The problem with Disney is there are too many chiefs and no Indians, there are a lot of studios that make great movies for less money. I spent the last month watching all the MCU films from Iron Man to End Game, and they are still awesome, Agents of Shield, all seven seasons and I still enjoy them. Lately, everything they have made has been horrible other than Deadpool and Wolverine and that was more of a two-hour cameo, really not much of a story, it's like Marvel is trying to fail, just burning hundreds of millions on reshoots and replay button is getting tied.

Don't overthink how Wanda and Doom go together.
Let's say Doom is from Earth 1964 (we'll call it that for the time being). There is no Sokovia. In the late 30s, he, Ben Grimm, and Reed Richards attended university in NY state. That means Doom was born just before 1920, his mother Cynthia Von Doom a witch from the same parallel Earth. That's how Doom knows of the Darkhold, which is all he needs to learn about the Scarlet Witch and the prophecy about her: from his mother. And Doom's emnity with Richards is established at university.
Let's forget about lucky online hacks and their "inside scoops" that are nothing more than educated guesswork and carefully selective safe bets built on leaked MCU photos from disgruntled VFX workers during the pandemic and just after. Stop enabling them. They didn't see Doom coming and now they look stupid. No cred.
Okay -- in THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS, Doom is MORE than a cameo but LESS than the main villain of the story. Doom is the inventor of the BASIS of all technology of the TVA. His greatest invention is the Space-Time Platform (seen in DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS and used by all Kangs in QUANTUMANIA). This is the device without which 31st-century Nathaniel Richards would never have time-traveled and created the Dynasty of Kangs and the TVA. Doom created this S-TP and used it to travel the Multiverse looking for a perfect reality. He learned the only one is that in which he controlled every aspect, but that the TVA prevented this reality from ever coming into being. With his device, Doom learned about his hated college rival's 31st-century descendant discovering Doom's own long-lost S-TP and using it to create the horrid Multiversal state of affairs every universe suffers under. So Doom blames Richards for this.
Doom seeks the Ultimate Nullifier to end the Kangs and the TVA. But Uatu the Watcher prevents this by aiding the Fantastic Four in FIRST STEPS. So Doom searches the Multiverse via his S-TP searching for an alternative. His travels take him to Earth-838. Doom encounters and battles the Illuminati, but during the fight, switches minds with 838-Tony Stark. Disguised as 838-Stark, 1964-Doom becomes the world-president of Earth 838 (hence the totalitarian "paradise" features it has and why Iron Man was missing from the Illuminati).
Doom (under the guise of 838-Stark) learns of the demise of the Illuminati at the hands of the Scarlet Witch. After discovering Earth 616 (the home reality of the Scarlet Witch), Doom travels there. Maybe we see him, as 838-Iron Man, save the day against the Sentry? On Earth 616, ca. 2028 (just five years after the death of Tony Stark and the Battle for Earth against Thanos), a weary and frightened world gives the keys of the Kingdom to Doctor Doom. Handing Doom complete control of the resources of Celestial Island, they allow him to build an ADAMANTIUM "suit of armor around the world." Doom secretly resurrects Ultron and enslaves it to his will. Then Doom multiplies thousands of Adamantium-shelled Ultrons as his Multiversal army. Next, Doom uses his S-TP to prevent the suicide of the Scarlet Witch.
AVENGERS DOOMSDAY: Incursion! Because of the presence of Monica Rambeau, Earth 616 is dragged hyperdimensionally to collide with Earth 10005. While Captain America Sam Wilson and Captain Marvel lead the New Avengers to battle 10005-X-Men, Doom convinces Wanda that both her destiny and redemption lie in obliterating the Dynasty of Kangs and the entire TVA. Backed up by an army of Ultrons, Wanda does just that. Her actions destabilize the Worldtree and pitch Loki from his throne. Endless Incursion events ensue. The Multiverse and Eternity are dying! Time is running out!
The story picks up with SPIDER-MAN 4 and DOCTOR STRANGE TRIUMPH & TORMENT, the latter of which ends with Doom claiming the power of ETernity itself becoming God and creating the heavens and the earth of Battleworld. AVENGERS SECRET WARS is next.

Obviously this isn’t the dr doom we all know and love because he’s tony stark 😂. Always gonna take some serious heavy lifting to make this satisfying TO real doom fans.
I don't feel like the Thanos and Tony Stark situation is very accurately described in this video. Everything about that whole Saga was extremely vague. There was barely any character development for thanos. His character was really completely thrown under the bus and that entire run. If I was Jim Stalin I would not have been appearing in one of those movies I just would have been super pissed off and offended and what they had done to my character. 4 over, everything about Tony Stark and his paranoia after the first Avengers movie was also extremely vague. None of the things we saw in Age of Ultron via the Scarlet Witch and her Visions really seem to play out on-screen in the following movies. Then when Thanos and Stark see each other face-to-face Thanos makes it clear that he knows about him but that's pretty much it. There's no explanation given about what he knows or why he knows it or anything else. Really crappy storytelling. Like I continue to be shocked that moviegoers thought these movies were great to begin with. The scripts were just really crappy the storytelling was just not great. This is why some of the most respected filmmakers through Marvel under the bus, and I have to agree with them. Their whole casting of Robert Downey Jr as Doom just feels like a whole new situation like what we've already seen. They know movie fans like the actor and comic fans love the character so they want to try and maximize their profitability based on those two things. That's it. They're not trying to do any Credence to the character. RDJ just seems kind of like a spoiled little brat at this point who gets as much money as he wants for being in a movie. The fact is we don't want to see his face if he's doctor doom. He should be wearing the mask all the time. There shouldn't be a bunch of times in the movie where he's walking around without that mask on until he becomes God emperor doom. Of course that won't be what we get. He'll be walking around with the mask off all the time to justify how much money he's making. All about money. Not storytelling. Deadpool and Wolverine was so great but this announcement really crapped all over it in my opinion. The Russo Brothers also are not great directors., and of course they would want to bring back their favorite actor to be in their movies. I liked Robert Downey Jr over the years in various movies but in this character it just seems like he has gotten really spoiled and it's not as much fun to watch on screen anymore. Infinity war and endgame were two of the worst movies I've ever seen. They're almost as bad as X-Men 3 and Spider-Man 3. 🖕🏻🖕🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I don’t really care for Tye Scarlet Witch all that much, due to the fact that she is/was way too powerful. Her power was unmatched by everyone in multiverse of madness and she wiped out the Illuminati within seconds like it was nothing. If they bring her back they need to tone down her power level so she’s not overshadowing Doom who is supposed to be the main big bad. That’s the problem I have with some of the female led superhero characters in the MCU
I would disagree with that. I think Wanda is a good person however she has been scarred by everything that has happened to her. As a result, there is a dark side to her due to the scars. Doom could trick Wanda into thinking he is good and offer to help her. Wanda is a mental mess due to everything that has happened to her. She has lost everything. Her family and the respect of her peers. She is very vulnerable right now.
This whole thing really sounds awful maybe a strong script saves these scenarios. Every report I hear it gets worse. At least it won't be Joker 2, I hope. Playing off the fact RDJ is cast as Doom as an emotional plot thread is too gimmicky for me. I hope they prove me wrong. Stil not a fan of the casting so maybe that's my point of contention
