    Honestly I just spent almost $150 on supplies on Amazon and that’s everything I need to do my own nails which literally would cost me $150 alone so I’m excited to do them my own! Because recently I haven’t liked my nails and they would over buff them

      I just bought $150 worth of supplies so I can do my own nails as well. Tired of shody jobs at the salons, I always leave with bloody cuticles and chonky nails wondering why I paid $75 for such a crappy job. I'm excited to get started, and play around with colors ane textures and become a DIY naik girlie!

    That is not how you get contact dermatitis. Contact dermatitis is when your skin comes in contact with an substance your body may be slightly allergic to; it then causes a rash. Gel can not seep through your nail into your skin. It can get onto your skin AROUND your nail but not under.

    • @javigunda5399
      @javigunda5399 23 дні тому +3

      Gel contact dermatitis occurs when you come in contact with the uncured gel over a longer period of time. If you keep getting it on your skin you might get allergic over time. Some never have a reaction, and some are allergic from the first contact. If the nails are thin enough, i believe it can seep through the nail which is why its so important to cure all the way!

    Okay!!! I came back to say I watched the video about a month ago, followed the steps with other products to the T, primed the tips as well and applied the tips leaving a small space between the cuticle and the nail. The filled the space with BIAB, cleaned the cuticule area with acetone and proceeded with the color. My nails are on now +4 weeks… this is the first time I try gel X nails and there is no pop offs or lifting at all whatsoever. Thank you very much for your instructions.

    I was wondering why my nails popped off in less than a week and the polish itself would get indentations even with a top coat.
    Turns out I only had the tiny UV cure lamp so they weren’t getting fully cured! I purchased a proper one & now they look just like salon quality! I’ll have to update this comment in a week or few and see how long they last!
    My next step is tackling the cuticle area. I keep flooding it with glue or top coat bc it’s hard to see how much you’ve put on or if you’ve missed a spot.

    I LOVE gel extension nails so much because they last 2+ weeks for me! However, I recently switch to Apres since I wanted to “level up” my nail products, but I *swear* they only last a week for me 😭 I have no idea what I’m doing wrong because I’ve done gel extension for an entire year and never had problems. I make sure to properly prep my cuticles, dehydrate, etch the gel extensions and yet they don’t last. Does this happen to anyone else? If anyone has recommendation, please let me know!

    I’m confused because I ordered basically everything I needed for soft gel (I already have been doing my nails for like 3 years so I already have basically everything) and I did everything like in these tutorials. I could pop the nail off like a dual form. I should probably note tho that I pick at my nails and fidget with them so DAMN much, because of anxiety and all that. So I think for someone that doesn’t pick at their nails these are really good tutorials, I’m just the problem lol.

    The problem with doing your own nails is, even though you are saving a gut load of money, you are actually causing so much damage to your nails. You can see the damage done to your nails as an example. You are also giving out faulse information, showing your ignorance of proper nail educaiton. Contact dermatitis can clear up completely if the substance causing the problem is identified and avoided.
    I would advise that you and your followers take a nail and e-file course, even if it is only for your benefit if you intend applying your own nails, especially using an e-file. There are so many cringe moments in this video with all the mistakes you made while applying your nails. However, your nails and designs are fab. I believe you would be an excellent nail technician with the right education.
