The only time you leave on three is using honks (and even then technically you leave AFTER the third honk, not on top of). Just use the flashlight method and you'll have a lot less redlighting.

Also coyotes are bigger physically heavier and have a much worse power to weight ratio and torque to weight ratio. I like them don't get me wrong it's something different but an ls will give better results. Look up the 1100hp LS NA drag racing corvette, truly special, 7.3 v8 revving to 8500rpm. All motor, if u can find me an NA coyote making that much I'll be impressed.

I've built quite a few different engines, and those two are the most evenly matched. -- I don't really like building coyotes because it's a fiddly process, especially timing and putting the valve locks in. That said, they sound awesome, so that usually makes it worthwhile. -- If I want a lightweight NA deal, the LS is the way to go.

Honestly, if you sit in a ford or chevy and you then sit in an AMG there is a world of difference. The design, the thought and the execution is far superior in a Mercedes compared to a Ford or Chevy. Ford/Chevy are good for what it is though; cheap thrills and hp for the $ ratio; but if you want luxury, performance and style - there is nothing coming out of a Ford/Chevy plant that can remotely compare to an AMG Mercedes. Even rich Americans know this; hence why you mostly will never see them in a Ford/Chevy. You will see them (i.e. rich Americans) in an AMG or Maybach or something German or European most of the time.
This coyote was beast and so was every other car shown here. I used to think all motor was cool but boost is where it is at. I would never waste money on an all motor coyote unless I was cool with like 500 whp tops beyond that it gets really expensive for small gains. Coyotes were developed for boost from the start and do really well on it. GM LS and new LT engines are great as well.

Much stiffer chassis and far superior suspension design than a old Foxbody/SN95. (I own all 3 platforms) Also one of the most aerodynamic cars there are. There is no surprise whatsoever that a Fcar with a H/C/I LS3 swap can hang with or beating a built N/A Coyote S550 which is a hugely overweight Mustang. Hell a max effort stock bottomend LS1 Fcar should beat or at least hang with this car. A max effort stock bottemend LS1 is a 500+ WHP car for a knowledgeable builder. Maybe even on 93 octane. With equal gearing/tranny/traction/driver advantages a Fbody should walk a S550 HP for HP unless the Mustang has been put on a healthy diet and the Fbody hasn't. If this outcome surprises you and if that Coyote is built then take the LS3 in that Fbody and build it. I'm not talking about just doing topend mods. Throw a 4" or 4.125" crank in it with some good rods and pistons that you'd had made to match up with your topend and run them again and see what happens. The old Fbody platform would really surprise you.

It’s beating much lighter vettes. The camaro had to go full on Honda status swapping a much bigger motor into a older much lighter chassis.
