Osage Rub can be used for another very practical benefit. If you are working, say, outdoors in the heat - keep some in a spray/mist bottle. Get hot, spray in on arms, legs, neck, torso - it will actually make you feel cold for some time.
I have the Florida water. Not exactly one of my faves. The smell reminds me of an old fashioned basic soap brand called Castle. I do love the Osage Rub, Clubman, and Bay Rum. Just ordered Brandy Spice and Whiskey Woods from Clubman can’t wait to try them!
Will look into Hoyt. Thank you. Haha and I thought I was sufficiently warned before the first time I splashed on Osage Rub. Nothing can prepare you for the experience. Face freezing goodness!
Hey, KG! Oh yeah, Osage Rub on the face can be quite an experience. :) I think that of all the aftershaves in the video, Hoyt's is my favorite. Let me know what you think if you get a chance to try it.
I love the virgin island Bay rum. It’s unique and a performs like many of the Pinaud aftershave’s. Another really great bear rum worth checking out is PAA has atomic energy Bay rum. Excellent. I use the lilac vegetable, but that is definitely one of those. that can have an unpleasant scent for many people.
This is the first video I've seen of someone mentioning aftershave's more... Spiritual uses lol.. I remember one day watching E! (Back before social justice & lefts & rights, or cancel culture - specifically, it was Joan Rivers & friends critiquing that weekends red carpet outfits for some big artsyfartsy thing. Anyways, Beyonce's younger sister Solange Knowles had a big bottle of Florida water hanging at her side as if it were a purse... The hosts of the show were legit wondering what type of drink Florida water must be 🤦🏻♀️... I remember thinking "you'd probably have to be 21 years old to buy such an alcoholic drink" 😆 One thing I always try to get people to understand about aftershave's (I have a little collection about my bathroom shelves) is that, when WORN on the SKIN: THEY SMELL ALMOST NOTHING LIKE THEY DO WHEN YOU WHIFF FROM THE BOTTLE! One thing I find definitely magic about them is how the same scent can take a completely different aroma when it's on different people! I didnt care much for pinaud clubman or Florida water when I first whiffed em, but boy do I LOVE how they mix with my natural scent!
LOL! Luckily all these aftershaves are pretty reasonable (cheap) to buy. Someone just informed me about Caswell-Massey Number 6, which was the first American Cologne and George Washington's favorite! Apparently, many of our founding fathers wore it. I'd love to try it, but a small bottle of the aftershave is $50.00! Yikes :)
They keep messing with the formulations. There are Lilac fans that collect different "vintages" and swear the very early stuff is superior to the modern. I haven't had a chance to try a really old bottle of the LV.

Thanks very much for the tip, Jim, and thanks for watching!
This is a wonderful video. I use lilac every day. It is a good body splash as well
Thanks very much for watching, AC!

There are so many interesting aftershaves you can get from Clubman. The Brandy Spice and Whisky Woods sound interesting!
I’m using clubman at the moment. Nice video
Clubman’s always a great choice! Thanks for watching!

@@bikestrikesrazors Hoyt smells great! Tested the usual suspects without asking with good results. Thank you for the recommendation.
@@PowerInOne22 Glad it works for you! You never know with scents, but as I said, it's one of my favorites!

Hey, Jack! Thanks for the recommendations. There's really nothing like a great Bay Rum!
I’m sold on bay rum
Bay Rum is one of my favorites!

Can I do a splash test the next time I'm in Sacramento?
Certainly! Though you might want to smell the Kananga Water and Osage Rub from the bottle before "splashing" them on :)
The Veg!
Often repeated..."You don't find the Veg, the Veg finds YOU. :)
The Veg!!
Just what I needed, another way to spend money and tick off the spouse!

I used to like the smell of my grandfather's lectric shave Of all things. The formula has been changed and it doesn't smell as good.

It is very weak. Lasts maybe 10 minutes at best.
Interesting!@@@tedolphbundler724
I like Aqua Velva, it smells good, just wish it woukd last much longer though. Mennen skin bracer is also a good one to.
