Amazing lesson. I am so thankful for people like you guys who take the time and make the effort to teach aspiring drummers like us your tricks and grooves, thank you very much!
These are the type of videos I’d like to see little more of!! Even though lot of it is simple being a hard rock drummer I want to see those sort of “workhorse” type grooves and fills every drummer is gonna find themselves using in a song at one point.
Really nice stuff. This goes to show, you can know a lick (or a word), it doesn't mean you'll think of using it or make cool combinations. This is a great reminder. And this guys reeks of a seasoned drummer. Awesome...
2:50 I saw this lesson RLL more than 100 times by many others professional drummer on UA-cam. Give some knowledge about hihat technique lesson. But I really appreciate it. Love from Nepal❤
It drives me nuts everytime the host grabs the crash even after the drummer mutes it. Keep your fingers prints off my Cymbals..haha. Your little brother wants his shirt back...😁
@@RobKingRC he muted the ride the first time I saw it then the host muted the crash when the drummer didnt but the second time the drummer did mute it but not enough
Around 4:30 and a little after you basically played the Song For The Dead intro, then the beginning fills you showed us reminded me of the outro. Haha Very good fills though, and also an amazing song. Because Dave Grohl, and QOTSA!!!
This is awesome as usual, but it'd be great if the explanation were a bit more detailed, sometimes it becomes a bit harsh to follow. Great video nonetheless!
I honestly believe that a lot of my problem with my bass drum speed is that I don’t have my pedal adjusted correctly! Then when I start adjusting it I make it worse!! I have a few decent pedals. I’ve played drums at conventions and other places where the pedals are so perfect that I want to sneak the pedal out with me!! Lol. I don’t want to go to jail though!! Any tips from anyone??
justin bellanger That’s what I’m saying too, man. I’ve been playing for a Church for 9 years and never heard of these fills. It’s all about taking initiative and getting out of your comfort zone. I’m sure the Lord will forgive me for listening to Slayer and A7X lol.
Great wood shedding video. Thanks
Well, this is the most useful and amazing thing anybody ever has taught on youtube! I'm so much impressed and gonna use this by myself!
Eyes: that's easy.
Brain: I think I get it now.
Hands: * twitching *

Young Stallone in his drumming years. Thank you for this rare video.
I love that face the host pulls all the time every time rich plays something amazing.
I dont always stay for videos but when it has rich Redmond I do.
Mann I watch tutorial drumming videos all the time but this one by far has some of the most simple and yet effective fills!!
Steve Stifler is totally in love with this drummer. j/k. great tools to keep in your bag here...

Rich is an awesome drummer. Thanks for posting this video
Rich is a very convincing drummer and a Great live performer! Thanks.
This guy finishing his sentences in drum beats. What a lad

You are doing a great job one of the best tutorial videos that ever see thanks so much well explain it and with the chart God bless you brother!

Simple and effective classic rock (mostly) stuff. Like it.
Well done! Thanks for sharing the wisdom.
Really clean. Thanks
Snare sounds perfect.
Thanks A Lot For Bringing Us This Type Of Content
This is so helpful... thanks Rich ♡
Rich is the man!
god damn Rich is killller!
Great stuff, nice snare sound 👍
Oof... Those sabians sound great. Nice punch without annoying bright overtones. Artisan crashes are legend.
It drives me nuts everytime the host grabs the crash even after the drummer mutes it. Keep your fingers prints off my Cymbals..haha. Your little brother wants his shirt back...😁
He does it to make it easier for the engineer's and for us so we can hear them talk....
@@caleboakes1943 No shit.. 🤔 the Drummer already mutes it before hand..

Great sir
Wow expert stuff love it bro
Very nice!
These two guys are high.
I've never met a sober drummer
and to think back when i played like this in 1970 thanks for the memory, alot i forgot.
That kit sounds Killer😎👍👍👍
Great lesson… The guy beside Rich I don’t know his name but he was obsessed with grabbing riches cymbal 🤣
If he starts grabbing his stick I'm outta here... 😆
crazy left hand
Great lesson and rock patterns. Question, Why is the host eye banging this drummer?
I noticed that too! Every lick made him fall for him harder! 😂
this guy is legit
He’s the drummer for Jason Aldean
Really beneficial lesson♥♥♥♥♥
5:29 oh yeah! I am definitely going to work on that. Love it! :)

Why is the host always wearing his girlfriend's shirts?
He’s probably gay or just into that kind of fashion
It's not shirts it's t shirts😅
@@eageeofficial857 jesus what's the difference? It's like differentiating sausages and hotdogs
So that he looks bigger in comparison
Would Love To have The pdf for This lesson. Anyone?
That's the reason why death metal drumming that blast beats are the best
The shirt gets smaller the more you look
😂😂😂
Muscle growth exponentially
cannot find the pdf
Could you mention what the cymbal lineup is?
Can some one describe the fill here 2:35
The reverse is cool. Aldean’s songs don’t call for much technique, so he fits the bill.

gotta be reeeeaaaaally clean on those!
Matt Sorum chops ;)
not the pdf we're looking for...

“Right about that tempo, i go to the double...” *swipes left*
Lol everyone is so focused on the host. I'm just here for the drumming.
niceeeeee
the drummer very similiar to 90's mike mangini
What's the hosts name?
1:05
after listening to this i realize i know nothing and should sell my kit
didn’t know Sylvester Stallone played drums 🤷🏻♂️
HE LOOKS LIKE RAMBO
Is it normal that I never learned any fill in 8 years of drumming ?
