I had to smile a little when I read "O2-joy" as the name of that one boss... Pretty sure it's no coincidence that it is playing in an opera and O2-joy is for sure a wordplay for "Ode to Joy", a passage of a very well known melody... Beethoven's 9th symphony.
I love how the animation for the 3rd boss is so smooth!

I have no idea why this was recommended to me, but Noitu Love 2 is a pretty obscure gem and a fun game, so I don't mind.
I wonder why no one talks about this game, or Legend of Princess, or Iconoclasts, or any other game this guy made.

I've played this game and it was a BLAST, if not a bit short. IT was still really fun, and I think due to it's length, I can easily replay it later. What does confuse me is... why does the third phase of the final boss not have a visible health bar?

This game is totally just like Bleed, and bleed 2! In bleed 2 you have a gun and a melee weapon and the graphics totally looks like this, the GAMEPLAY is totally like this the bosses are so similar to this, and also the other part where you get to fight a boss that is male in 1vs 1 with him if you defear him he"ll be you teamate and help you out, later next round you can use him. Anyway what im trying to say is this game seemed to be made by the creators of Bleed 1 and 2, most of all the game mechanics and the soundtracks too! I firsr saw bleed in gellots channel too, no damage boss battle, pretty obvious already XD

Also have you already done the bosses of the Megaman Zero games? (hard as hell once you reach 3... especially Phantom since his attacks are near impossible to avoid)
Edit: Phantom is somewhat easier when you have a certain Foot Chip on. (the one that makes you invincible while dashing)
I haven't played Zero games. Not yet at least.

I like the similarities to the Metal Slug series.
Side-scrolling bullet hell with various mechanized bosses, brightly colored cues/bullets, and dramatic antagonists.

hope is not to late. it's a very short game, but with extremely adictive mechanics, great music, fantastic levels and bosses, 2 secret bosses and an unlockable character with other story.
i should consider buying it

Well, they all were pretty easy.
It's just a really fun good looking game, doesn't have much depth to it but the patterns are awesome either way XD

I played it and even recorded some of the bosses... i don't know if I'll ever finish it though. It is difficult and I'm not very good at bullet hell games.
Most of these bosses looks awfully a lot like copy-paste from Contra Hard Corps.
Where do you see the similitude between these bosses and the Contra bosses?
Well, first boss definitely reminds me of Contra 3, where on third level there's a midboss of sorts with similar mechanics, while the boss at 25:12 feels like the Big Fuzz/Robocorpse boss, which also appears in other Contra games.
Sonic Son'edit Well of course! Joakim Sandberg has been one of the lead pixel artist in contra games like Contra 4 for the DS along with the legendary pixel artist Henk Nieborg. It's very obvious that you could see some similarities. If you are a pixel artist you can tell his pixel art technics in contra games.
