This Guy will do when Cooley is not around but please Cnet for the love of god don't put on that other guy or at least put it in the tittle as a warning so I don't waste time waiting for Cooley's voice
KevMack Olson I think that Cooley has so much street cred now that he could easily start his own channel and get hundreds of thousands of views. Hell, he could probably get his own network television show. Love to see him on Top Gear as a reviewer.
***** Funny thing is I didn't even know his name until you mentioned it because everytime I hear his voice I turn it off right away to show my point to Cnet that me and lots of other people agree that Cooley is the only man for the job, and that guy you mention won't get the same amount of views as Cooley. When there views go down they will lean Cooly is the man !
Good job on this video, Antuan. No, you're not Cooley, but you did a great job on the video for this truck. I honestly think Cooley would be proud. No, it wasn't perfect, but it was short and sweet without being overly thorough.
The only thing that I wish SHOULD BE STANDARD here on the Platinum - as well as on the King Ranch (the two highest trim) - trim is the bedliner - drop-in or spray-on.
danecroft21 Well no shit he did the first one, he was the only person doing car reviews when they started (and for the first several years). Antuan does the trucks these days, get with the program.
As others have said, Mr. Goodwin has really stepped up his game with professional, polished reviews. I remember when he first appeared, I considered him a bit of an amateur. I keep coming back for Cooley, but I enjoy watching Antuan.
Not only is the Ford F-series the best selling truck in America, it's the best selling truck in history. Also, it's the 2nd best selling vehicle in history. Over 34 million units sold since 1948, beating the VW Golf and Beetle. The #1 best selling car in history is the Toyota Corolla with over 40 millon units sold since 1966.
This is probably the first time I've watched a whole C-Net car interview by someone other than Brian Cooley, and I rather enjoyed it. Is it the same as watching a Cooley review: no. However, I'm all down for a change of pace and I have to say Antuan is doing a great job with these reviews.
Maur Ice Mr Cooley has said so in the past, and showed some of his his cars in various CNET On Cars episodes and Car Tech segments. Obviously, he keeps most of his collection in storage, not his garage. His daily commuter is a Ford Country Squire wagon, and he owns two of those. In episode #59, he featured his pride and joy, a 1967 Mercury Cougar.
+David C Schlesinger Yes, I'm aware of that. It was last year in episode #55. He's still CNET's preeminent expert on Fords, and does a better job at reviewing them than either Mr. Cunningham and Mr. Goodwin.
Today I test drove a 2015 Platinum and I gunned the accelerator pedal, a minute later the truck didn't want to accelerate in the highway 20MPH had to go on the breakdown Lane with the gas pedal all the way to the floor. After 4 minutes of driving the truck resumed it's speed. Is this normal is it something I should worry about before buying the truck?
Maaaan i wish we get these in australia,i want one, ford has really turned itself around in recent years. Cooley did the review for Golf. Yes Cooley is number 1 but Antuan is a good backup, no offense to Wayne C. & you we havent seen xcar team lately, wonder why.
48k miles later. I have a 2015 Eco boost F150 Platinum. Just spent a ton of money on the piece of crap. Leaving it in my driveway to slowly rot away. :
Pat Dow GM trucks have outsold ford on and off 15 of those 39 years if you include GMC's sales look it up, omg God Ford lied to make money they would never betray us like that LOL of course car company's lie to make money. And people like you fall for it I on the other hand do my research and found the truth so of course your Ford brainwashed thank goodness I refuse to trust what people say until I research it.
+LeatherandLuxury Cars maybe because this video crossed my eye and i decided to comment since when was it illegal to make a comment no matter how old it is lmao gtfo
Nicholas Villasenor Sync 3 requires all new hardware, so any previous model Ford vehicles will be unable to get it. In other words, it's only on their new models.
