So, this is, probably, the Club Pacific Cebu resort before owned by an Osmena and sold to the Lhuilliers. This seems gonna be the exciting resort in Cebu in the years yo come. Good job Rob for showing this to us.

Hey Jose, I saw that, it's crazy. I remember way back watching a Cowboys game at their stadium once and it was snowing. Back when Emmit Smith was playing. I thought that was mad to snow in Texas. Thanks for the comments. I'll try to send some Philippine sunshine over! Cheers
@@jasonism123 I have, but it was just after it reopened after quaratine. They only had 1 restaurant open and skeleton staff. I felt i couldnt give a proper review yet as i havnt seen the place when it ran normally. I plan to go later on in the year when (fingers crossed) the resort is back to "normal".
So it was a rocky beach that has been artificially reclaimed to what it is now. I'm sure it's gonna be even better in the near future as they continue to develop it. As you stated, that family is well-endowed with virtually unlimited resources so turning it into a world-class resort would be a walk in the park...or rather a walk on the beach for them (pun intended). The rooms are very attractive and spacious, especially with all those wood appointments. I agree -- layout / landscape is nicely done. If it's expensive now, wait til they're fully operational and the country opens up. The sand looks kinda beige and not white on my monitor. Is it white or beige / darker?
Probably a light beige colour. Depending the time of day with harsh sunlight it can look slighty differnt and plus the camera's colours are never perfect! It was little rocky to one side of the beach with the other side being more sandy. The resort since I uploaded my vid has a Facebook page and website facebook.com/elmarresortcebu You will be able to see latest updates there. It's moving ahead and the future looks good for this resort.
Thank you for finding this place and posting unbiased reviews. I'm looking to buy a place somewhere north of Cebu and this maybe a selling point :) It is a beautiful resort but the price is too high. We Canadians can go to Varadero, Cuba for a cheap 7-day all-inclusive vacation for less than C$1000. Same nice beaches for a lot less. Waiting for normalcy but at this point, I would pay the premium just to be at a beach. I can only watch you with so much envy :)
There are some nice places around. I'm not all that familiar with property market, I go as a tourist. I've been up north the last couple of weeks staying at different resorts. I will be showing other beaches around here. The last resort I stayed at (I'm not sure what type of property you're looking) but they were actually on the market to sell. It's called Maravilla Beach Club - it's a small 8 roomed resort and the owners live in a house to one side on the beach. If that's something you may be interested Google the resort.
Very nice ! this resort has a big potential. I love the twin beaches it reminds me el nido. do you know if there will be properties for sale inside the resort subdivision. can you make a review of Kandaya Resort in the north of cebu.
Nice video Rob were planning to go there when we have free time with friends.... Its not far from our place its just our neighboring town somewhere in Sogod. We need a barkada room good for 6 pax in an overnyt stay. Very nice place.
You can contact the resort via Cebu Safari website, just ask about El Mar Resort, or under the video I have put contact numbers to call the resort directly if you want to book a room. Cheers

I wouldn't necessarily say it's the best in Cebu but it is a good resort. It all boils down to what you like out of your stay and that can be subjective. I try to show the pros and cons of the resorts I stay so viewers can see what appeals to them. I've done some videos on resorts in Daanbantayan and Bantayan Island which you may want to also look at.
The sandwitches looked sad.. but the place is gorgeous
It is amazing. BTW they do have a FB page now and website facebook.com/elmarresortcebu

I think you're right. I never visited this place before but there are some legacy buildings from some other resort here.
Another excellent find Rob. This place has plenty of potential. Thank you for the very informative article.
Cheers mate. I'm checking out a few resorts here in the north, hopefully I can get some more uploaded in the coming weeks. Take care.

@@FindingParadise awesome. Have you visited Dusit Thani? I'm not sure if I've seen it already in your uploads.

Maybe the casita room. The resort will be able to advise best options.

What a beautiful place!
I didn't understand how much to pay for a room?
Thank you for your great work and good luck to you 👍🍀😁

nice & long clean beach.....
Yeah it's a beautiful beach.
Nice one mate!
Cheers, it's a great resort, you should check it out when you have the chance....
didn't know that el mar is that beautiful
it's probably how you presented it that makes it beautiful
Awesome review...! Anything happen there at nights? eg. Live music?
Not at this stage... I'm sure it will come. Not sure if they do on special events.
Nice Rob
Cheers, it's a great resort! Very beautiful.
Hi. I was looking for the private driver’s contact information in the description. Do you still have that information and can you provide it?
Jeh 09662718616. I used him last time
Nice
Yeah it's a nice place. You planning on going?
Just out of curiosity, where is your accent from? New Zealand or Australia? I'm in North Carolina, but originally from New York and New Jersey.
It's an Aussie accent.

Beautiful resort
Yes it's gorgeous!
Hey there, are we allowed to fly a drone in that resort?
When I made this video i was. Things do change though. It's best to check with the resort directly.
Is this the best resort in Cebu? We plan to go to cebu for the first time so I am researching for the very best also kid friendly
Are they open this summer?

Do you have an idea if alegre beach resort will open?
No news. I had a look when i was there. It was all closed up. If it ever reopens it's going to be long time.
It was a nice resort...why did it close? Do u have idea?
Not sure, but i know it did get damaged by yolanda.
Thanks
Sogod is so good........see what I did there Rob? I'm going 👌
Brilliant job! Try to do the same with Mandaue City now! 😉
How much r the rooms? I dont know how to reserver there
All the details are in the video.
Can anyone use these beaches or do the resorts own the beaches?
no its private resort
How to get to commute
If you want to use public transport you will need to catch a bus to Sogod then tri to the resort
thank you pls give us room rate
They had updated rates on their FB page. web.facebook.com/elmarresortcebu/photos/a.249434393545588/408252484330444/
Got it saved on Google Maps. Now if these travel restrictions would go away, the wife and I will be able to move.
Yeah that's the next problem! Just keep in mind you have to pre book this, they don't accept walk ins.
Omg
Not natural same as landscaping
I would put it as enhancing.
