That’s certainly dandruff/ dermatitis. Please educate yourself about this serious medical condition.
If it is so easy to comb out as the person with the comb is doing why can't the owner of the hair/scalp do it?
It's satisfying to watch but this is not real dandruff or dead skin. The scalp is perfectly healthy and clean under those flakes and you can tell by the flakes they are firmer than natural dandruff. This is product build up probably put on for the video purposes.

@@dorothysimon4808 it's real, I have the same thing a mix of psoriasis and eczema, dr can't determine yet. I've had the 2 years and it doesn't irritate me if I leave it alone, I only have it in once patch and very controlling with methotrexate medication.

Being an Black American to get you scalp scratched is very relaxing. When I was young my great uncles would pay me to scratch their scalp. I took my time my part was small, and I scratched very gentle. They would fall asleep while I scratched and played in their heads. And they was a mixed set of people, part natives, and white, and black. They had a good grade of hair.
What is a good grade of hair all hair is good.. only different is textures. .Ask any bald headed person.. ❤️

There is a reason for the good feeling you get when your hair is played with, that's from our roots as primates. They bond by grooming each other, grooming is incredibly important to their society, same as us.

This isn’t dandruff . What is it?
It’s caused by many thing’s too much hair products does it. Even chemicals in shampoo and conditioner’s. Sometimes too much dry skin where one don’t really take much care of their hair. Then there psoriasis on the scalp!!!! Learnt these from my cousin where she’s a cosmetologist.. Sometimes greasy hair does it too

I'm no doctor so I am not going to say real or not but can tell that under my flakes is a very reddish skin. There seem to be nothing wrong with the skin here so how are the flakes being produced? I just wonder.
Depends on how stuck to the skin they are. If they have successfully released but still need exfoliating, it could be very much real. I helped someone with scalp psoriasis and it looks a lot like this. @@kennethiversen8230

The hair is growing through it. If it was something placed on his head the hair would be under it
His hair doesn't even look oily to have that much build up on his scalp

This is actually a medical condition. My daughter has it. The medication that can control it is very expensive. I am very thankful for our insurance. Without it we wouldn’t be able to afford it.

Small flakes it can help, but big flakes like this its best to do it while its dry.