Wow compare this to Cooley's review: cnet (dotcom)/videos/2015-ford-f-150-cnet-on-cars-episode-55 and you will see the delta. Not mentioning it is the fist pickup with adaptive cruise is a big fail IMHO
Downvote for calling Ford Sync 2.0 horrible. Other car vendors like GM and other foreign have entertainment systems left in the early 2000s and only Tesla really has a system that has as much functionality as Ford Sync. It has problems with some voice commands, entering addresses is a little clunky and it is slow but it still is one of the best out there despite all that. The new Ford Sync 3.0 looks boring, plain, bland and uninspiring. They went for a completely different "clean" look but I personally hate it. It stands out like a sore thumb. A speedy system is great but they gotta make it look less generic and laboratory-like.
sicklight It's not "overly expensive" when people buy them by the hundreds of thousands each year. If you find it expensive, just don't buy one fully equipped. The base model starts under $26,000, a comfortably equipped truck will run you about $35,000 - $40,000, but that's before the massive incentives and dealer discounts they always stack on the hood, which often brings the price down by $10,000 or more. Before taxes, you can get yourself an F150 Lariat Super Cab 4x2 with the 2.7L Ecoboost, leather, back up camera, smart key, and more for around $30,000.
Antuan is getting really good at reviews now
This Guy will do when Cooley is not around but please Cnet for the love of god don't put on that other guy or at least put it in the tittle as a warning so I don't waste time waiting for Cooley's voice
KevMack Olson I think that Cooley has so much street cred now that he could easily start his own channel and get hundreds of thousands of views. Hell, he could probably get his own network television show. Love to see him on Top Gear as a reviewer.
Rickbearcat Cooley has more street cred than Ice Cube or Eazy E.
I heard Cooley is Dropping a mix-tape. Auto industry is not gonna like the trac "Ugly is included at no extra cost"
***** Funny thing is I didn't even know his name until you mentioned it because everytime I hear his voice I turn it off right away to show my point to Cnet that me and lots of other people agree that Cooley is the only man for the job, and that guy you mention won't get the same amount of views as Cooley. He's getting pretty good at reviews. Im starting to like him.
Good job on this video, Antuan. No, you're not Cooley, but you did a great job on the video for this truck. I honestly think Cooley would be proud. No, it wasn't perfect, but it was short and sweet without being overly thorough.
The Boss's truck.
godfatherNYC The King Ranch is.
lol this actually is my boss' truck.
+Stickyjalapeno both trucks are boss af i want both king ranch & platnium
Wow is Antuan's speech improving? His lisp isn't nearly as distracting as it was before. Keep it up man, you're well on your way to a solid reviewer!
I'm not a Ford guy by any means but damn this truck isn't bad. Take note GM and Dodge.
TJC450 They've been taking notes for years, hence why Ford sells over half a million each year.
The only thing that I wish SHOULD BE STANDARD here on the Platinum - as well as on the King Ranch (the two highest trim) - trim is the bedliner - drop-in or spray-on.
No Cooley :(
Jacob McCarthy You must be new here? Cooley rarely does trucks.
zunedog31 You must be new here. Cooley has been doing trucks. In fact, he did CNET's first truck review.
danecroft21 Well no shit he did the first one, he was the only person doing car reviews when they started (and for the first several years). Antuan does the trucks these days, get with the program.
Mr. Lisp hasn't done that many truck reviews. Cooley has done more than he has.
No Cooley? NO WATCH!
Cooley all the way
As others have said, Mr. Goodwin has really stepped up his game with professional, polished reviews. I remember when he first appeared, I considered him a bit of an amateur. I keep coming back for Cooley, but I enjoy watching Antuan.
The quality of this video is insane
I love Cooley but this guy did a good job, we can't expect Cooley to do every vehicle. Good job man
For a second I thought I was listening to "They Don't Really Care About Us", by Michael Jackson. Nice review. Antoine is getting better.
Nice Truck

Cause ford sells 1999-2003 f150 worldwide
Wow. this is is the first time I've actually enjoyed his review. And the moving part....so true. Makes me want to never have a truck again.
Everybody beat me to it. PLEASE keep these car videos for Brian Cooley. PLEASE
this ford truck is so cool i wish i lived in america to drive it, our road in the Caribbean are just to small for such big vehicles
I'm a Holden man but Ford have done really well with this Ute. They need to bring it to Australia, wouldn't mind seeing the Silverado either.
