Thank you for the teaching and money saving tips!
Superb tutorial Sybille - thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! 🤍
Thank you for your lovely comment. Hope you are working on some marbling as well.
Great for those of us just getting started! Thanks!
Very welcome. Another session coming up soon. Stay tuned.
Thanks for the video. I thought it was very interesting. It’s the first time I’ve seen this done. I can imagine, that with a bit more time you could create just about anything. I’m watching from Spain.
Thank you for your comment. I will be doing a follow-up video soon. Marbled papers have a special quality and so many uses.
I look forward to seeing it. 🥰🥰@@sybillemuschik
SOU MUITO GRATA POR ESSA PROFESSORA NOS ENSINAR COM AMOR.
I am enjoying the video. What is an extender? You mentioned it a couple of times. Do you share a recipe to mix acrylic paint for marbling?
Thank you for your question. The extender thins out the paint so that it will float on the sizing. It doesn't alter the intensity of the paint much. If you check back in the video to minute 3.14 you will see the Zinser acrylic extender container. There are probably other products. Just ask your local paint store for a clear acrylic paint extender.
As to recipe, think I mention a 1:1 ratio but different paints may require more or less extender. You'll have to experiment.
Hi, can this method be used for dipping primed coated ceramics? Thanks for sharing ❤
You can try it. It will probably work as long as you use acrylic paint . Thank you for your question. I will put it on my to do list for another video..
@@sybillemuschik thx Sybille, ill try
Thank you for this video. I have a youtube channel, where i featured similar videos on silk. It is a very therapeutic process, and it's a beautful surprise to see the final print.
Thank you for sharing your gift of creativity and teaching.
Thank you for your comment. Working on silk would be challenging. I do have fabric paints to try.
I really appreciate your comments. Yes, doing the videos takes a lot of time and effort. I make them to help simplify some of the artistic processes so everyone with interest in the subject can try them with minimal expense and everyday tools. Art making is meditative and healing. Having a laugh at some of the silly problems that come up is part of the process and we often show them in outtakes. As our channel grows, we will probably have some troll comments. If they teach us something, I will leave them. If they are just a mindless complaint, no point.
