I was a nanny for two years with a real French family who taught me how to cook a typical rustic quiche the way the French do. I would use whatever vegetable they had on hand to make each one. It was really simple. Into a premade pie shell, I would add the meat, then whatever vegetable chopped up, then I would pour into that one egg and some sour cream, and top it off with shredded cheese. I baked it quite often for them and it was delicious. It smelled really good while it was baking. This brings back memories of my wonderful time as a nanny to two little French children I adored. Your quiche looks really yummy. I think chopped up steak would be a good sub for the ham and I love broccoli and cheese anything! Thank you Tammy!
Hi Tammy! First, what a great choice of Christmas graphics! Next, broccoli, cheese & ham quiche is one of my all-time faves, too. Your video inspired me to whip up a couple of the quiches for a quick dinner this evening. I couldn't believe it, but I didn't have enough flour to make the pie crusts so made them using some brown rice that had been cooked in a seasoned broth for an extra layer of flavor. The quiches were excellent!! No leftovers! Thanks for sharing another of your delicious recipes and for another video, y'all!
Way to go Pat!
Thats amazing wishing i could have some of those pie, i wasnt expecting any leftover , how are you doing Pat
I love this quiche . . . . Thanks for sharing this recipe. I sure hope you make cut out cookies for Christmas in one of your videos coming up for the season.
That looks so good !!!! Love that little snowman Tammy❤
My mama made a healthy version of quiche which eliminated mayo and/or butter, used whole milk (4%) instead of half and half and no crust but instead, added 1/2 cup of flour to the egg mixture which creates a slightly crusted edge underneath egg mixture once it's baked...using just a small amount of cheese sprinkle on top. A really great quiche with way less fat thus, calories. Since I'm older and trying to eat a healthy, clean diet this works great for me. Thanks Tammie for all your hardwork and great recipes!
YUMMY I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS. THANK YOU TAMMY. DELICIOUS!
This quiche looks so good. My family and I would love this. I would love to be eating this right now.
Now, THAT'S worth coming home to..lol😋
Look delicious!
Nice baking..👊🏿
Love the holiday intro! So cute!!! The broccoli and cheese quiche looks awesome!!!
Yum! I am 38 and have never cooked my own quiche!!! 😮 lol I am taken back to childhood when my mom would bake something like this…. Anyways I loved this video and will be making this this week. Looks delicious ❤🎉
Tammy , that Quiche looks delicious 😋 I will have to try that . Thanks for sharing! God Bless You and Chris 😇Have a wonderful weekend 😀
LOVE the new open. The music and snowman and blowing snow are just great. Thanks for taking the time to do that. It made me feel ready for Christmas, NOT. Quiche looks awesome. I've never used mayonaise. Our store (up north) only got Duke's two years ago and we still don't have White Lily. I'm workin' on them. Take care of that voice.
Dukes Mayo is the best!
Looks delicious! Just recently found your channel and I love it!!!!!
Hey Tammy, Tampa here. OMG...I like an easy quiche, so I'm making this tomorrow. YUMMY ! Thanks for the recipe. Have a wonderful holiday.
Hi Tammy, this looks wonderful!
My family doesn't eat pork, so I'm thinking of using mushrooms?
But thinking I should use canned not fresh as fresh might add too much moisture.
I will let you know how it turns out this looks so good for cold winter nights 😸
Yes you can!
Congratulations, contest winners!!! You are both lucky (blessed) gals ;-)
I love it that so many people are using the silicone utensils from Dollar Tree. I love mine!
I also use a quarter tsp. of nutmeg and a quarter tsp. of herb d' province in my quiche.
Oh my!! Another delicacy!! Something near and dear to my families heart. My mother blesses us with her famous quiche at Christmas time. Thanks for sharing your amazing recipe for us to enjoy!! Love your content!!🙏❤
So excited my CV Cookbook is on the way- THAT WAS SO FAST !!! ♥️♥️

Great video, I love quiche! Should this rest awhile before serving, for the custard to set?
I don't think it has too myself. It was so good warm and Chris warmed his in the air fryer for supper.
The title says it all! Love love this dish❤️.
Looks delicious, can't wait to try. Thanks for sharing
Tammy, I have been looking for a simple quiche recipe. This will work fine for me in the tart shells since I live alone. I can freeze them and take them out as needed, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Thanks Tammy.
Very nice visuals at the introduction. Tammy, your top is so cute on you, it reminds me of some of the tops I wore in the 70's. Along with how cute your hair looks too, you could be right back in the 70's. And of course you were making a 70's quiche. FYI: I think your earrings should be switched to the other ears. The curvature of the butterfly would follow the curvature of you face better. Try it! (Butterflies also from the 70's!!) LOL
That looks delicious!!
Thank you, Tammy and Happy Holidays to you. Such a great and quick recipe. Idea for tomorrow's dinner!🎄❤☕🌹
Love the new Christmas Intro..so cute 🎄🤗
Oh, Tammy! I love love LOVE this Christmas intro :-)
Looks great. Love your Christmas motif and music. I love quiche . Would be nice for Christmas morning.
Thanks, Tammy! I've never heard of mayo in a quiche before. I understand the reasoning, though. Re ham. I just ask the deli to cut me ham steaks (#7 on the slicer). I'm alone so even a small pre-sliced ham would be too much for me to get through. So it's just nice to get what I want when I need it. Even if just a single ham steak for one! :)
That's a good idea I'm going to get my ham at the deli!
Hum,BOB ISN T HERE,BUT OH BOY IS!! 3!🥦🥦🥦🥦🐤🐥
hi Tammy 💚⛄🎄looks delicious
I add a tiny dash of nutmeg. I also like very thin slices of sweet onion and use frozen well drained spinach instead of brocolli. I also use grated Swiss cheese. A quarter cup of white wine is good too.
Looks excellent enjoy
Praying for you to be totally over COVID!
Right up my alley looks delicious
I made this for dinner tonight and it was DELICIOUS! My husband and I both really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for sharing all these wonderful recipes with us Tammy. We really enjoy watching your videos. Hope you are feeling better.
Glad you liked it!!
🤣who else ❤️’s the sound of the whisk beating the eggs in the bowl?
I do love a good quiche and I always forget about them when I’m trying to figure out what to do,with my left over ham or turkey from Thanksgiving. I just love your channel and your personality! You have the most expressive eyes! 😊 And you always make me giggle when you say “Where we cook, like Momma did”. You’re just too cute! 🥰🥰🥰
Hello Cindie how are you
I usually always make Quiche Lorraine with onions, bacon and lots of Swiss- usually have 4 pies each Xmas - but this looks so Great thank you so much . .God bless you

