Coleman AT125-EX TOP SPEED RUN, how fast will this mini-quad go?

  • While I was looking around on the internet, I had noticed that there wasn’t a lot of information on how fast these Coleman ATV’s can go. In fact, a simple google search for the top speed and it gives you a few rough estimates on how fast a a 110cc/125cc mini atv COULD go, but the numbers just seemed too low. So I had to figure this out for myself. I took the Coleman AT125-EX down to a flat backroad with no traffic, and got what is in my opinion an impressive speed for this little thing, 36MPH! Now, that may not sound all that fast but take into consideration that on the trails, this thing feels like a tiny rocket. I definitely want to get my hands on some more Coleman vehicles as they perform pretty well for the amount of money you spend for them!

    did you adjust idle at all or did you just turn the throttle screw?

    • @canadiantrailatv
      @canadiantrailatv  Рік тому +1

      We had to adjust the idle out of the box as it was idled a little high from the factory. I have it turned down in the summertime and turn it back up slightly in the winter to make starting & warming it up a bit easier.

    I see your is in KM my 6yo son has the same ATV but his is in MPH. did yours come in KM? also do you know how to turn the headlights off? we are in Ontario Canada as well.

    • @canadiantrailatv
      @canadiantrailatv  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, mine came set to KM by default. As for the headlights, I’m not sure. As far as I know they’re just turned on all the time if the key is on, and if you didn’t want them on just unplug them? I personally like that the lights are on all the time, it looks good and they’re plenty bright at night.

      I’ve had one of my buddies drive it that weighs in at around 215lbs and it seemed like it was doing fine. The bike squats a little bit, but we also currently have the rear suspension on the softest setting. You can adjust it to make it stiffer in the front or rear, depending on your liking.
