I know its a cheaper car but i expected it to not burn a quart of oil after 500-1000 miles, and constantly have something else break. Down pipe cracked, electric power steering failed, ignition went out, sun visors broke off, door actuators failed, syncros started messing up, clogged ac drain backed into the blower housing causing it to fail and almost catch fire on a drive home. There is just zero quality in chevys anymore. Dads Malibu is on its 2nd transmission, coworkers brand new Malibu just got lemon lawed, Mom's new impalla cups tires super bad, buddies older impalla ss blew up his fwd transmission after 60k miles, buddies trailblazer ss airbags went out and last week my cousins 2012 silverado with the 5.3l blew up.. still rooting out the failure and waiting on a lift. Chevy is total shit anymore, and shows zero quality.

I think it has more to do with the Coyotes running centrifugal to the ZL1 roots type supercharger. Just goes to show though, an old pushrod that revs to 6500 will run with a high revving DOHC no problem.

All depends I guess. I got my 19 zl1 with 8 miles on it for 50k (took a minute looking, but found it). Full bolt ons for a couple more grand, and sitting at 700+ rwhp. Ntm the sbe on a zl1 will handle much more than a sbe coyote, so you're getting that as well. Coyotes are no joke though.
Sure it does. The Stangs are not blown from the factory, and the 1.7 liter blower on the Camaro can make some great power. If the Camaro went 2650 sized blower, then the Stangs can do the same or go bigger centrifugal. The P1X can be upgraded to D1X, the Vortech can go to a JT blower, etc. Don’t hate. Both model cars are phenomenal. Chevy does it with cubes, Ford does it with monster flowing heads. 🇺🇸👍💪🦅

Take the back seat outta the ZL1 and you're not close to 3,250. I love my Vette. But if I was buying a new car, it's hard to beat a Coyote equipped Mustang. But it's not just the Coyote. It's GM, too. They're gonna end up in bankruptcy again if they're not careful. Hell, GM had to halt sales on the new C8. You can't buy one now until they figure out how to engineer a front trunk that doesn't fly open at high speed! Hasn't GM been building trunks for over 100 years? ALL these new cars are basically the car companies engineers trying to one up each other. WAY to much electronic junk in these cars. They work OK, most times. Until they get 40,000-60,000 miles on them.
