get returned from some big business, government or school organizations often put a lot of stickers on them, and sticker removal and age really does damage to the case, so the sane choice to make them look "new" is to put a skin on them essentially.
Certainly beats the work hours that goes into prepping for paint and even then you'd still see scratches in the paintwork. Also if there is any grain in the metal and you have to sand it, you will end up with flat looking spots.
Those Link Buds are great for specific uses. Like jogging or bicycle riding, so you can still hear traffic and people around you. Not so great for a bus or airplane. I've got something similar specifically for when I'm riding my bicycle, but I think they are around $15, makes the music quality much easier to deal with! Great for poscasts though, where sound quality isn't so important.
I got the linkbuds after you guys reviewed them about a year or so ago. I was looking for some headphones for phonecalls and podcast while biking and they sounded like a safer choice when out in traffick. I pretty much agree with everything you say about them here, but for podcasts and audiobooks theyre perfectly fine. Call quality is fine aswell unless its windy. I will still say theyre worth it if you bike and value safety over sound quality though. 7:55
As someone who likes to use their earphones at work to drown out potential harsh noises, but still need to listen to the outside world (I'm a service engineer), those linkbuds would actually suit me.

If you're on an ultra-budget you can throw a Xeon 1230 into those Optiplexes and get i7 speeds, just no integrated graphics, bang a GTX1050 in there and wa-hey you've got a midrange, can-handle-2016-and-back AAA games at 1080p gaming rig for around $120 if not less.
One thing that I found out with most cheap tablets is that it does have an SD card slot. But is useless. Because you can't move apps from the internal storage. Because they are using a modified version of Android operating system and that was removed from the OS. It is the same with cheaper smart phones also.
I'm just saying. And this comment is late, I know it. But if I were in the market for a tablet, I'd want to skip all of them and go directly to the biggest iPad, no compromising on anything.

I actually really like my linkbuds lol but I totally understand the rating for your review. Like everyone is saying, it’s great for outdoor activities when needing to hear your surroundings is preferable.
what is up with digital cameras / web cams / cheap phones and saying they are 4k when they look like 720p at 30fps? Are they just upscaling the shitty quality footage to 4K or does it actually have something to do with the sensor? Like is it possible to have a 4k sensor that looks THAT bad?
I own the Sony Linkbuds and I love them! I drive a bus and need to make phone calls/listen to podcasts while driving and they are perfect because I can hear my audio and my surroundings! They are light and comfortable with decent sound quality. I do prefer my air pods pro sound quality but I can't wear them while driving without losing the safety. Definitely have a neish market of people but 100% worth it for those people! 😊 Plus I paid $55 for them in the target clearance section!
the link buds serve a purpose. I wouldn't want them as my only set, but when you are jogging, biking, working near a road or in an office setting they allow you to wear SOMETHING vs nothing. You really can't compare them to other earbuds on sound quality alone.
The scuff pillow is meant for you to put your elbows on it when you lean forward and play your games. And its quite common for people to do that....i do that when playing shooter games.
The Sony Linkbuds are good for people who want listen to music while riding a bicycle. You can listen to your music and hear the traffic around you at the same time.
I had a digiland tablet from Best buy that I think cost me like $70. It was horribly slow and couldn't do much besides what I bought it for, to stream media. Although I had to use a Bluetooth speaker with it (already owned) as the built in speakers were terrible and it used micro USB to charge which was kind of annoying as every other charger I use is type-c. If it wasn't for the wrist rest on my mouse pad I'd do away with my mouse pad and just use my desk as it's pretty cool for people to ask me how my mouse works without a pad on glass.
I have a cheap glass mouse pad from amazon. The surface has a honeycomb pattern etched into it and it's been great. Smooth glass would be terrible though.
I used to play on a glass table, my mouse simply had a laser sensor, rather than an optical sensor. Light sensors (optical sensors) reflect off the surface to track. When you use glass the reflection is distorted causing no tracking. A laser works regardless
I got the Samsung 6 lite tablet this black Friday. It was very cheap and wasn't bad at playing UA-cam at all. Need to buy a case that acts as a stand before it's great but it's not a waste of money for sure.

The link buds are hands down my favorite earbuds. They're absolutely unmatched for ambient music, especially at low volume, which is 90% of my music listening experience. I have a second set of headphones for the other 10% when I want to detach. I think they're misunderstood, which is a shame because we'll probably never get an updated version. I'll have to keep mine forever.

