@@PezzaHando because I didn't realise until looking it up that hitting a tank side on in the tracks removes almost all of your damage in HLL which is pretty nonsensical. Tracks are only going to be ablative armour when they still exist, the armour behind them is just as vulnerable.

I read a book about the real Pavlov's house. It was more insane by far. When some german maps were captured , Pavlov's house was named "The Castle" due to its holding out ability.
I do wish for the Stalingrad maps they change the Panther into a Stug or Panzer III to make it more consistent with the time period. While I know the game ain’t going full realism I think small touches like that both help to immerse players in the game/setting while also providing good gameplay experience too

Not rifle shots fired in anger. *Of course the WW2 equivalent would be anti-aircraft or even aircraft-fired MGs/cannons, most of which just miss or sort of damage the fuselage without killing anyone, or tanks/artillery firing indirectly at a target area, or training usage

It could be argued that they did this to protect their IP in the wake of the growing number of fan animations that followed the success of Astartes. However, the fact that GW is launching their own streaming platform soon and even offered jobs to several fan animators who would’ve fallen under the new policy before looking to enforce said policy, makes the decision somewhat suspect. As far as TTS is concerned, I haven’t heard of them ever being contacted by GW at all, and the fact that the show is both an obvious parody and extremely popular amongst fans makes me wonder if they ever would have. Unfortunately, the creator of TTS chose to put the show on hiatus before GW attempted to contact him because a) he’s worried that, were GW to take legal action, the resulting litigation could financially ruin him (which is a legitimate concern), and b) GW’s shenanigans have simply destroyed his passion for 40k. So, in short, monetization was not involved in the events surrounding the hiatus, the creator put the series on hold to avoid any potential cease and desist notices, and GW is being ridiculous.

You’re mostly hitting the Panther’s front glacias in an early T34. Due to angling and such, the chance of penetration is low and Hell Let Loose doesn’t model internal spalling very well. Edit: The kill shot impacted turret ring and likely ammo racked the Panther. All your shots before likely disintegrated on impact or bounced up. Honestly if that Panther had hit you once the T34 would’ve gone up like a firework. Or not judging by that next clip. Apparently Stalinium, and you kept hitting front corner where the armor is thickest due to overlap.
The Kursk map is great. Was playing it with 3 friends, 3 of us had ppsh's and the last had a machine gun, and we were like a trench sapper assault fireteam just sweeping the German trenches after sneaking into their lines

I've watched documentary about Stalingrad. It was named after sergant Yakov Pavlov. He recived an order to examine the building of the District Supply Union that had good observation view on wast, north and south.Other sergants are helped to take that house, but it still got name after the on who start fight for it first. It was named like that by artillery squads by marking it on their maps. Paths was made under the building twoards nearest mill and house of lieutenant Zabolotnogo in order to keep supplies and troops coming. Watch documentary "Greate war. Episode 7. Stalingrad".
