I've put a lot of kilometres on my Hobie Outback it is truly an amazing fishing kayak, it has everything you need. I love the track system, and the ability of the pedals to go in reverse. I agree, Fogh Marine is very helpful when purchasing a kayak and they have a lot of experience to assist in choosing the right kayak for you. Enjoy the Outback!
The Outbacks are awesome boats. The new ones are almost like pro anglers but they steer so much better. They can turn on a dime. I haven’t tried a 360 PA yet. Not sure I would want the complexity of that system. Have an older PA, will likely be adding a Outback soon.
Trying to decide if I should buy a 2020 this week or wait a lil longer for the 2021 model hard to decide because I want to fish with one now but want to see if they upgrade anything since it’s going to be same price and released not to long from now

I have a holder that goes underneath the round rear hatch in mine. I think the rear is the best place because it is least used.
