- I stayed in a SUPER YACHT hotel! (02/04/24). Situated on the Royal Victoria Dock, Sunborn Hotels run the UK's only Super Yacht Hotel. It offers a luxurious experience like no other and it was certainly an absolute dream come true to stay the night there!

Great video. I've not stayed in this one, but I did spend 2 nights in the sister ship, the Sunborn in Gibraltar, in 2022. It was brilliant!

That was a brilliant film G. When you said you were staying on a yacht in your last film, I thought you were joking. What a beautiful vessel. Most of what you saw revthe bathroom and euro plugs, recycling bins is standard marine stuff. Vessels have recycling requirements as per the marpol regulations. I am going to book a stay in that yacht for my wife and I sonetime this year.

I have had a show around there. It is very good. There is a massive conference/movie space in the bow, the auditorium is ehat it is called.. The restuarant is very nice and the bar has views going back over the docks, from the open deck at the back. The upper floor rooms have a nice balcony. What would make it a little nicer is if thry landscaped the area in front of the yacht. You got a very good deal for your money there too. They have one in Gibraltar as well if you ever go out there.

I've stayed there and the shard, both beautiful places. But, the best feeling accomodation I've ever had was the converted Mk3 at Stannington pullman, next to the ECML. And I've no idea why!!!

Wow G, you are a lucky person staying in such a gold plated Palace on flowing water. Didn't know such a hotel existed, most floating hotels seem to be for asylum seekers only! Great stuff.

I stayed here once. The room was shite and the breakfast was a disappointment. Never again will I stay here unless I get a decent room and a decent breakfast.

A few months ago I stayed at the Ibis next door to the Sunborn yacht for about the same price you paid. Sorry Ibis but the yacht looks approx a billion times better LOL. Excellent vlog cheers!

My goodness, that hotel/yacht is quite something! That main staircase is breathtaking - I would feel so out of place there because it is so fancy, but I guess that's just me! What an interesting hotel.
Isn't it just! The staff were very welcoming tho so no need to feel out of place

Wow, that's a good price for overnight accomodation in that location, well done for finding that! The room with the layout and features reminds me of a cabin on a cruise ship, I did note there were UK and EU electrical wall sockets but no US style sockets. Also no bedside USB ports for charging mobiles overnight (suppose having a portable charger would do the same job). I guess when you fancy a break from trains there is a range of types of water transport to try out.. enjoy!
No Lucy? It is such a fancy hotel and one of the most unique hotel experiences in London that it seems such a missed opportunity to bring Lucy with you.
