Since Incineroar absuses Intimidate, we should replace it with a different ability. I suggest Wonder Guard.
i suggest miracle guard, just like wonder guard, but the pokemon can only be damaged by splash
Incineroar should get Tablets of Ruin then!
😂😂😂
Unseen Fist 😂
Nah, an ability that combines tablets of ruin and vessel of ruin on the other side of the field

As absurd as that sounds so long there don’t absurd tech. It wouldn’t be half bad
@@Dr.J42yeah it would. I mean, he is good because he is the best support ever. If he doesn’t have anything to support, than he would be bad (just like he is in singles). I do think people would run 3 incineroar though. We already try to with Rillaboom, which is basically worse, more offensive grass incineroar (which is still amazing).

now I want to know exactly how much prize money Incineroar has been responsible for winning
Incineroar keeps in check all the funny guys who plan on just clicking their moves with ever-creeping damage numbers. I don't know what would we do in an uber meta without it
Isn't Incineroar a wrestling heel? If so, being overwhelming to the point of people hating it sounds very in character.
Yeah Incin is a heel, hence the dark typing
Yup. He's always been laughing at all this hate.
And I love the fact his OPness stems from "Why be first when you can be second." 😆
The best support of all time, truly the 👑
@@onebear6504 His typing kind of hinted at how crazy he'd be. Fire types generally are strong attackers and sweepers, and Dark types almost always have some form of support/utility moves. Combine that together and you get a strong damager dealer that disrupts the opponents ability to do damage
The problem with incineroar is that Tony the Tiger wants to sue pokemon because of it

It can run knock off into intimidate after a pivot, but it really depends on if you want to risk a mon dying, so will o wisp gamble to shut down physical damage pressure on one mon is a valid strategy.
Kind of insane how well Incineroar adapts the Wresting Heel persona.
You need a fire type? Incineroar
You need a dark type? Incineroar
You need a fake out user? Incineroar
You need an intimidater? Incineroar

Game Freak: whats that? The fire cat is on almost every team? Whelp! We better Nerf Greninja!
"And buff Incineroar while we're at it! It doesn't have enough utility!"
Seriously, is the same person responsible for this monstrosity also the guy who designed Zacian Crowned and Meta Knight in Brawl? After years of Incin cope, I realise that there's nothing we can do, so instead of trying to mitigate it, I think we should make the metagame even more messed up. Gamefreak needs to create a SpA dropping variant of Intimidate. Stat drops for everyone, baby.
Bro is a menace.
It was criminal that the intro bit did not had the line "It kinda looks like grandma" in it!

How long do you think it would take to play out the Intimidate animation on a billion targets?
I like it when something's broken not because it just blasts everything else to bits, but because its strategic power lets it bolster pretty much any strategy. Like Treasure Cruise.
Incineroar on his way to have crazy high usage stats every time it becomes legal
I like Incineroar's design (the fire-dark heel cat is just a fun concept) and I think it's neat seeing a starter pokemon be so dominant in competitive. Of course, I am a complete casual that doesn't even play ladder, so I don't have to experience the effects of dealing with it either.
Incineroar is Mahoraga from JJK, it will not stop ADAPTING. The GOAT of VGC!
Don’t be silly, incineroar has intimidate not adaptability
I really love the fact that his brokenness isn't even because of some WTF power, he just rolls with "Why be first, when you can be second" and just supports any broken mon before moving on to the next xD
Nintendo: “Oh, so you need a mega incineroar that doesn’t need a mega stone, understood”
The crazy part is, i don't think we should nerf Incineroar. It has an insane movepool full of supportive options but it's, for the most part, a pretty healthy presence. I like to refer incineroar as "the bullshit ender" because it and mons with redirection is able to snuff out any stupid gimmick BO1 might throw at you
Yeah it's really not OP if you actually play comp VGC. It's not something format warping like urshifu. It's actually a saving grace because of how splashable it is as a glue mon.
I feel the same way. Yes, there would probably be ways around the more painful presences and strategies without it, but it would be way harder and take more Pokémon on a team to fulfil the roles for. He might be the most centralizing Pokémon to ever centralize, but Incineroar's role compression actually frees up more team slots to allow for more unique Pokémon choices and strategies, as well as making things a lot easier in general.
Still think intimidate should hit one opposing pokemon on the field rather than both.
I like that Incineroar checks a lot of stupidly strong pokemon
The epitome of "Why be first when you can be second".
Incin isn't even busted like breaking through effing protect + guaranteed crits, or even a stupidly high power move without drawbacks but rather bonuses + awesome stats with a very blessed stat spread + an ability to further boost said move.
Nah, he's just there to support the big guy, then move on to the next bigger fish. Dark type fr xD
It's appropriate that the single best pokemom is in Smash Bros.
My uncle that works at Pokémon says that Incineroar is going to get a signature move, Fake Rocks, an entry hazard that causes switch ins to lose a turn like they’ve been hit with Fake Out. Also it can’t be removed. Idk sounds like it’ll still need a buff
controversial take: incin is healthy for the newer meta games. it keeps unbelievable threats in check and is basically the only thing that reliably checks (or has checked) xern, zacian, both calyrex and so many more. without it, vgc would be hyper offense and really centralized. correct me if i‘m wrong, but imo incineroar makes many playstyles viable that otherwise wouldn’t
I love my wrestler cat he was my pick before he got his hidden ability. Pretty sure he was a lot of people's picks before they got their hidden ability.
Feels appropriate for the 'Heel' pokémon
"There's no way Incineroar would make it in VGC. It's weak to Groudon's precipice blades, Kyogre's water spout and is neutral to Xerneas' moonblast"
Incineroar: "Nah, I'd win"
Incieroar is a prime example of how strong role compression can be. It fulfills multiple roles in a single set: Its decently Bulky, its a fake out user, it deals with Steel and Grass Types, its a damage controler, its a Pivot (even more importantly its a SLOW Pivot) and depending on the generation it can remove Items.
litten was always my favorite gen7 starter, so finding out about the competitive scene years later and learning how broken incineroar is makes me so happy

