- This is how you defeat Balio and Sunder in the prison of Wyndian Castle. It really doesn't matter if you win or not,because you have to go through the graveyard(Sorry I don't remember the name of the place) either way. If you defeat them you get 110 XP.

You can also hit nina with your weakest attack or the attack that does 1 damage to wake her up. It will cause them to flee sooner.

This is needed so much for Beatrix in ff9
her initial smugness definitely merited a pimp slap, but moreso, she needed to become a permanebtly playable character once she had a change of heart. her story really seems like it could be expanded upon, especially since she was not completely heartless, appearing to love Steiner
From what I remember she was supposed to be the paladin for the party but would have rendered Steiner completely useless so they decided against it@@kgrfirdjy
@@kgrfirdjy Always kinda bugs the hell outta me when RPGs introduce these "unbeatable" characters; yet, whenever they end up switching sides & joining you later, they always seem to either- A) get hit with the nerf bat BIG time ( _Lookin' at you, Garr..!_ ); or, B) they just spend the rest of the game standing around doing nothing...
Hell, in Beatrix' case, given how much they hyped her up, she could've probably SOLOED Kuja if she'd just bothered to get off her sorry a**..!
So they CAN at least be made to flee in the second battle? Who knew?

Usando game shark até dá pra vencer. Se procurar no youtube cê acha um vídeo. Mas derrotar eles naquela primeira não muda nada, só que cê ganha uns equips que nem sei se prestam.

You didn't beat them though. They can actually be made to run away. Actually defeating one causes the second one to retreat, similar to this. But from a legitimate stand point. If someone kicks you in the face a dozen times and then leaves. You didn't win the fight.

Gaining EXP and hearing the fanfare while your character is jumping up and down in this game means……. you won the fight.
