Our youngest son & his family moved back & are taking over the farm. I wish we could get back on the road, but due to health reasons probably won’t happen. We miss hanging out with y’all I try to watch/listen to all of you guy’s videos while I work. And try to hit the 👍 if my hands are semi clean 😜

Now that is a Chamber of Commerce who knows how to get the most out of their historic town. Fabulous ! This is a tourist stop without it being 'touristy'...charming, and welcoming, but not over the top tourist type. I love it ! THANK you for sharing.
I Stayed for 2 weeks at Vultures Peak Arizona land trust in spring of 2023. It was great boondocking spot. Thanks for doing a tour of Wickenburg it is a nice town.
I’m going to Doral in Miami. My niece has a big thanksgiving w 40+ people. I try to go down every couple of years. Her mother my sister is gone. So I go to give her some love. She makes a big Turkey & Ham Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and dressing. Plus 6 homemade pies. Everyone else brings one or two side dishes & desserts. After dinner everyone gathers in their huge living room and watches ELF. The next day all the kids go with Uncle Rick to get their Christmas 🎄. Saturday evening we go to a movie after eating leftovers.
We will be alone, but it's ok . I made pumpkin rolls for friends and family. Plus. For someone that doesn't have much. Happy Thanksgiving! Bella says hi to pumpkin!

Back when I was a young adult, my mother's house was the place that all the folks went to that didn't have family around or a place to go. We would prepare everything over 2 days. It was a great time every year. This year and last year, I've skipped the work.
You seem to like those old historical towns. You would love Virginia City, Nevada. Your not that far from it if you're in Arizona. If you should go at sometime make sure you visit the cemeteries at the edge of town. There are 3 cemeteries. One for the Chinese, one for the ladies of the evening and one for the town folk. You could spend all day there. There's so much to see. I wouldn't take the RV there the road is pretty narrow, but your pick up is just fine
We’re spending Thanksgiving in Albuquerque, New Mexico this November because I have a doctors appointment that I have to be at on the 20th. So we decided we would stay until the day after Thanksgiving.

The Palomino’s in Coolidge is a Mexican restaurant. Pretty good food. It is just my daughter and I for Thanksgiving this year. Neither of us are very keen on Turkey and since she is on a new eating plan, we’re just having stuffing this year. It is both of ours favorite so we’re good with just that.
I live in Wickenburg try the ornery hog next time . And it is a river it rage’s during heavy rains . They’re several arena’s that has roping going on every day

What kind of tree was that statue attached to? I’m curious, you said the tree was 200 years old!!
It's a Mesquite tree. Some say the tree was used between 1863 to 1890, so it makes sense that it could be 200 years, but that is just what I had read.