Hi Tammy, I just subscribed. The broccoli quiche looks scrumptious.
Welcome to CVC!
You can spray the quiche pan, Sprinkle with bread crumbs, and have a crustless pie. Cuts out even more carbs. I do it all the time.
Was looking for a good broccoli & cheese quiche and I just found it! Lost one from a long time ago, (yes, the 70's)
Woooooooow this look so delicious great job 😋Happy holidays GodBless checking in from Atlanta Ga check out #PrayingCoupleCookingSeries
Yum I wish I could get my hubby to eat quiche again I love it but he doesn’t.. 🥲
I have it in the oven right now! Excited! Haven’t made on in like 30 years! Thank you!
Hope you enjoy
It was wonderful!!!
Who said real men don’t eat this? I do and I bet Chris does too. Love this!
He loved it
You got me at Dukes mayonnaise. I add it to so many things. My favorite thing to add it too is cornbread. Can’t wait to try this recipe.
Looks delicious but of course all of your dishes do.
I know it's off topic but I admire how you take the time to put your makeup on along with cute outfits everyday. Could you please make a video about what motivates you to look BEAUTIFUL every day. I don't know of anyone that has made an encouraging video about that and I need that right about now. Love your channel and love you and your family. Thank you. Love and Hugs from Alabama🙂🌺
Happy holidays loved the show . Sweet lady. Sending all the love GoD can give to u on he holidays for all y’all do.😘🙏😇🤗✌️👏😋

Wow, I never thought it would be this easy. I'm making this for dinner. You never said how much shredded cheddar to use.
Have you ever made it to take to someone's house? Does it reheat well in the oven or should I just make it at their house?
Yes it reheats wonderfully! The recipe is on www.collardvalleycooks.com in a printable version.
When you said garlic, about mayonnaise, I looked on my Hellman’s and it doesn’t say anything about garlic 😁 new to the channel, like the cooking
✔
You didn't say how much cheese that you use ok
It is in the written recipe for you they are all on collardvalleycooks.com
can you substitute the half and half with something else if you don't have any on hand???
Milk
The quiche looks delish, but how much cheese did you use and what kind of cheese?
Cheddar and 1 1/2 cups the recipes are all written out on collardvalleycooks.com for you
First time I've seen adding flour into the quiche custurd mixture. Makes sense, could you describe the results of adding that ingredient? Cake verses souffle?
Definitely more like a souffle

Tammy, I’m wondering if it would set up without a crust so it could be low carb? What do you think? Beautiful pie.
Yes, absolutely
I waded through all the steps in the print recipes under appetizers, and I can't see any "print recipe" for this video. I didn't have any problem with any of the other recipes. Could there be a glitch?
I couldn’t either
I will fix it now
@@CollardValleyCooks THANK you! I got it.
I hope to make this next weekend but, I have to ask if you use a regular size pie dish or is it a deep dish?
I made your sweet potato pie recipe but, my refrigerator crust did not look as pretty as yours.
The filling was delicious; as was the crust, but just not as pretty as yours.
I hope you are enjoying your time off with your family! Big hugs!
☮️💖🙏🇺🇸🇮🇱✝️✌️😘
Regular size
That explains a lot! 🤗
Thank you so much for your reply, Malissa!
I hope you and Tillman have a much better new year!
Big hugs for you both!

Tammy, which brand of "hamberger masher" do you use and recommend? When you go through your Amazon to buy one, there are SO many-some with good ratings, some with bad. I know you had a specific reason for the one you use?
I like the Rada one I like ones that the blades do not curve
@@CollardValleyCooks Great to know. I'll see if I can find it under the Rada items!
Thanks, I never really thought about making this myself. When you buy it elsewhere, it cost a lot of money.
You baked that to perfection, that looked delicious. This is going to happen one of these cold snowy nights, when I feel like spending the evening in the kitchen.
It must have been raining there, and that sound was so relaxing.
Your Christmas characters at the beginning of video are so cute. Quiche is a favorite, good for brunch or anytime.
Looking at the pie, makes me drool.
Thank you for cooking. Bye for now Lizzie lu
Omgoodness that looks amazing. I would like onion in mine. No heat tho! Thanks ❤️🙏🏻⛄️🎄🎁

Love your Christmas intro!!! The quiche looks wonderful!!!
_instead of adding flour to the wet mixture, try tossing it with the grated cheese then pour the mix over it all. Great with shrimp in it too!
Now that's a wonderful meal! My mouth is watering. Thanks y'all!
REALLY LOOKS DELICIOUS...THANKS FOR SHARING ANOTHER GREAT RECIPE...
