The stock blower is a very good unit to start with. In the end there is only so much air that can be pushed through. With proper engine mods the stock will hit its limit before the larger one will. Screw type superchargers will actually increase HP by lowering temps and parasitic losses just being a better air pump
Yet screw type blowers compress air and as we all know a by product of compressing air is heat. Also none of the 2.9 whipples are doing what the new 2650 blowers are doing. Yet the 2650 is much smaller.
These aren’t screw type blowers, which have male and female mating rotors. These are roots blowers, the rotor packs are a different design than screw types.

My friend has stock blower making 940, I just got my 2650 and it will make about the same power because that motor can only take so much. Only reason I got the 2650 is for a long run in case I get my motor work done.

Actually not surprised. Both cars were shifting like shit, Stock blower is AMP tuned and they are the best GM experts they know what they are doing.
Either one is tuned very well, or one is tuned very poorly. Neither can drive

A few people have made 900 with the stock blower. Ported of course.
The stock blower seems to have more torque down low but then it crashes and the 2650 pulls with hp
