  • First ride out on the 750 with the new quickshifter installed. A lot of "smooth" talking going on! Grab a coffee, grab a biscuit, listen and enjoy!

    Great video mate, love the sound with the quickshifter. Im test riding a 2019 GSX-S750 with 13,000 miles on staurday, is there anything you think i might have to look out for?

    • @twistandgo3414

      Nice one! Would just say check for usual service history. Check for corrosion in front of rear wheel and around that area as the swing arm can rust, check for front headlight not being cracked as that can happen (mine has been ok). They're pretty reliable... So as long as it has been well cared for, in good condition, with good history should be OK. Fueling on mine was spot on too out of the factory so that should be smooth. Thanks for watching and for the support! 😁. Look forward to hearing the outcome!

    • @twistandgo3414

      They’re Puig mirrors, F1.1 model, bought from Motorcycle Performance Store. They have a couple of different models / Designs and have loads of options for adjustment once fitted. Not cheap, but they’re well made and good quality. Thanks for watching and for the feedback, always appreciated! 😁👍🏻

    If you install one, can you still use the clutch to shift like "normal"? I'd love to switch back n forth

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  Рік тому +1

      Yes of course. You still need to use the clutch to shift down the box but you don't have to use going up the gears if you don't want to. Works best above 3k revs. Very rare to use it below that though anyway. Thanks for watching!

    Is the quickshifter push & up?

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  Рік тому

      Yeah it comes with two connections, push or pull connection plugs. You just connect which one you want to use, so if you change to race shift, just change over the connection when you flip the gear linkage. It's a brilliant piece of kit. Thanks for watching.

  • @oogaboogaman753

    so, I installed mine about a day ago and been having problems! it works but not like I'm seeing in this video... it doesn't have the stutters/farts like yours.

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  3 роки тому

      Is it smooth? I know this one I have installed is different to the one I fitted on my K8 Gsxr 750 back in circa 2009, but suspect they have come on since. The cut on this isn't as harsh as it was then although wasn't bad but its just a cleaner shift now and not as abrupt. If it's not as smooth as this, it's worth checking all the connections etc is my only suggestion or call the supplier for tech support if you don't think its right. Unless you have the newer model..in this video its the last of this model (iS4) a slightly newer one was released a month or so ago (QXSi) Additionally, mine is better now than it was here, It learns how you change gear and adapts the kill times itself over time. This was literally the first run out on this after testing on the paddock stand first. If you watch my latest video on the 750 vs new 2021 gsxs 1000 comparison, you'll probably notice the gear changes in there sound different by comparison.

      @@twistandgo3414 I thank you very much for replying. I emailed Translogic and got a similar reply. They have updated the ramp in and out of ignition so it isn't as aggressive (flutter) as yours in this video. Basically it's like the one you have on the s1000. @@twistandgo3414 Me again!Stupid question,IIRC from previous vid u have a full system on ur 750,is it much louder for example with the full system and baffle in than just slipon and baffle out?Also,which full system if u did have one,can't seem to find anything for the gsxs 750 in belgium in regards to a full system exhaust excluding the slipon..

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  3 роки тому +1

      @@user-zk6xy7ml9u hmm... Full system with baffle in vs slip on with baffle out I would say, would be pretty much the same. The standard cat on these isn't that restrictive like it is on the 1000, but obviously removing it, does help with ultimate gas flow. By comparison, the exhaust tone following decat (baffle removed) is slightly deeper compared to the cat being in place and baffle removed. Arrow do full systems im sure but I have Blackwidow Headers fitted to mine and then you can just fit whatever slip on you decide to, so gives plenty of options. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

      Yeah, but I guess if you consider the bikes original purchase price which is quite low compared to bikes that have these toys fitted as standard, then it is. I paid £350 GBP brand new for it as it was on offer, but worth every penny, it's great. ( What price for quality?) - Double the price in Canada seems a bit unfair though!. Thanks for watching.