2 words ........ Brian ......... Cooley..... That is all
This is probably the first time I've watched a whole C-Net car interview by someone other than Brian Cooley, and I rather enjoyed it. Is it the same as watching a Cooley review: no. However, I'm all down for a change of pace and I have to say Antuan is doing a great job with these reviews.
This should have been reviewed by Brian Cooley, since he has a vast collection of Fords.
How do you know what is in that mans garage.
Thats what she said really works here @1:10
Am I the only one that can tell it's not Cooley just by the music at the start?
what options did you use to make it cnet style, where is all the b roll of the interior?
Today I test drove a 2015 Platinum and I gunned the accelerator pedal, a minute later the truck didn't want to accelerate in the highway 20MPH had to go on the breakdown Lane with the gas pedal all the way to the floor. After 4 minutes of driving the truck resumed it's speed. Is this normal is it something I should worry about before buying the truck?
Why doesn't this have the fx4 package too?
We need Brian Cooley back!

Maaaan i wish we get these in australia,i want one, ford has really turned itself around in recent years.
Cooley did the review for Golf. Yes Cooley is number 1 but Antuan is a good backup, no offense to Wayne C.
& you we havent seen xcar team lately, wonder why.
Xcar have their own channel here on UA-cam,
Hi, can someone tell me the name of the music at the start and toward the end? its so nice, sounds like a cool wild west music with a modern feel.
Where's Wayne?
@ 1:15 .....Uhh, sorry to say but the reviewer f'ed up bad. The Maybach S600 has six settings of seat massage for all four passengers.
somebody get this man a d-esser, a windscreen and 3 pop filters
Well not Cooley but much better than stubborn Wayne.
48k miles later. I have a 2015 Eco boost F150 Platinum. Just spent a ton of money on the piece of crap. Leaving it in my driveway to slowly rot away. :
What's up with these hour long commercials?
not last month it wasn't the best seller that award went to the Chevy
Yea last month. What about for the past 29 years? 😂
Pat Dow GM trucks have outsold ford on and off 15 of those 39 years if you include GMC's sales look it up, omg God Ford lied to make money they would never betray us like that LOL of course car company's lie to make money. +LeatherandLuxury Cars ur just a cry baby chevy lover
Jeffrey Horton Says the one commenting on something that's 2 months old.
+LeatherandLuxury Cars maybe because this video crossed my eye and i decided to comment since when was it illegal to make a comment no matter how old it is lmao gtfo
That bed extender seems flimsy... I'm sure it's optional though :o
Ford FTW!
what's the difference between the 4x4 and Fx4?
4x4 is basic all wheel drive. FX4 is for off-roading.
I stopped watching after he said "It is the most important car on the road today"
Better but still tough to listen to. Hmmm...i wonder CNET
Will Ford update the 2015 with the new Ford Sync 3 after it comes out on the 2016?
No the 2016 model will have Sync 3
Hhljhghhghh
Nicholas Villasenor Sync 3 requires all new hardware, so any previous model Ford vehicles will be unable to get it. In other words, it's only on their new models.
Dennis Xu However, you can buy the SYNC 3 system and put in your Ford, replacing the MyFord Touch System from a company that sells at about $1,500
I can amazingly say that I am the first comment, second like, and fifth viewer!
Isn't driving with tailgate open illegal in some states?
09Mrsubaru Driving with it closed will increase MPG anyways; As proved by Mythbusters.
danecroft21 How does that in any way answer 09Mrsubaru's question?
Rickbearcat Clearly it doesn't. I was just stated a fact about driving with a tailgate open. Many people don't realize it.
Whats with the step up? If you need one maybe you should be driving another vehicle...
Why get a mercedes? When you have all that luxury interior in a safe and big truck and it help you to move things lol
Wow compare this to Cooley's review: cnet (dotcom)/videos/2015-ford-f-150-cnet-on-cars-episode-55 and you will see the delta. Not mentioning it is the fist pickup with adaptive cruise is a big fail IMHO
E to the C to the O...
We have a black one lol
No Cooley no review