Incineroar was the first Pokémon I ever used in my first game of Sun, and as someone who doesn't play competitive, I love to see my boy absolutely slaying out there. And here I was playing my game with him using 4 fire moves and a dream
They should give incineroar a mega evolution and make its ability a combination of regenerator and intimidate
Itd be pretty funny
I feel like Kieran watches this video and got an incineroar in his team, bro’s out for blood
I find it funny how my two favorite startersare broken in some format
Blaziken was broken in singles while Incineroar speaks for itself in VGC
New ability just dropped for incineroar called “F*** You”. When incineroar enters the field, it drops all the opponents stats by 6 stages, sets up a belly drum, regenerates incineroar to full, sets up max spikes stealth rocks toxic spikes, leech infestation, burns the opponent, sets up desolate land, gives it sturdy and wonderguard, gives it stab on all moves, Huge Power, Good as Gold, Unseen Fist, Intimidate, protect never fails, neutralizing has for only opponents (but toggleable for regigigas), all items only apply buffs (ie choice items don’t lock moves), Harvest but 100% of the time, effects of mirror white mental herbs, regenerator bit to full HP, allows grass types to be hit by spore, all status can be applied on a Pokémon at all times, give opponents toxic, paralysis, sleep, freeze, frostbite, stops ghost types from switching, applies bind magmastorm whirlpool etc. able to use Z-moves on all turns without holding z crystal, tablets beads vessel sword of ruin on only opponents, friend guard, sets up aroura veil, multiscale for every turn, priority on all moves, makes all moves never miss, technician but works for moves up to 1000 BP, max evasion and drops accuracy of opponent to minimum, no EV limit, and why not, give it ball fetch.
Also sketch in its movepool. Very balanced
I always nickname my incineroar "Win-cineroar"
As much as I hate intimidate I’d say the best way to nerf Incineroar is to give it more competition by buffing other intimidate users
Yeah best nerf
I really like that incineroar went with the whole villain wrestler even in real life. They are opressive in VGC and like it, but they don't do it in a lame way, it's like they are a villain that keeps looking for ways to mess with the hero, while keeping things interesting. It's almost like an act that they are really into and that Game Freak doesn't really want to burst their bubble, and I love it.
💯💯💯
It's even said Incineroar being the super glue is the reason why so many mons are viable and it's not an Ubers only fest. The day Incin is gone is when everyone wishes him to be back xD
@@onebear6504 Incineroar being the hero by acting as the villain seems like even better, like he may not be the hero we want, but it's the villain we needed
@@ivancaravaca6680 Yup yup, the Incineroar lore goes deep xD.
Without him, the meta is super fast paced ubers of broken mons, but with him the meta is of teams that can work together with him or against him, Zamazenta's recent rise in popularity as a "hero dog that scares away the cat" being a good example lmao (well, imo just a matter of time till a Zamazenta Incineroar combo shows up though).
One can see Incin taking the role of a villain to grow the next hero, or that he's just having fun and ensuring his dominance is a win-win and like it or hate it u got no choice~
People : "Why do you like Incineroar? He's a fuckin' menance!"