You wouldnt recommend the link buds to anyone? I've only used openback headphones for the last decade, these sound perfect for me... Alas, I doubt they'll fit.
The Link Buds are definitely a middle of the road product, you're going to either like them or hate them. I have a pair myself and love them because they're perfect for the space in which I use them: an office where I need to be able to hear my phone, codes over the loudspeaker and my co-workers. They're also great when I go out shopping at the store and the mall for the same reason. I think this was Sony's original intention for the design, people that commute on a train or work in an office and need to hear what is going on around them. I would never trade them for something like the other Sony LinkBuds, Samsung Galaxy Buds or Apple Airpods because their "transparency" modes kind of suck. A small microphone piping in sound from the outside world to your ear will never replace your true ability to hear unless you have eardrum damage.
As a user of Both Linkbuds, I completely subscribe to this opinion. There are times and places, where no other option makes sense for me. Those places are the office and going for groceries, Jogging or biking, where complete isolation is more a hindrance than a feature. As a main pair of earbuds, of course, they suck, but as a secondary pair, for special uses, they are top tier. Obviously a Niche product, and should be trated as such.
lol that Polaroid camera is like the mixer that my parents bought off of Amazon literally not as advertised. In the advertisement for the mixer, it says it holds up to 12 cups but in reality when you have it in your hand, it says holds up to 8 cups on it but it’s advertised for 12 cups lol. Now I put my detective deep thinking hat on just like Austin and I zoomed into the picture of the container for the mixer and it says 8 cups, but then in the description it advertises as 12 cups. Oh lord somebody help me because my brain is going into overtime with how dumb this is and this product is reviewed around a 4.5 star rating and it feels cheap as hell
That youtube burn in on the z flip 3 is crazy. How much youtube did they watch to get that and even weirder is that they seemed to only watch youtube in portrait mode, who does that!?
Those 3020 Dells are getting too slow for web browsing right now on Windows, let alone gaming. Workplaces are tossing them to salvagers and these "refurbishers" buy them for nothing.
Dyson vacuum cleaners have always known to be expensive so it doesn’t surprise me that if they came out with headphones, they would be over minimum $300.
My ears start hurting very fast on normal in-ear headphones. Linkbuds never hurt, they feel comfy. Sound is obviously worse than a sealed one, but it does what its supposed to do. If I wanna hear better quality music i can do that with another headphones.
It's been a long time since I've watched the main channel. I normally watch " This Is" with Austin and Matt. I stopped watching the main channel for a while, as I am not a fan of ken, and it seems like anytime there is something he is interested in during one of the shows on the main channel, it's like he inserts himself into it and starts trying to take over. That's why I haven't subscribed to his channel. I don't necessarily have a problem with the guy, I just don't find his commentary entertaining. But I like some of the new shows that are showing up here on the main channel, so I'll start watching again. I really like the mystery Tech.
9:20 amazing if you have problems with your vision! They can be used with a screen reader and OCR while still being able to normally interact with everyone
Air purifiers are meant to remove pollutants in the air that cause allergic reactions, that's why it will still smell almost as strongly as normal, if not the same or even stronger, because it isn't meant to remove smells, just the pollutants.
You'd need a good charcoal filter in it.

You can at lease be comfortable in the knowledge that those headphones from Dyson are at least well built but not worth the money they cost
Theyre out there selling a 3020 with a 4th gen intel based system. Wonder if theyre letting people know the system is 10 years old.
lol that Polaroid camera is like the mixer that my parents bought off of Amazon literally not as advertised.
“No one cared who I was until I put on the vacuum”
Bane voice: "No one cared who I was until I put on the Dyson headphones."
Best Buy is the adult’s toy store.
I thought that was sex shops.

Austin, if you wear that cactus shirt, you're required to wear a cowboy hat, preferably white. 🐮
Good stuff. But why Hyundai tab?
Austin needs to do the worst reviewed products at microcenter
Those 3020 Dells are getting too slow for web browsing right now on Windows, let alone gaming. Workplaces are tossing them to salvagers and these "refurbishers" buy them for nothing.
I paid $250 for that desktop around 4 years ago....my god it's so slow 😂 But it works.
I call bull on the Dyson sound quality.
Without the purifier they sound pretty damn good
They are essentially open backs 9:03
"Can i smell things while my nose is fully exposed"??? Damn ,boiiiiiiiii...😂😂
Austin Evans is a my Best Buy plus member confirmed
It's been a long time since I've watched the main channel. I normally watch " This Is" with Austin and Matt. I stopped watching the main channel for a while, as I am not a fan of ken, and it seems like anytime there is something he is interested in during one of the shows on the main channel, it's like he inserts himself into it and starts trying to take over. That's why I haven't subscribed to his channel. I don't necessarily have a problem with the guy, I just don't find his commentary entertaining. But I like some of the new shows that are showing up here on the main channel, so I'll start watching again. I really like the mystery Tech.
That glass mousepad is legit one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.
Like just take any piece of glass and have someone cut it
I bought an AMD Radeon RX 6700 from Best buy once, not a bad budget card at all, it could play rdr2 at Ultra settings no problem
The blow up pillow is just like a boppie!
9:20 amazing if you have problems with your vision! They can be used with a screen reader and OCR while still being able to normally interact with everyone
damn, right time, left lick
That Hyundai tab looks like it’s straight out of a car infotainment system, BY HOW SLOW IT IS.
The issue is the sensor. 16:34
You can use mouseball mice for the glass... because everyone has one of those still! lol
