I like how you show us that a repair is possible versus a complete replacement first. Sometimes, a repair is all that is needed, and a homeowner with minimal tools can complete it.
Let's Get to Fixin' 🛠
I wish the same could have been done to my dishwasher I just replaced. I will try to repair when possible
Yeah but sometimes it’s cheaper and easier to just replace it because time is money and it’s a lot faster than troubleshooting and repairing when you don’t know if you have the replacement parts.
@michaelcatalanottohandyman Not saying replacement is out of the question.... The average homeowner might not have the right tools or skills for a complete replacement. So this is a teaching moment with an alternative way to try and fix it before..... either buying the tools to repair it themselves or paying a plumber and carpenter to repair.
Awesome fix Brian. Good to see the channel keeps on growing. Love the content
Another great job Brutta!
Thanks for the tips!
hey he is back
I’m trying. Hard to do it all.
Looks great! 👍🏼
Thanks! 👍it did turn out great. I still would like to know the make a model.
Thank you for this video, ace. 👍👍👍It helped me with something that I'm working on right now. I have a faucet spout on a roman tub that moves around; those shims in the gap look like the ticket too help keep it from moving, since I can't get under the tub. For someone who isn't as experienced as you, like me, it could take someone a long time tracking down all of those washers and parts plus the trial and error to see which one fits and works. Do you think for the less experienced, it would just be better to change the valve out? 🤔 By the way, I'd love to have you as a neighbor. We could get into all kinds of fixin', and you could probably learn something about all kinds of things from me too.
Great video and sweet repair job Brian. Hey Brian have you ever thought about moving to South Central Ky I would love to have you for a neighbor 😂
That would be cool Britt! I will make a video and show you what he gave me for a helping out a neighbor gift.
where o where is the anti-drain back valve leak video
Just go under the house and cut and solder a whole new bib on is what I would do.
It is in the wall and he did not want to open it up.
