thank you so much for watching!! what would you guys like me to try next?🤎
you could do a video explaining your experience with each type of nail and rating them :) love your channel btw
Have you tried model ones if not you should try them
Could you try KISS dip nail set from the drugstore ?
@Emma Alacan
Yeeeeesssssss!!!
Im thinking of trying it now. Could you link where you got your nails supplies?
A tiny tip regarding the cuticle treatment/oils: put them on the skin under your nail as well, the skin there tends to be dry as well and using oil will make your nails even stronger!
Thank you!!
And also loosen your application so maybe don’t drown it down there in oil
Yes I’ve been doing that and my nails are so long and strong and I’m not biting them anymore bc of how pretty they are!
I've tried using oil in the past and it actually made my nails lift 🤔. My mom used oil before and her nails ended up lifting. Any tips? Ty
After u squish out the air bubbles put in the light for 10 seconds, take out and get a brush, turn hand over and brush out the excess gel down the length of the tip underneath. That will help with the build up of extender gel under the nail tip. Hope that helps! Good luck your doing great so far 👍🏼💅🏻😘
But isn‘t that gel also already cured bc of the light ? So do u think that it‘ll still be spreadable ?
@@damlah.7452 it doesn't cure it completely. It just prevents the nail tip from lifting up from your natural nail.
Wow thank you
the fact that you linked every single thing you used is a dream come true thank you for not gate keeping
I tried it, and I wishI had tried it sooner. There is a small learning curve, but they were so easy that my right hand looked better than my left, despite not being a lefty. The upfront cost was more than going to a salon, but by the 4th time I use my supplies, I will have broken even and I definitely plan on doing them myself from now on! And it was nice to put whatever design I wanted on my nails without having to worry about any added charges. That will save me so much money going forward.
Just by watching nail videos, I've learned that when the gel starts to burn you can take it out of the lamp and just tap your finger till it cools down and stops burning. I hope this helps you to make sure the process is smoother and won't hurt.
Your nail vids are my favorite I love how you do them and this definitely seemed pretty easy!
Me 2
I love watching your nail videos, I bought the things you used from the dip videos, you encouraged me to do my own nails instead of spending $70 every two weeks for a set of nails so please keep doing nail vids they are amazing!!❤️
I have both Gel X and Kyra Sky soft gels nail and love them !! Definitely prefer the KS lap, so much easier to use . I found that by applying a thin layer of the gel on my nail curing and then applying a thin layer on the nail makes it less messy and you don't have a lot of gel pouring out from the tip of your natural nail. It also lasted about 3 weeks for me with proper nail prep !
When you cure your natural nail should it be 100% dry/cured after?
@@heyemma7270 yes, it should not take long to cure tho. Maybe about 10 seconds
I have a quick question Anyone ? I had a bad reaction to Polygel. Will I have a reaction to this Gel Glue? Ty
@@ElectricAngel181 i have never used poly gel but I would look into what the poly gel is made of and compare them to gel glue . Every product runs a risk of having a reaction.
@stephaniedom7853 Thank you 😊 very much !! I will do that. Have a great day.
I love how these came out. Soo good for your first time! I adore that style you created. Thanks for making this so easy to follow along.
Love, love, love this! I can’t wait to try 💓 I appreciate the fact that you showed what you would have done differently during the video, that helps so much. Thank you!!
I love that I found your first gel x video bc I’m doing gel x for the first tune tmrw 🫶🏽✨🤞🏽
AHH FINALLY! Ive been waiting for you to do this technique! I LOVE gel x! It’s so easy and i loved yours!
this is BY FAR my favorite nail method everrrr!!
how long does it last?
@@nivmessinger9325 can literally last a month+ with proper nail prep
@@nivmessinger9325 yeah i've had mine go as long as 4 weeks before with good nail prep!
How do you prep for them to last that long? 😭 I file, apply dehydrator, primer but they still only last a week
@@sandraramirez-ej9qy are you filling the inside of the nail? That would help.
I've been doing Gel X and LOVE it! Definitely doing this design next!
i recently got into nails, like more seriously with fake extensions. and i started with the clear plastic ones like this first, and as long as u have a base coat with enough viscosity and a uv light u can use without hands, it works like a charm. im so pleased with it too!
These turned out so cute! I’ve gotten this design done before but I’ve started experimenting with doing my nails myself. My apres kit is literally on the way and I WILL be trying this out! So helpful 💚
finally!! I love your nail videos so much! I would love for you to show all you nail products and stuff you use for your nails!
I'm on a natural nail journey currently but this was sooooooooooooooo satisfying to watch thank you!
I've been WAITINGGG for this video!! I'm so happy!! Love you Kayli ❤️❤️
ILYSM FOR LINKING ALL THE THINGS YOU USED❤️ LITERALLY AN ICON FOR THAT BABES
Beetles system like this is amazing as well. Borano has a 3 in 1 "slip solution, base coat and nail glue" with clear full cover tips works great too
This is how I do my nails but I also put dip powder on top of the extensions and then do gel polish art to add a little more strength, I also really like the clicky clackiness of dip acrylic too more than just the gel.
