Yeah, I have the Clubman Pinaud. It has a nice smell, and there's other variations too. I transfered mine out of that same bottle you have in the video, into one of the three new 8 oz perfume/cologne spray glass splash bottle I bought at the store for the Pinaud, and I noticed it smells even better (ie like it no longer has that added plastic bottle smell, and I can get a spray out of it). I noticed if you splash too much on your face with Clubman, it can be overwhelming so it's one of those you have to just put a small amount on. I mostly use Aramis After Shave. www.amazon.com/Aramis-After-Shave-Men-Ounce/dp/B0001B57TW/ Now, the big one in the USA is Brut. Some people love it, some people hate it, but it seems to be the big daddy of after shaves here in the USA that's sold in almost all the drug stores. In that big green bottle. I can't find Old Spice that much anymore...maybe at Walmart (in the USA)...about it. I find a lot of Old Spice body wash, that is easy to find, but not so much after shave or cologne anymore. Old Spice use to have shaving cream too but I don't see that anywhere anymore. I used Old Spice a few times in my 20s, but my relatives kept saying I smelt like my 80 year old grandfather at the time who used it...so I stopped lol so not to get that image. I noticed with after shaves, people use them or they dont. Like Ill here from friends/family "I use after shave...but I never use cologne" or the other way around of "I use cologne, but I don't bother with after shave". After shaves are especially nice if you want a scent, but one that doesnt last long because you're going into an enviroment or around people/social area that you can't wear a strong cologne/toilette scent at that time but still want a fresh smelling image. Like if you're getting ready to board a commercial plane for a long flight, and you don't want to overwhelm the three or more people sitting right beside you on a plane for six hours so you use a lite after shave scent instead.
@Besto Tom Old Spice and Stetson (the original scent of both brands, that is) are among my personal favorites, especially Stetson; Old Spice being a close second. Brut is okay. I've also tried the original scent version of Clubman (I'm open to trying some of their other scents, nonetheless). What I like about it is that old-school, barber shop type scent. In my opinion, those classics have staying power for a reason.

You have a tremendous collection of after shaves. All of them are really good. I like too many of them. One of my favorites is aqua velva blue. My son told me I thought you like expensive after shaves.thanks
Canoe was a favorite of mine in the 70's and 80's. Clubman is indeed similar (in the same ballpark) but has some opening citrus notes that I don't remember from Canoe. Canoe was also a bit sweeter. They were released about the same time so I am not sure who copied whom. Also, transferring the Clubman to a glass bottle improves its aroma. Some of the other Clubman variants, e.g. their bay rum, Whiskey Woods, etc. are worth a try.

I vehemently disagree. I love most Clubman products. Special Reseeve is not one of them. Super strong and it lasts all day, but to me it is not pleasant. The original Clubman is my fav and also love Whiskey Woods, Gents Gin, Bay Rum and Musk
I never cared for old spice, but I actually like British Stirling. I've tried many inexpensive aftershaves, Pinaud, Aqua Velva, etc. I recently tried the new Mennen and I feel that it's quite different from the original Mennen but not in a good way. I was able to purchase a bottle of Denim musk and I really like this stuff, smells great and lasts a long time. It may be my new favorite.
I'd like to try those --the one I have currently is Aqua Velva Icy Blue, an old fashioned scent...I don't know that i would like jovan musk after shave because I have the cologne but I dont like it (it came in a set of four classic scents---the other scents were aspen, gravity and preferred stock)

Now, about Denim, I have both EDT and aftershave and while aftershave is louder, stronger, EDT is much, much better, great longevity also about 8 hours, but more refined, many nuances not so one dimensional as aftershave version. Being old classics that were originaly bottled in glass ,they should stay with glass since glass does not absorb oxygen like plastic does....I reckon I sound too trivial but I don't imagine other frag makers are going to plastic ..
Especially Aqua Velva Musk. I still love Old Spice but the sweetened version of it today by Proctor & Gamble is no comparison to Shulton's original. Try the version from India and their Old Spice Musk from India. I'm more a fan of Brut Cologne than the aftershave.

I’m behind you about the “clubman”, this is what my Grandfather used it in his Barbershop. Can’t use it without bring my Grandfather back.
If you like Pinaud Clubman, try one called Coachman aftershave. I really like the Clubman but the Coachman is better. Excellent smell.

Aqua Velva, Gillette Cool Wave, and Skin Bracer by Mennen are great. Gillette's Aftershave is strong, the scent permeates the room, seriously

Pinaud Clubman and Canoe are quite similar. The Canoe is like an improvement on the old clubman, lasting much longer, and a bit sweeter.

Stetson after shave is very strong. i put some on face and get noticed from people in church.
