So excited to see where you go with this! You've been really inspiring to me, especially through sobriety and I'm excited to see how you're going to grow your brand! You got this 💜
I completely relate to viewing yourself from an outside perspective. I do it daily and I think lots of others do, too. It's part of anxiety I think (at least for me), a part of having gotten so used to wondering how you might be perceived/what others might think of your behaviour that even when you're alone, the thought still creeps in. xx
I hope you didn't take my earlier comment as too critical. I'm basically hostile to any criticism myself. I can dish it out. But, I don't take it too well. I'm also a pessimist and generally kinda grumpy. I rarely look on the bright side of things. My attitude really holds me back at times. Successful people, and I know a few, all share similar outlooks. Basically, successful people are badasses. They're warriors with a high drive and they don't get side tracked by obstacles. They roll right over them. They're dragon slayers. A lot of them seem to take criticism very well as long as it's constructive. And, if it's not constructive, they still take it in, but use it as motivation to prove their doubters wrong. They also have great focus. They don't let static or noise or life in general get them off their track. They make short, medium, and long range goals and plow through and check them off one by one. They don't set themselves up to fail. They set themselves up to succeed. So, they don't put big goals first that they're unlikely to reach. They make lots of short term attainable goals and build on that. Working them into the medium and long term ones. So, I think you're a badass and I'm too smart to bet against you! People are hungry for all kinds of content. So, there is an audience for this stuff. Your story IS inspiring and I'm sure you've helped lots of people. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
For inspiring books I recommend Untamed by Glennon Doyle! If I remember correctly she also talks about sobriety in that one. It's very well known so I'm sure you've heard of it, but I really enjoyed it even as someone who is skeptical of the self help genre.
