I do love the drastic steps you take. I know at my age there is a good chance that I would not see the full progression of trees like theses. In the future maybe you could take older trees from nature that when styled look closer to completion, and I know there is no such thing as a complete bonsai it’s always in progress.
Your comment kept showing up even thought I thought I replied a couple of times...strange.
At any rate...start now so you won't regreat you haven't started them a few years back. It is not hard to live byond 90, even 100 these days. 🙂
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience for free ❤️✌🏽
You are welcome
I'm keeping an eye out for random seedlings popping up around my home! No Pines but I see a couple interesting trees I may try to pull out later! Thanks, Milton! :)
Have fun!
As always, you give me so many ideas for my garden trees. Thank you for these videos my friend!
Most landscape material can be made into bonsai
@@MiltonChang we’ve exchanged emails, and I know it isn’t a traditional bonsai, but a lot of my garden trees are definitely inspired by your work.

I need to start planting some trees in the ground. Field grown trees are awesome material.
They are!
i inherited a very sad pomegranate bonsai that has been leggy and misshapen. it's been challenging trying to determine the best course of action to improve it, but seeing the measures required to start these pine on the right path has given me more confidence to make a few drastic revisions to the shape, and remove some larger branches that interfere with the flow of the trunk. thank you for sharing.
Good luck! You can do it!
