Not only Freddy and Jason are in the same universe as Ash but if you look carefully in "bride of Chucky" you can see that some of Freddy's stuff, Jason's stuff and Mike Myers' stuff are in the police station so halloween is also part of this; better yet? Sure, Chucky alludes to someone with nails on his head and in the script of Freddy vs Jason Pinhead shows off in hell at the end. So, Friday the 13th, A nightmare on Elm street, Evil Dead, Child's play, Halloween and Hellraiser they all share a monsterverse. Sweet!
Fun Facts: Sean Cunningham, who helped create the first Friday the 13th, returns to work on this one. While New Line Cinema purchased the rights to the Jason Voorhees character from Paramount, they were unable to get the rights to the Friday the 13th name hence the Titles of Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X. John D. LeMay, who played Steven, previously starred in the Friday the 13th series in the late 80s.
@@snoopersgonnasnoop All three of them met and fought in Freddy vs Jason vs Ash comic mini series which was a sequel to Freddy vs Jason using a screenplay that was written for the movie that never got made. There's also a sequel to FVJVA called Freddy vs Jason vs Ash: The Nightmare Warriors.
Aww RIP to the great Leslie Jordan 💔 This is one is in the bottom half of my rankings but there are a lot of times that I really enjoy watching it. Just have to kind of be in the mood to watch it but when I am, I have a hell of a good time lol
The tent kill in the uncut version is hands down one of THE goriest kills of the series. Holy crap that was nasty. For me that was right up there with the uncut kill of Ben in Part 7 when his head gets squished by Jason. That was just disgusting and there was no way in hell the MPAA was gonna let that one go uncut.
I just want to see Jason vs. Michael. I want a full on fight to the death epic battle between the ultimate boogeymen. Just to see them decimate each other would be just perfect to me.
I saw this for the first time at the movies back in 1993 with my Dad. Back then there was no internet so the ending with Freddy was a complete shock. I was hoping there'd be a Freddy Vs Jason in the next few years. Who knew it would take 10 years to do?
I love this movie cuz of how immediate and gory it is! Granted, some more love and care could've been used for this because I hated the fact that Jason himself wasn't mainly Featured. I love eating pomegranates when the coroner gets hypnotized by Jason's heart and eats it.
This movie did give me Evil dead vibes for a reason, is it me or does Michael Jason and Freddy each have a film where their spirit or its them possessing someone In Halloween ends we see with Corey, we see it here in Jason goes to hell we're his spirit goes from body to body and In nightmare on elm street 2 when Freddy possesses the dude to do his dirty work
I LOVED Jason's Monster look in this, he couldn't take his mask off because of the toxic waste. But the whole story was stupid imo. I wish we got that scary Jason all movie. Mannn, big missed opportunity. This needed more Kane Hodder. I was kinda bored halfway through the first through times.
8:52 One of the most bizarre and unnerving scenes in the whole entire franchise as of today it still gives me the expression of "What the fuck?" 🤨 LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The fact that this film is different does not make it good-they just tried to explain what they did not explain in previous films and came up with facts out of nowhere that nothing hinted at. This ability does not suit Jason at all. It would be interesting if he swapped bodies with one person by accident, but would lose his abilities for that time.
Saw this in the theater. On one hand, they tried something different..so points. But.. this movie doesnt get why we, the fans, like this series. It tries too many things and none work well. We wanna see Jason in his full glory, not a bunch of possessed normals. This movie lifts the whole "evil slug body possession" gimmick from ANOTHER New Line movie from 87, "The Hidden", and it was wonky in that movie too. So, Jason could leap into bodies this whole time? So, where was this bounty hunter in the last 13 years or so? So Jason's family... had a mansion? And this is the first time we know of it? So Jason resurrects at the end, into the same dumpy ass melted body? Did they run out of money for a new design? Wheres the crystal mask from the poster?
Facts. That is one of the most bizzare and unnerving scenes in the whole entire franchise as of today it gives me the expression of " What the fuck?" 🤨 LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hated this and thought it was weird and gross 🤢 🤮 and not in the good way they made too much and should of stopped after Jason Vs Carrie. It’s new blood but I call it Jason vs Carrie 😂
This movie is soooo stupid and gross 🤢🤮 I remember I saw it as a kid and I hated it so much 😂 Mainly because Jason is barely in it. At least theJason that I know and love from the other movies.
Can't argue with that. That bootleg TRON sounding soundtrack is what I can't stand more than anything besides the dumb body swapping plot. It was cool to see some fantasy/sci-fi genre actors in this flick and the gore was on point (uncensored for the most part too no less) but overall this one was terrible. Jason X is even worse but in a silly dumb way.
I love this look of Jason. His mask embedded in his face, the burns and bulging brain, it gives him a more sinister look imo

We need a crossover with all of them together

This movie confirmed that Freddy, Jason, and Ash are in a shared universe.
Thank you another reason why I like this movie is bc they made Jason a deadite

This Jason movie is childhood memories for me.
Kane Hodder played Jason and a security guard at the morgue on this one.

The very first time I saw this movie was when I was over by friends house. These movie was so good and it had me on the edge and it was so lit man.
Your reactions are funny bro. “Oh so they had to stick it all the way in Him (Pause)” 😆
RIP Leslie Jordan! Such a funny guy!
This Jason movie was a weird one but still kinda enjoyable, I like how it connects to Evil Dead.
RIP to Leslie Jordan. He was also in this movie
From Ski Patrol / Will & Grace!
hilarious jason goes to hell [1993] film - movie reaction !!!

I remember when this came out to video, and my sister worked at a video store, and she got it for me to watch
Yep. Jason is a official Deadite.
Despite the fact that in terms of abilities and intelligence, it still has nothing to do with them...
White gold: omg I fucking knew it you nasty as fuck. had me laughing 😂
Nah, I’m crying laughing at “she look like a parrot” followed by “I can’t believe ole girl got her beak smashed in” 😂😭😭😭😭😭😭

Def underrated.... best one is by far the remake they made a few yrs ago ....
The only thing that can stop Jason is a lawsuit

Actually if the read the Pamela voorhees origins comic jason face was always like that since birth.

That's typical Adam Marcus for ya. The guy's a hack. Another horror flick he did that was crap was Texas Chainsaw 3D.
Was that the black hunter Rufus from supernatural
? Actor
His name is Creighton Duke.
Steven Williams (Blues Brothers / 21 Jump Street - the original Depp TV series, not the Hill & Tatum films)!
😎🤓
Jason it's not Deadite, is only a citation, Jason is totally different
23:04 lol
This and Jason goes to Manhantten what where they thinking
Fun reaction. But unfortunately this film is my least favourite. It is so far removed from the universe of the original.
