these nails are AMAZING!!! and so glad you put that part in about making the nails separately although for everyone reading the comments, I'm training to be a nail tech and I would not recommend using the gel to adhere them once there's color on the nail due to the inability for UV light to get through, resulting in possible under curing and that can trigger gel allergies or the nails not being that sturdy (probably ok if the design is not opaque like the first design but be careful)
I had the same issue, I was attempting to reattach a nail that had come off in one piece. It would not cure properly at allll it worked once I filled off the polish on the nail (honestly I was being lazy and didn’t want to reshape it)
This makes so much since lol, I usually apply my gel x nails with Press one that have been colored with none opaque color and top coat on the press one with builder gel or gel base coat and they would always pop off by the 2nd day but I got a cheap kit off Amazon that comes with a lamp and a “6in 1gel” and its very sturdy after I’ve cured it and I think it’s gonna last . But I’m gonna try curing the press on without any polish to see if will last longer . Thanks for the tip 😌👍🏾

Does anyone else’s nails get a burning pain when adhering your nails with the UV light, like it’s burns when I do, I use a nail adhesive instead of glue maybe that’s the problem
You got me buying all this gel x stuff now 😂 I'm looking around and I saw this new kit on Amazon called the miniluxe gel kit. It looks similar to beetles, have you tried it yet? I only trust your reviews 🥰
Do you find that curing on nails after painting them with the stands come off easier ??? (Mine never come off ever when I paint them after curing curious is the paint before makes them not as strong and cured)

It’s just easier to work with. The apres is a little thicker. Just depends on everyone’s preference but they both last just as long and beetles is cheaper

Just make sure that the base color is translucent or semi translucent, because if not the base gel won’t cure and thats no good

You can only safely do that when the nail has a translucent nail bed (like a French) or you risk an allergy from the light not fully curing the gel

Just a tip, if you're doing lots of nail changes get some UV protection gloves to save damage to your skin.

I heard doing the way you prep them before putting on nails heard if paint them before hand hard to cure with gel won't stick.
