Many of the van lifers I used to watch have all settled down and bought property and built their homes, which they share on youtube. I watch some of them now because I've been watching them years and years and after a while it just becomes more like a reality show because you want to know what's happening with people that you have come to really care about just over youtube. I actually had my 1 year vaniversary about a week ago. full time as a student and summer intern, a bit different than as a nomad. I totally understand caring more about the person who gets it than the total amount paid. I went down on my price by a lot on my old rig just because I loved the gal that was buying it. I wanted to see it being loved and dreams being chased and achieved with it!

Just wanted to say that I’m doing van life as a college student! In my opinion, a fortune of cash is a lot better spent on a van than rent! Both routes are expensive, but one of them buys you an asset :,)
Currently six months into building out my first van! Went on a trip with it partially finished for ten weeks, am now installing electrics… similarities are mad, I’ve got the same medium roof medium wheelbase transit, solo female, 200W solar on the roof same fridge and B2B charger etc… I get why you were so sad to sell the thought of me parting from my van at some point can just make me spontaneously burst into tears!! Can’t wait to watch the truck build :))

It's a bit sad when you have to sell your lovely van but I'm glad that you will continue your journey and not going to drop out of this channel. You’ll have fun building out a new rig. Whoever buys this is going to be very lucky to get one that was built by someone with a woodworking background and all of the electrical and water and heat and stuff already taken care of. If I had the money I would totally scoop this up. Change is good.

Enjoyed watching your series so far, put it on my 2nd screen when gaming after work to relax and see what you have been up to each week, which has been fun to watch. Hope you get a good price on your van. I could never live in a van without a fixed shower and toilet personally and more space long term. My first buildout is going to be a Ford Transit 2023 350 Extended. It's just nice to have that room to separate spaces and fit what you want in. Curious to see your new build out with your next van, I prefer those videos as personal interest in them and your life building will be very different than all the travelling of the last 2+ years.
Do you know what your next base van will be? Get at least 400w Solar on the roof and air con for living space. 4WD may be needed in a heavier van. Prep for more extreme climates. Go taller and build a bed in roof space loads more room in slightly bigger van.
Trelino toilet is the same toilet I have…… I don’t use it like a compost in toilet though…… I use it like a bag toilet and just replace the bag each time so it stays clean …… I like it a small square easy to fit in the small places……. And the one I have has a pretty good size number one jug But I use it like a bag toilet 😎👍
What a great documentation of the history someone is going to have who purchases your van. Whenever I buy used guitar, I would always want to know some history behind it specifically with the person who had it before me. Good luck with everything.

If your battery has 100Ah and 12V its 1200Wh. If your lights draw only 10W, your battery would last 120h (5 days). With the fridge and no sunlight/driving it will be dead in 2 days. Love your videos!

It would good to get a jump pack for emergency jump starting if the battery got low and the mini solar panel that plugs into cigarette lighter and charges the battery through the cigarette lighter. The mini solar charger is small enough to fit on the front dash. A guy know had the solar charger. Another had the thermal charger and the make large stove thermal charger folds up, both can charge electronics through thermal conduction and it produces electricity.

If your battery has 100Ah and 12V its 1200Wh. If your lights draw only 10W, your battery would last 120h (5 days).
With the fridge and no sunlight/driving it will be dead in 2 days.

It would good to get a jump pack for emergency jump starting if the battery got low and the mini solar panel that plugs into cigarette lighter and charges the battery through the cigarette lighter. The mini solar charger is small enough to fit on the front dash. A guy know had the solar charger. Another had the thermal charger and the make large stove thermal charger folds up, both can charge electronics through thermal conduction and it produces electricity.
