  • In this video, I explain two main concepts that are really important to understand before writing your cold emails.
    These two concepts are:
    Demand Generation and Demand Capture.
Think about Demand Capture as if someone just woke up and said to themselves:
"Hum... I have this problem, I have to fix it"
In other words: an offer that somebody will buy if only they are looking for it.
And with Demand Generation, you want to think about it as if someone is just living their life and they just see something and they say to themselves:
“Oh, you know what? I do actually need to do something about this.
In other words: An offer you can create “demand” for it.
When writing your cold emails, you want to tilt them to the Demand Generation Spectrum.
You always want to lean towards Demand Generation when using Cold Email as a traffic mechanism.
    How do you do that?
There are plenty of ways to do this.
You can look for data that can trigger if they may need your services.
You can position yourself differently to stand out and get them interested.
You can do more and more volume to find someone who is ACTUALLY looking for your help.
But I recommend you to think critically enough to have ways on how your service can help a business to:
    Make more money
    Save time
    Save money
Then, you do your messaging based on the angles you came up with.
You also want to A/B test these angles to see which one performs the best in your cold email campaigns.
Either way, by learning to a) differentiate if your service is either a demand generation or demand capture service and b) understand how you can package your offer in a way that solves the most important problems that a company can have.
You are setting up to succeed in the cold email game.
If you need help writing up your cold emails, just let me know and I'll be more than happy to help.
    Talk soon,
    Samuel
