    Bro that number of Tnut is overkill.

    I think it would be helpful if the guides had reference to the timestamp in this video. This guide is a requirement to go with the published ones in the Rat Rig documentation

    I've been saving 20 bucks out of every check to get one. Only 2 more years and I'll finally have a rat rig 3d printer. I'm excited.

      @@hapskie @Lokadamus - Built it ever since, it came at week 6 (give or take). I like it, though I had idler issues. Fixed it since, and replaced the belt with a Gates belt. Got it running nicely now.

    Good clear video. Just a comment. You could easily cut down on a lot of the repetition, and show a few dimmensions with graphics of more of the parts and there placement and halve the length of the video. But still, well done.

    As I could see on the steps from the build assembly on the v-core site, the 300x300 kit comes with about 4.2 meters of belt, 2.1ish for each belt, right? I'm asking it because I bought the parts myself and got 10m of 9mm belt (don't wanna cut too much belt and ruin the rest of it :)
    Awesome video by the way!

    Just to make it right, until the frame is not compleete, don't tighten the screws that much. Or later you have to release and retighten all of them to make sure there is no friction or missangle in it.
    What is your opinion?

    Do you supply the inner frame panel as well? I heard from other youtubers that you don't

    • @curlycallmcdiesel5074

      No they dont. You will need to supply it yourself. There is a dxf file on their site with the correct dimensions and hole layouts.

    • @ratrighardware
      @ratrighardware  2 роки тому

      We provide DXF files so you can get the panels cut in a local laser shop. We intend to start supplying panels too, as soon as we can.

    • @iotmadehard8795
      @iotmadehard8795 2 роки тому +1

      One solution is to use DIN rails in place of the panel. Works ok if you are not planning on enclosing the printer.

      Just choose the Rat Rig - The ordering process is MUCH simpler as you can get 98% of the required parts from one trusted place. With the Voron you will be ordering from quite a few places and then also you have to keep track of what you ordered etc.. I was in the same boat but eventually ordered and still waiting for my Rat Rig V-Core 3 Kit

    • @woodwaker1
      @woodwaker1 2 роки тому +1

      I agree with Louis. I looked at the Voron, and was concerned that the only kits are from China and they got mixed reviews at best. Rat Rig put together a great kit and you can customize as much as you want. I'm almost done with mine and have used this video with the guides - they really work well together.
