I’m pretty sure there wasn’t anything more for White than a draw and he was losing on time. Nevertheless, Black should have accepted the kind offer, if he wanted to flag, cause White doesn’t get rid of the rook anytime soon.
The wagon gambit irritated everyone at our annual Christmas gambit tournament. So that counts as a big success. Thanks Johnathon. Keep up the good work.
@@HighlyCruciferous The Christmas gambit is very informal, we had pizza and snacks everyone is laughing and moaning about the gambits 5+2 no score sheets sadly. The other two gambits we played were the Brytnse and the Calabrese countergambit, maybe the Bryant’s got more complaints, a measure of success in the tournament.
12:14 Qe3 doesn't work. Qe3 Qxe3 Bxe3 Re8 Nd1 as well as Ke2 lose to d4 Kf2 loses to Ng4+ with a fork And Kd2 loses to d4 Bxd4 Rd8 and various tactics to win the bishop. I don't think the GM calculated all the lines after d4 Rd8 but he knew he would have been under a lot of pressure and just didn't want to risk (pun intended) it.
14:59 is there a reason you don’t just push the pawn for discovered check by the bishop on b7? Trying to learn the game as that’s what I would have done without a second thought. 14:59
“He knows the ladder” was hilarious.
Hehe 😂 GMs knowing the ladder checkmate. That's brilliant 😆
At 10:10 the fancy 51. h3+ just leads to a drawn pawn endgame. GM gave a pawn away just because it was a cool fancy move.

Send in the scores of some of the games if they were recorded or you remember them !

@@joseraulcapablanca8564 Sounds like fun !
It is so rude how all the grand masters just decline your Nakhmanson like that
Well Magnus loss to it, why wouldn't they? Lucky it wasn't a bongcloud opening, or botez gambit.
It was ruder of him to refuse a rematch after you beat him. You had him on the run!
A better watch it they're going to promote you to a Grandmaster beating all the Grandmasters you only need five wins
much nicer way to get the norms, just annoying for all the titled players if you could just jump to GM

White's Queen takes the bishop of you do that.
@@TheChessViking this is why I’m not a GM. Thank you
9. Qf6 really baffled me. Why would you walk into Bg5? You noticed it right after too, but its +6 for white...
The last game was very good!
Sorry if you keep being asked this but why don't you have a title ?