I love that one of the greatest competitive Pokémon is a starter from 2 generations ago.
Wake up, babe, Moxie just posted his bi-weekly Incineroar video

Wait, Zamazenta is a good mon now?
Damn... Good for him honestly. He deserves it after getting so thoroughly overshadowed by his sister in gen 8.
A very good one at that to
What's funny is one of the main reasons Zamazenta is good is because it's the most reliable Mon that can ignore Incineroar lol
Just a matter of time till we see Zamazenta-Incineroar teams though lmao
After all, Incineroar is inevitable.
"Personally? I love 'em. He's super cool."
Wolfe Glick would like to know your location.
Removing Fake Out, Roar, and Parting Shot from its movepool would be a good way to balance it out.
Oh and Snarl too.
Honestly no just replace intimidate with another ability
Bro just said "Kill this cat" in 19 words.
Ah, 2020. I returned to the game that year with all my time at home. I saw your control team video and used incineroar ever since.
It's crazy how gamefreak traded knock off and close combat for parting shot on incineroar in gen 8, then it was overpowered, so in gen 9 they gave it knock off and close combat back and gave it helping hand as well cause why not

Three Pokémon I hate most:
- Miltank (sausage nipples)
- Incineroar (effing cat is too busted)
- Toxapex (bc of all the poison stall teams in Showdown)
Lowkey, Incineroar hate in VGC brings me back to Toxapex hate on Smogon. Hating a defensive mon
Love the fact that Incin isn't broken because of some busted gimmick. The epitome of "why be first when you can be second". He's just always there to support the OP mon, before moving on to the next 👑
@@onebear6504 Another thing about incin being broken is like it feels like none of it was intentional. Like they weren’t trying to make broken ass threat number 50000 like they are nowadays. Bro just happened to have every tool a defensive VGC mon needs

