At almost $3,700 the Samsung Slide-In Induction Chef Collection Range has a steep sticker price but impressive performance and lots of style. - Наука та технологія
I've got a Samsung induction range. It ROCKS. Bought a set of "Cooking Channel" stainless induction pans @ Kohls. Am VERY happy with it's performance., and I cook a LOT. Fresh baked bread, roasts of all kinds, soups, stews, desserts, great breakfasts. This is totally worth it to people who LOVE to cook! Best of all, after the stovetop cools, all it takes to clean ip is windex & a paper towel. Gas ranges annoy me as keeping the stovetop clean is a PAIN.
does it continu rocking today?
how is it 5 years later
I just bought a new house, new to me anyways 2002. and it has this oven in it but it's 2 years old, you can get them now for about $1500
With the starting price at 3,700 i'd be expecting that thing to have a 2 4k camera that can shoot at 120 mbps 1 in the inside and 1 at the outside.
I purchased this oven > yet to be delivered but purchased this in Canada for a lot less than $3700.
What brand of cookware are you using? I'm trying to buy the most appropriate flatware stainless steel cookware for my Range.
It's beautiful. ♥️
and comes with a built in camera!
I wonder if it runs touchwiz
Why is the oven door glass so dirty?
The most exciting this is his Moto 360.
At least it doesn't run TouchWiz
Lol 😂
neat... just wish i had more money
It is expensive... But I'm sure more than a few comments where posted using a 1k or close to 1k phone.... 😁
smart comment
Gas or elektric
Hmm maybe best for home, not chef restaurant kitchens. As a line cook most burners I worked with get a lot of abuse I doubt this top can handle 16+ hrs a day. I world like this at my house tho looks cool
Can i warm my tortillas in that moufuker??
Jay Lopez 😂
Sowwy Pehdro no toeteeya
I have a problem with temperature while I’m cooking!! So I set temperature at 350f when I put the food in the oven temperature it go down to 300f and it take time about 15 minutes to go back to 350f , I got 2 oven thermometer inside!! Is it normal ?? Because I contract Samsung they said it’s normal!
Anything that's colder than the oven can likely drop the temperature in the oven a couple degrees, its similar to when you have a boiling pot of water and top it with some fresh water.
I have to say though, it going down 50 degrees is pretty drastic but it might just have to do with how the oven heats up
@@coolmacncheese there's a fan in there to make the air around so when you open the oven door the heat might escape faster than typical ovens
Price has dropped to 2400
We purchased this unit in 2015 with the 5 year extended warranty-thank god! The stove works wonderfully, the interface is very user friendly, the oven works perfectly. The high heat self clean function works great too until it burned out the two right hand top burners. Samsung was useless. 4 months waiting for parts. the warranty came through with a buy back which we took. 1,000 to fix two burners with no warranty. Stay away from this appliance
you just steered me away from it...samsung is garbage it seems what it comes to home appliances
I've had my eyes on an Samsung induction, but everyone that's had issues agrees that Samsung customer service is absolute trash.
My microwave was 55 dollars
That interface looks horrible.
It's the upcoming Android 6.0 called Cook-ies
+Mr “Tech Geek” Awesome Marshmallow bro, marshmallow.
Disappointed that the blue LED flames are in the front 120° only and not all the way around. In an entertainer's style kitchen, guests on the other side of the stove cannot see them.
In all seriousness, who would buy a smartphone made by the same manufacturer that produces ovens?..
You know Samsung made appliances even before they start making smartphones.
I own this exact Range. Recently discovered it consumes 180 Watts IDLE (!) That's 130,000Wh / month assuming you never use it. I'm sorry but a range that uses over 1,500,000Wh / year idle is completely unacceptable.
That’s 1500 kWh which Costs around 225 to sit around all year if electricity costs 15 cents
this makes no sense
Good luck getting parts when it breaks down. No customer service.
The stove is pretending it’s gas with the blue lights. I will just keep my real gas range.
Except induction cooks better than gas
ALL WOMEN SHOULD GET THIS... [hahahahahaha]
How does it feel to be the guy who started world war 3
lexx zigy against feminists and non-feminists? non-feminists would win the war
jessejames! F all feminist! feminism is just an excuse to divide both genders
Yeah but the man who obviously is paying for it doesn't want to spend 4 grand on a cooktop.
Induction sounds like a good idea but in reality its a pain and not to mention expensive. Gas stovetops are still the best, instant heat and visibility on how high you have the temp. And Samsung shouldn't "promise" chef skills...being good in the kitchen takes practice and willing to learn. Sadly, some people don't have that.
Tim Young how is induction a pain?
martinshoosterman Paying the cost for it for one thing. Just in my personal experience gas stovetops are the best. I don't know why anyone else would want anything else.
Tim Young so basically your argument is its expensive and thats it? you literally said its a pain and expensive, then I ask how its a pain and you tell me because its expensive. so your original comment is basically its expensive and not to mention expensive. in the long run it uses less energy so its cheaper to use, but for the cost difference itll take to long to make a difference. the main thing it its safer for use at home since after you take the pot off its not hot anymore. and easier to clean since you dont need to wait for it to cool down before you clean it.
Tim Young Yes, but induction is far safer......In developing countries, they don't have gas lines, they use heavy gas tanks. Gas leaks, explosions and related deaths are not uncommon. In places like India, single induction cooktops (not an entire range) can be bought for about $40 bucks and above. That's incredible.www.flipkart.com/home-kitchen/kitchen-appliances/induction-cooktops/pr?sid=j9e,m38,575
+Tim Young I own this particular model and love it. Easier to clean than gas or conventional electric, a lot more powerful than gas - yes it boils much faster than gas by a factor of 5, and also much better heat control in the complete range from simmer (low temp) to boil. Safer than gas and electric and much more efficient as well. These have been used in Europe for a long time, and they are catching up fast here in the USA. I hope someday people can afford them - they are worth every penny. Again, the performance is far superior than gas in all aspects. Should try it.
It is a very expensive GARBAGE. My range brokedown after 2 years only and Samsung does not provide solution. Look in Internet for SAMSUNG E-84 and you will find many users with the same problem.
Gas is the best.
