This man belongs to those immortal ones that history showed us, mighty olimpians, fearless warriors.. this man went nuts. His life strory is fascinating. One of a kind.
At some point this guy went from top 3 to the one and I think his discipline is a big part of it. Man obviously eats well and takes care of his body. I always prefer Federer out of the big 3 but Novak has been that guy for 5-10 years now. He's special.
I wonder if the diet plays a part or if it makes little difference but the discipline and single mindedness that drives it is the reason for his success.
Watching this makes me so grateful I’m not a professional athlete or movie star. These diets are torture. My grandmother lived to be 100 and ate bread and cheese for breakfast and drank beer or wine with every meal. I think I’ll take my chances and go that route.
It's not torture once the likes of your taste buds adjust. In fact, going back to the old foods feels more like the torture becomes more likely after a time. Props to your grandma, but she might be an outlier. Most of us aren't. Discipline enough at the dinner table isn't a bad thing.
Whilst I admire his discipline, a healthy body (which I'm sure he has) shouldn't need detoxing. Our bodies are very efficient in this respect unless there are medical problems.
His regiment is incredible. The amount of discipline to do this, day in day out is one of the most challenging things to do ever. But he can do it. He's one hell of a marvel to behold.
I remember a book on diet I read back in the 80's that called for this type of consumption. It's difficult to get used to because we generally crave carbs in the morning. The first weeks were rough. But eventually the body adapts. I kept to it through a season. Probably my best year of tennis. Novak is on another level with this altogether.
As a professional tennis player he needs a lot of energy than a normal average person. My father lived up.to 98 and he ate rice and curry. He ate everything very small portions. No alcohol or smoking. He drank lot of Ceylon tea. He never had Demantia. He did cross words every day. 😊
Everyone should try it for some time, the energy and clearty surge is amazing. It took me about 3 months to get out of woods and feel the full effect. Its was very very hard at least it was for me, but the reward was priceless.
Why he's the better athlete of the big 3. Nobody has this much discipline in tennis. I won't be surprised if he'll still be playing for the next 10 years.
Nadal is the most "athlete" in my opinion. Has the best physique out of them. But he is prone to injuries Djoko had only one big injury in his career. Thats big luck. Thats why he seems to you the best athlete, i guess. But his phisical abilities are worse than Nadal I would say.
@@dididubalier2196it's not just luck.... Djokovic has had many minor injuries but he has maintained his fitness so well that his recovery time is very less. Also he has tempered his body to his style of play. Any other player trying to slide the way he does would buckle their knees and blow out their ankles.
@@dididubalier2196 Nadal has some kind of birth-default with his feet, firstly, and it's a miracle that he achieved what he did. Secondly, he's shorter than Novak, he has more body mass, he looks a bit chunky for a tennis player.. both Fed and Novak are more athletic than Rafa. I guess you're just in love with him 😍 which is very cute 😊
Like 15 of them before Novak arrived. Fed's prime years were weak era.. he played philipousis and co. He said himself that Rafa and Novak made him a better player
makes me laugh that everyone is putting his diet the front of why he’s the goat, not the fact that his talent and dedication to training are like 98% of why he’s the goat. ‘Does celery juice really make me this good at tennis ‘
I don't believe in talent, I believe it's all about inteligence, work and thinking about what's important. And this kind of diet and spiritual aspects of life that he's applying is what made him a league of his own.
The reality I wake up somewhere around 11-11:30 am rolling off the sofa where I passed out the night before after playing Xbox until 3am I take a sip of warm beer from the can which sits on my coffee table and finish the last slice of pizza from the night before . I drive to the court train for about 30-40 minutes sign some autographs and then enjoy a Bloody Mary followed by a cigarette on the balcony at queens
Sounds like my diet. That's how our diets should be. It's normal. It's not extremely healthy or abnormal. Our bodies are machines made of cells. You gotta feed those cells plenty of nutrients every day. I don't worry about energy for digestion tho bc I'm not an athlete or professional sports person. I don't use powders in drinks either. I also eat granola and for treats sometimes cookies or ice-cream. Balance is key
Most people can't even relate/understand an attitude towards eating health and fitness like that. But I suppose most people aren't world class sports stars.

Yes maybe she did live to a 100, but with all due respect, your grandma probably couldn't sprint or jump up for the last 70 years of her life!

He’s eating very healthy and naturally. No preprocessed foods or junk food. Good for him. It works for him.
Not really does it work for him, he must do it. He’s an athlete that requires insane physical shape and diet is a huge part of it
He eats sugary fruits and starches and that smoothie is processed. At the end of the day all hes running on is sugar, a carb-centric diet.
