As a Dane, this is truly stange to watch. Denmark and Sweden in an Alliance is waaaaay out there. Danes and Swedes has always been enemies. First we invaded Sweden and took some of thjeir land, then a couple of hundred years later they invaded us and almost destroyed our capital and took a third of our land. Yep. An alliance at that time seems really outlandish.
ClinicalCynical An alliance at any time would be pretty outlandish. They just hate each other.
AMGaming I dunno these days I see Denmark and Sweden as two big brothers who fight each other constantly, with a kinship they won't admit and basically love to hate one another...but both can agree they had a real passion for beating up and taking their little brother Norway's things.
Oh, yeah. That's how I think every three-way country relationship works. The USA, Canada, and Mexico; France, Britain, and Spain; Russia, Germany, and Poland; all just a few examples.
I mean the Danes did offer Bornholm but at a point the swedes Refused to take Bornholm since of the Bornholm people HATING the swedes Even tho the swedes gave them stuff
Actually.. Denmark and sweden did fight together 3 times! And we kicked ass together, Denmark crushed the enemy fleet (cause it was the biggest and strongest!) Sweden crushed alot of the enemy land force! It was an amazing alliance together Denmark and Sweden would have won almost any fight back in 1600-1900 but you know, both Empires had to many loss on they armies at the end, and it ended bad! Today there is a pact that if one country in the north gets attacked! All of Scandinavia is gonna unite! Into the Kalmar union (Denmarks old dream and idea) and fuck the enemy up! And defend the north

Well, at least Norway was a part of Denmark in this period. In Norway we call it the 400 hundred year night. So I'm kind of glad Apollo made that "mistake" so that the Norwegians are represented :P Miss the Ski Troops ;)

A SWEDISH AND DANISH ALLIANCE!!! Its the most horrifying thing i have ever seen as a swede.
Arvid Bratt but it have happened 5 times... Once the Kalmar union was a thing... Denmarks idea, then some alliances cause we both hated FUCKING BRITIAN!!! And we won! But then sweden backstabed 40 years later! Britian took the Danish fleet (the 2nd strongest under britian!) and then Denmark was gone!!!! Then sweden was GONE!!! 20 years later... Kinda sad
