- 10.3@134 is just INSANE but that's exactly what BMR suspension pulled off during a remote track side support session. The car performed great out of the gate with a 10.51@131 but we were on standby to review logs and send updates. That rewarded us with better and better ETs throughout the day ending up with a 10.32@134 pass! We ran out of time and there is still a lot to do on Project Darkhorse so be sure to check back here and at @BMR Suspension for updates!

@@dougpullins1215 you guys need to do your research. Cam only ls1 gas been 9s. Bolt on ls1 has been 10.6. These times are old and I'm sure can be improved upon.
My own bolt on ls6 street car went 10.7@130ish. A friends bolt on c6 ls3 went 10.5@132. Both had plenty of room to grow. Neither was gutted, neither had race brakes, both had full exhaust no open x bs.
Are these custom grinded cams from comps cams or off the shelf cams ?
How does that huge tube header work on a 302 normally aspirated motor? Awesome runs. 👍
thinking you need smaller headers on an NA setup to 'preserve torque' is old school thinking.
Thanks for the amazing tuning support PBD. If it was easy like people say, everyone would do it. Takes all the right parts and the right team to go this quick or quicker in these cars - this is just scratching the surface. Stay tuned.

Is the light in the bottom of the bumper a reverse light?
It comes on during staging and made it look like it had a transbrake.

Considering you are starting with a brand new car, this project isn't for the budget minded.
Still to run 10’s with that little bit done is quite impressive. We used to have to stroke the old Fox 3’s and add power adders to touch 10’s.. These newer Mustangs pack insane power

Should be close to a record? Low tens and over 130mph.
Steeda has gone 9.90's with more MPH but they're well on the way.

@@rfor7471 This is just a normal GT with some engine mods and slicks. There is nothing special about it. If my car would have to look like that to do a 10.3 i would honestly be super disappointed. Sure if it was a 9 car i would look a lot better. Not much skill involved either in this one.
Right... so you would spend 140k to go 10.7, be the same as every GT500 out there and supercharged mustang. Not many NA mustangs in the low 10s

Pretty sure I’ve seen BMR post the weight at like 3360 or so and that was before the tubular k and aluminum driveshaft and aerospace brakes went in.

Personal preference, race class, etc. Also, no belt slip, pulley changes, extreme heat soak/under hood heat, no $10-$15,000 spent to run low 10s to mid 9s during the winter/spring and then half a second or more slower the other 6 months of the year.
