Yeah you we're tearing them up. Noticed you weren't casting very far where you were fishing...you could easily hit that sweet spot of the current break where you lure wasn't getting swept away in the current.
Be mindful of fishing in the rain. Louisville dumps raw sewage into the river anytime it gets even light rain due to its ancient sewage system. All that raw sewage hits the falls quickly and you can imagine the dangers of touching the water with millions of gallons of Louisville's poop and pee in the water. It usually clears up a day or so after the rain due to the flowing water.
Great video...I've never took time to really figure out the falls... looks like a ball when the water is right. I've fished under the RR bridge a time or two only caught one white bass. I'm going to have to try this area in the Spring. Tight lines.
haha I know the feeling, happens to me as well. Lot of empty trips for me trying figure out the white bass on salt river. Been on a streak lately though!
if u really wanna catch some of the bigger hybrids u need to get over there straight across from you at the duck pond wall or around the bend to the left across from the museum in the first slew when the water is at about 17 feet,17 feet at the first slew and 22 feet at the duck pond wall
Will have to try those. Thanks for sharing, watching, and appreciate the comments! Fishing was good this morning. Caught 7 before leaving for work at 8am

Can be hit or miss depending on how much water they are releasing. Thanks for the comment, and glad you enjoyed the video!
Might have to try using the freaky franks to catch them. I use freaky franks for smallmouth all the time and tear them up.
They work great! The ones i used in video were the XL size.
Sweet looking fish!
Thx! ... and thx for watching!
that drum got lucky.. lol..
Haha yeah too many people pass on drum. Rodney Dangerfield of fish...they get no respect.

Nice catch buddy🎣👍🏼 Greetings from Germany🇩🇪'
Thx for watching!
I still have trouble fishing striped bass I would like you to give me some advice on how to do it there in the fall of the ohio
Several videos on my channel. Best time is spring and fall, and best advise is to learn the water levels and time on the water.
wish I have your luck. Can't remember how many times I went empty and back empty....

I like to use ugly stik too. Ha!
Love those things. Some pretty funny videos out there of people going to extreme lengths to break those things, lol. They are super sensitive too.
What size leadhead do you use when using the suction roughtail and Shop proof or used TVs white 6 inch grub tail in white
Depends on flow but usually 1/4oz, 3/8 oz, or 1/2 oz. 3/8 oz most often for me but its all preference.
What are the daily limit and size requirements to keep them?
You must follow Indiana (Ohio River) regulations.

eric mulvihill I need tips. Lmao I’ve tried three times and only caught a carp. I was fishing up toward the upper dam.

Do you happen to remember the lower gauge hight that day you went? I hit it often when its 15 and below.
In the 20s and a lot of flow.
Im new to the area, is this on the Indiana side?
Indiana side. Thx for watching. I have several videos on the area, be sure to check them out.
How’s the Hybrid fishing in May/June?
May is usually great. I have caught good numbers in early June as well.
Shore fishing seems to be pretty good too? Or do I need a boat? Want to take my dad to catch some of that good fighting fish.
What kind of line were you using?
Blue Super Slick Power Pro Braid - 10 lbs
I use that on most all of my spinning setups in either 10 or 20 lb test.
i need some fishing lessons lmao
Yeah, I wish I knew it all, lol. I learn something every time I go. Love to fish!
Hey bump. I was wondering if you would like to do a collaboration with me? If not it's OK
Shoot me a DM on Facebook. We're both members of some of the same fishing groups so I should be easy to find.
