I did not create most of the assets present in this scene.

This looks amazing! It's inspired me to try out a low poly environment in UE4. I'm looking forward to your next video :)

Yeah, of course!!
I actually come back to this video frequently for a reference point on my low-poly models I make.
Though you did not make these models, the execution of how you brought them together brings me powerful insight as an artist to learn how to build my modules for tileable, limitless use.
If you have a moment to answer a question: *What is your least favorite thing you find in many premade packs? How could artists improve upon those issues?*
Thank you for your time and your content!
@@yourzombiemop8259 I guess lack of documentation if the pack is heavily detailed and need a lot of knowledge to understand the whole things. But it's pretty decent for most of the assets I used in the past. Now as a content creator myself it's something very hard to tell. We try to focus on how to make stuff modular as much as possible keeping a good quality of use with the better design.
@@StephaneCharre
Alright, thank you! ^-^
I'll keep that in mind in the future and devote a bit more effort into ensuring that all of my content is streamlined and well-documented.
This looks so much like a paladins map
Are these elements found in the engine or did you make them yourself?
This looks like it could be a map in Team fortress XD
Amazing bro!!! this will be used in a game ?
Nope, It's only a short scene ;-) But you could if you wish
hi. where do you find the model pack? Are you modelling yourself or you find as ready set?
I love this style of graphics. But I need to know, did you model these peices yourself, or did you download them somewhere?
I did some which are not present in this scene. Assets in description.
Alphα thank you
How did you make this water?
I love Synty Studios j
Why didn't you bake the lighting? You added a skylight but you never get to see it because it is set to Static.
How did you take objects from out of screen?
Second montior w/ unreal editor? How do you set that up....
Edit: I think you can just move Dialogue boxes to 2nd monitor.
yyup!
If you want to further increase the size of your viewport, you can even move the Modes tab to the top, then slide the divider up.
Great content btw, subbed, love how creative and unique the videos are.
Yes I know, but I prefer this viewport configuration. Thanks and welcome!
Thats the Knight pack by Synty Studios, isnt it?
Indeed
great job !!! did you modeling props?
I did not. But I've worked on a personnal windmill -> www.artstation.com/artwork/KQBnR
Have a good day Sir.
Can i ask if you used references to create that windmill? I have the skills i need to create even the most complex things if i copy them, but cant seem to make things from my imagination at all
You should use Artstation ;-)
It look like a normal map in project spark .
RIP PROJECT SPARK
Wait are you the Alpha that did the Rhen Var map in Bear Force 2?
Yup 😅
hello, can you show us how to achieve this kind of lighting?
Lighting?
can someone tell me what a good pc to have to do this much modeling? that can run unreal or unity with no problem?
I think anything that meets the minimum system requirement
Are these assets available from the store or are they all custom?
The ship has been modeled by myself but you find all the rest on the ue4 marketplace. Search for "POLYGON MEDIEVAL PACK".
Dude, could you tell me how you got those painting materials in? Like Grass, Stone and Dirt.
Sure: the terrain mats are just uniform colors created inside ue4 and you can find more lowpoly assets in this pack : stormgs.com/low-poly-universe/
Much appreciated! :)
You're welcome ;-)
Modular environments result in huge draw calls in unity how to control that can anyone tell me
Gather all textures in one or multiple sets. Or assemble small pieces like walls, windows, doors in one asset. This is how you gain performances.
The design was really good, but for some reason the scene is look too static despite the water is waving.
I mean like, the grass, the tree, the boat, even the flag is frozen there. It just feels... Weird.
Joshua Lorenzo I agree, look the new one. Its way more animated.
Hello Alpha, we are an indie games studio that is currently working on a battle simulator game similar to totally accurate battle simulator but much more complex. Your work looks great and meets our standards. It just happens to be that we are using the same assets on our projects. Our question is would you like to work with us on our project War&Honor, we really need a world/environment designer and creator. Thank you for your time.
Hello, Can you give me a contact and more informations about your project ?
contact: polybytestudio@gmail.com
Idea:
We are making a physics based medieval battle simulator. You build your army and then compete against other players. We aim to make a fully random experience with your choices changing the outcome of a battle. That is the ground information of our project as there is a ton of features to go over ex. destruction, tactics, weapons ect. If you could exchange your contact with us we would love to talk about what we plan for the future of War&Honor :)
polybytestudio@gmail.com
Alpha you have been sent an e-mail about the project, you should check it out ;)
Yup, already answered.
For better result untick - Motion blur
Ah yeah :)
I wasn't really that good in PP at this time. I shoud do better nowadays ;)
your pc config plzz??
Added in description.
Alphα thank you
can you give me this models?
Those assets are available on the ue4 marketplace :-)
Alphα OK thanks
Please, can you send me a link of the marketplace?
look at the description

its joke this guy is good modeler/mapper
I do high poly modeling and im pretty good with normal mapping and texturing I just have no motivation to do anything right now i need to find a new job
@@SaidMetiche-qy9hb
Hey, it's a random person 2 years later.
Did you find a new job? I'm dying to know.
How is this game design? This is only meant to be viewed from one angle, not very game-like. (not targeted just at you btw, all of the videos like this one confuse me)
Yup, speed level design in this case just show off a particular scene. Not really game ready.