I think it's so interesting. A Mon that is so meta warping, yet at the same time is the glue that holds it all together. Reminds me of Gen 2 Lax on a smaller scale. Centralizing, but also manageable?
Blastoize : allow me to introduce myself
I AM YOUR END
Litten was my first gen 7 starter and Incin was my fav fully evolved mon of the three, it's just nice seeing one of your favourites being an absolute menace
Same thing here. I didn't know about the evolutions of starters. So seeing the little litten evolving into incineroar was something else. And when i came to know about it being the best mon in vgc it just felt satisfactory
how fitting for the Heel pokemon to be so universally acclaimed, and by many despised.
He's also a dark antihero I hear since without him being the super glue for various diverse teams, the meta is gonna be our beloved Uber Fest~
The day when Incin is gone and the meaning of it understood, everyone gonna wish him back xD
0:30
Drowned in pain, I lost my mind
There's no good or bad in there
Incineroar is the definition of the perfect Pokémon, if an offensive pokémon was op you can bring a counter, if a defensive one controlled the meta you can bring a wallbracker. but a supporting pokemon is impossible to fully counter, because you can just not bring him, because he's not your win condition if you dedicated an answer for him and didn't appear you're pretty much screwed. You need to fear and respect his existence, he is the one in charge of the battle.
Well, its not you can't counter a supportive pokemon, its how the mon is made. Amoongus literally loses a few moves if there's ever a grass type or held item in play, and it's not oppressive at all nor has the capability to shut down as much play as incineroar.
Another example is Indeedee, trick room helping hand support, can be easily shut down by another trick room or just straight up denying it from using it.
Another another example Pelipper for Rain tailwind setter, not very op, easy to shut down, and only threatening under some circumstances.
Incineroar otoh, has a perfect partner in crime with rilaboom who will always run fake out and uturn for extra fake out pressure, grassy surge to top it off on top of its way better stats.
If anything, Incineroar is OP, just not in the way we typically think it is. It's an OP enabler, not an OP tanker/Dmg dealer.
Incineroar does warp the meta around him, but i think its in a way like max c does in yugioh, its mere presence and ability to loom over so many pokemon that would otherwise be unstoppable, creates a more diverse meta, and as he fits into so many teams, he just gives more agency to express player skill, and preparation.
Counterpoint, stopping maxx c is as easy as 1 card and for most decks nowadays, they have plenty of outs to maxx c. And people on ygo are far more pissy when they can't deny you a chance of playing the game at all with 2 negates,1 omni negate and 2 destruction cards on field.
Someone should do the math on how much money Incin has actually made.
That would be actually dope
I love seeing this because he was my favorite starter for that gen.
Incineroar is also a fun character in Smash Bros
Gen 9 gave him helping hand too
I knew my funny little cat was destined for war crimes
I love Incin so much. I was so excited when I saw him in the leaks with all the Alolan starters concept art years ago before Sun and Moon released and he's one of the only pokemon in my favs who are actually genuinely amazing, no silly gimmick or minor niche, just actually insanely good. I feel like he will eventually get nerfed, but for me personally he could stay this strong forever and I'd never complain.
When I built my team for the climb to Master Rank, I used a bunch of Pokémon that worked well alongside my Dialga, but far and away the best pairing I found was my Incineroar, Mr. VGC, who basically is an amazing partner for _literally everyone on the team_ due solely to his support options.
He’s a Support with the moveset Flare Blitz, Fake Out, Parting Shot, and Helping Hand (so more offensively orientated, which works for my team). I have had a win happen solely due to Incineroar surviving a +1 Tera Fairy (was a turn one braindead play) Calyrex Shadow Astral Barrage, using what little health he had to pivot out into Dialga, allowing him to provide Fake Out Pressure on the next turn so Dialga could safely secure the game with Trick Room.
Dude is OP, but like, in a good way. Incineroar is basically a glue that holds together entire teams due to how versatile it is.
THAT INTRO 😂😂😂
You know what the bigger problem is with Incineroar? How do you even fix the problem if it even can be considered one. Take away parts of his kit and he'll find a niche. Introduce a better Incineroar and the problem gets worse. Introduce a Pokemon that can do aspects of his kit better but not all at once and people will still use him just because he could do a multi-role check. You just can't win.
As an Incineroar main in Smash Bros Ultimate, I feel a little biased when I say I love the funny fire cat.
I didn't care about Incin at first in Sun and Moon, I didn't necessarily hate his design like everyone else, but I also wasn't the biggest fan of it. But it grew on me, and not only is it my favorite Fire starter, but I use this mfer in Smash Bros. a lot. I love this stupid, wrestle cat, creature thing. Way before it even got Intimidate
Gen 9 also gave it Helping Hand, just in case it didn't have enough support move options available to it
I DIDNT EVEN REALIZE BRO WAS MEWING IN THE THUMBNAIL 😭😭😭
Perfectly balance in my book.
So, my first exposure to Incineroar was in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and in that game Incen *is* a one-shot machine, so I found the fact that he was broken in Pokémon for completely different reasons extremely funny.
The thing is that incin is the excuse gift fr gf for making power creep
Incineroar heard Jevil saying "I can do anything" and said "He just like me fr"
That Intro brought me life :)
Besides Ting-lu's ability(kinda), there's no sp.atk "intimidate" that competes for viability. Im curious if GF would put something like this in the game, either by a new mon or reworking abilities on previous mons.
Wolfey has made this exact video like 5 times lmao
They should give it wide guard, follow me, crafty shield and quick guard next
Ma there’s a stray cat outside get the galar-zapdos
Thank you being so kind all mighty loving God help me and help me and these people to better understand to you amnen
Incen the GOAT!!!! Been the GOAT since it introduction back in gen 7.
Incineroar may be the Heel, but he is the Hero we need against Power Creep.
Me forgetting Chien Pao vs Incineroar are cats. Them: you will suffer mortal
Incineroar's most powerful tool in it's kit is how deceptive it is. You don't really expect Fire to be a good defensive type, but it actually is the type with the second most resistances in the game. You don't expect Base 90 to be that great for defense, but with it's high HP and Intimidate, it is. You don't expect a Pokemon built like a bulky attacker to have utility, but it does.
The problem with Incineroar is that everything that you think it can't do, it can and does.
I think it needs more moves, maybe something like ceaseless edge
could you make a video on how a special version of intimidate would effect the game? (Lowers both foes spatk)