Its the clicky clackiness for.me 😭🤣🤣🤣💯
This is how I do my nails!!! I've tried all the methods, but this method is so fast and easy.
How long do they normally last?
About a week?
@@kimberley.valenzuela if you are rough with your nails, I would say about a week. This is a bit hard to explain but I recommend applying a jelly nude base coat and decorating just the tips of your nails. If your nail falls off, you can just apply more gel nail glue and reattach it with your light.
Congarts on 70k girly I’ve been a fan of 7 and ur channel for so freaking long!!! ❤️❤️❤️
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! I’ve been looking for a video like this for Gel X nails and have not been able to find any. I really appreciate this.
Your hair is so pretty. The cut, the color, speechless ❤️
I want to start doing nails but a nail salon is not in the cards for me right now so this is really comforting for me because I'm so nervous about royally messing something up, it's good to know that fixing the mistakes will be relatively easy this route
I just found this video of you doing these nails. Awesome!!! I bought all the stuff to do these nail, but was afraid to do them. After watching you do them step by step, you did it so great. That now I'm gonna do mine. Thank you so much. I would love to see more.
I LOVE THE WAY YOU EXPLAINED AND SHOWED EVERYTHING!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!
There are special clear clips you can buy to use right after you put the gel so you don’t have to hold it on your finger as you put it under the light. They are called clear poly gel nail clips.
Omg finally I was waiting days for this video!!Definetly do more nail videos pls ilysm ❤️❤️❤️🥰
She says in her earlier videos that she can’t do a lot of nail videos because her nails need to rest after a while:/
@@alaina321 ermm i didnt say do everyday i said do more nail videos:/
The best video I have seen on gel x, thank you soo much. I have been looking for a way to do my nails at home and this is the best video, can we please get more video like this
Also! The extend gel is so soft I find it stays sticky and the underside of my nails end up getting gross as I wear them, so I put a super thin layer of top coat on the underside of the nails to prevent that!
You could try using a swipe of isopropyl alcohol after curing it to remove the tacky layer and save yourself some time w/o the top coat!
@@KatieKicks can I use regular acetone to wipe it off, or would that remove the color?
@@oluomaejiofor8244 that will most likely remove colour
@@oluomaejiofor8244 If you use acetone it will break down the gel
Gotta say, I really respect the shit out of you for filming your first time using gel-x nails. I recently started watching your nails videos because I've been wanting to learn how to do my own nails. Started from the most recent and just very recently learned that you didnt always use gel-x and you've been on a bit of a nail journey. I super appreciate you posting this video because ive been watching you just kill it with the gel-x nails and seeing you doing them for the first time has really made me feel so so SO much better for what i realistically should expect for my first time doing gel-x.
TL;DR - thanks for posting your first time, it helps newbies like me know what to do and not to do and honestly gives me hope that I can get to the same level as you with my own nails. thank you!!!
I just did gel x for the first time the other day and I can say that the amount of gel you put on helps with the squirting out and it comes with experience and I am so impressed with these I’ve always done acrylic on myself and I like gel x better
Literally the best video for beginners, thank youuuuuu ❣
I would love to see a video of you filling them! That’s the part I’m most unsure about when thinking of purchasing it for at home use.
Beautiful colorful nails ❤️💜💖💅🏼🌸
You should recreate this but with blooming gel!! Loved the look of this set!
more nail videos please! i love watching them! 💗
i love your nail videos they’re so satisfying
I had given up on doing this method....but you have inspired me to try again. I loveeeee this video
yassss girl! i've been lovin your nail vids! i actually have been doing my own for a while now too and i LOL'd when you said you used to use elmer's glue instead of the latex stuff because i used to do the same damn thing! I've tried the modelone's extension nail kit and it comes with the same little light and stuff ALL FOR like $20 on Amazon, and it wasn't bad! I think the only thing I wish was that the extend gel it came with were thicker, so if anyone wants to try them, it's a good beginner kit for cheap, but maybe just buy a different extend gel:D
THESE TURNED OUT SO GOOD!!! Ahhhh so pretty
You should try the gooseneck UV clamp light on Amaxon it's actually a better way of applying your nails than the Kiara sky mini lamp. The process is a lot easier with the gooseneck lamp. It's about 16 to $18.
Amazing, you never disapoint, love ya❤️
You can also tilt your light to the side so it’s easier for you to out your fingers under. The way it is now, facing you, you have to maneuver your nails inside instead of naturally around. Just started doing gel x myself thanks to your videos, except with the Gelish tips and ASP bonder and builder and it’s such a great system
Such a smart way to create that airbrush look!!😍😍 you’ve just convinced me to give these gelx nails a tryyyy😏😏😏😏😏😏😏
if you have an LED lamp without the bottom , just tilt the light onto something and that will work too if u can't get the specific lamp 😊❤️❤️ so cute love this ✨
YESS I have been anxiously waiting for this video! So beautiful!! also p.s. i love u
wow i’m def gonna have to try this! my thing with dip is that it takes SO LONG
i love your nail videos!! im also obsessed with nails but im taking a break from long nails coz im quite busy with school
You can also use acid primer to etch the inside of the nail extension. That way you don’t need to file the inside. Beautiful set💕💅
The most effortlessly beautiful UA-camr 🥺
Thank you so much for this video everyone else that does them are like professionals and they have so many steps and expensive tools I didn’t think I could do it myself but I’m definitely going to now
i looovveee ur nail vids! those look so prettyyyyy
Your lashes looks amazing btw are you trying something new?
