I think it's very nice of people to suggest home remedies or different brands, but honestly, psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, and other conditions are all treated differently. A painless visit to the Doctor to identify the condition will save the patient a lot of money and time in trying expensive shampoos. Dandruff shampoo does nothing for my scalp. My dermatologist said that some conditions are actually skin cells that are replacing themselves too fast and cause the build-up. These images concern me because as the scalp is combed having such thick flakes should leave the new skin pink and raw and may even bleed. We have no idea what the condition is because the symptoms overlap. My symptoms worsen when I am under a lot of stress. It's very difficult to manage and I use several treatments. Changing them around seems to help so my scalp does not build up an immunity to one treatment. Right now I'm using avocado oil and sea salt for 15 minutes and then wash out. I also use a shampoo called Zincon (Amazon has it) that helps for a good while and then becomes ineffective. I come back to it later. Tar and salicylates do nothing for me other that make my hair smell awful. Keep that in mind that rotating shampoo may be helpful. I also rinse my hair with vinegar or apple cider vinegar and it also works great for a short while. Don't look for anything that will work all the time if you are diagnosed with an auto-immune condition.
This is beautiful hair, do not understand how the scalp could get like that. I remember when I was nursing my youngest he developed what they call cradle scalp which was some what like that at the hair line top front for awhile, and would be kept at bay with a baby brush and small comb. Thankfully it went away when he was weaned. So I think it was a diet issues?
Most babies have cradle cap. It does not regenerate like this once it's gone. In utero babies are covered with a thin waxy coating that comes off easily, but the head and hair and soft spot on their head typically dry with the waxy coating. A little baby oil rubbed on the scalp and let soak for a bit will allow a baby fine-tooth comb to scrape off the head. This has to be done very slowly and gently. It is not a precursor to any condition like this. It's very normal!
Most babies get cradle cap the top just like an actual 🧢 all that area gets cradle scalp. But this condition is called psoriasis and it's an auto immune decease there's no cure unfortunately but they got to do what they go to do.

Orrrrrr, go to a dermatologist and they can give you a SPECIAL shampoo ( I know because in my family we have dermatitis among the other skin conditions) to help keep it under control
My question is:!’How does the barber maneuver around the flakes and dandruffs when they get a haircut especially if they have that platter-size flake hanging at the back of the neck????

I have mild dandruff, it completely goes away when I cut my hair very short. Warmth of hair seems to make it worse. Don't know if anyone else finds this.

Nonstop lol .. I couldn’t stop touching it!

On the other hand if we keep digging in it wouldn't be like this
How much on the floor
I wanna say this is made up dandruff it comes off too easy and his scalp isn’t damaged red upset or anything
Yes i'm pretty sure it's wax
How though. None of it is on his hair
Nah, this actually looks like a real condition that causes excess sebum and interferes with the natural shedding of skin cells on the scalp.

He needs an anti-fungal cream. It would also help if you shaved off his hair and treated his scalp with the cream and then let his hair grow back in.