I love these videos! Literally the best YTer when it come to nail vids
Just wondering: is anyone else’s gel polish soooo sticky? It’s hard for me to apply..
Omg, you are so talented for not even being a professional...you are giving me so much inspiration because I don't want to have to keep going to the nail salon spending a bunch of money 😂
You are so pretty! And very talented with the nails!!
Love your videos 😍😍 definitely trying this nail extensions
i love your videos! you show and explain doing nails so easy! you deserve 1 mil!
Thank you!!! I was going to do dip nails but now I think Ima do these nails 😍😍
Amazing timing i literally was looking for a tutorial on this
Gel X has always been the best way for me to grow out my nails and keep them healthy.
So excited to try this out!!😭😭
i highly recommend a gooseneck uv lamp from amazon, it makes doing gel extension so much easier
My first time doing nails like this, I spent pretty much all the money I had been saving for myself. I went all out and got have them essentials and some of the big ticket items as well as all the colors all the topcoats there is all different brands, every color of glitters (chunky, hallow, fine, big, medium, small, ultra mini, many different shapes and cute designs, a bunch of stickers, tape, decals, metal decals, drill, a bunch of attachments as well as extra, extra essentials just in case I ran out. I mean it goes on.. I had been waiting to treat myself and so glad I did. I can spend hours doing them now.
yes girl! u did it perfectly fine for ur first time❤ u should be more careful around the cuticle area! (im a nail tech)
Kayli just because of your amazing videos I bought dip powder lol I’ll be trying it and recreating your nail design W flowers :)
Love it! Would love an update on how long they last vs dip nails
I love watching nail videos while I do my own nails.
I also use Gel x nails
I’m a 12 year old
Her voice---🛐🛐
Loved the design!!! Anyway just wanted to share a few tips with you…these small lamps are for flash curing not for fully curing gel/ gel color & not fully curing your gel can lead to a hema allergy. Also touching the gel or taking off the “soaked off nail” with your bare hands.
So would u recommend initially curing the gel to set the nail in place on the finger to make it easier to hold in place and then using a bigger lamp to fully cure the nail?
@@Priscalovee yep flash cure your tips on before using a big lamp for a full cure
@@n0thum4n thank you!
They look so cute you did a great job
Super cute design! Love your opinion on Gel X nails!
I did my research and the gel extensions are the healthiest and in my opinion the best!
ahhh im getting mine done in 2 days!!!!!! so excited, if they turn out bad im going to cry
love the nails!! you should try a marble design
You did a great 😊 job! 💜
use a goose neck lamp when you apply the nails! i finally got one and it helped me sooo much.
i've seen some gelx nail techs cure their whole hand after they apply all the tips. im not sure if its just to ensure they stick more? but they look great! i just bought the beetles kit and gel polishes to try out this gelx system bc polygel was really difficult for me as a beginner
The Beetles kit is so great! I got it earlier this yeah and have been OBSESSED!
Its to make sure they are fully cured as those little lamps are not great theyre only flash curing when using a small lamp like that which is only 5 watts
omggg i love thiss, im gonna try this!
You are so funny I love your nail vids keep up the creativity
those nails are GORGEOUS
this was a sign for me to buy gel x🙈
have you tried blooming gel yet? i saw on tik tok that it’s one way to make the aura design and other kewl ones
Girllll I always wondered how girls did these and now i know thank you ahhhhh wish list now lol
I love your videosss
omg plz keep doing nails vids. ik you’ve done like dip nail tutorials but can u do like a very in depths and detailed one bc i wanna do them but i have no clue what i’m doing
The beetles mini light is perfect it’s sensor activated so you don’t need to press the button and it’s the same shape so you can easily still apply pressure while curing
Today I came across ur channel n I love it ❣️, plz do more video's lik this with d same technique , I ❤️ you
💕 definitely trying this on my channel 😍
i love your vibe and u litteraly use the same lingo as me tehe
I keep coming back to watch your videos but I’ve seen them all, clicking on them hoping it’s a new one 😩
I literally just ordered everything!
Could you please do like a update video of the longevity of these gel nails? Like I don't know if it would be worth it if it only last a week for me personally. I love your videos by the way ❤
With proper prep they last up to four weeks with zero prep they last a little over a week
yeees!, I love them and my clients are loving them too :)
They look amazing
I started doing gel tips for school cause it’s more convenient than poly gel or dip
