    Summary for FASTIANS assignment:
- why our neighbors are performing better? They have had political stability unlike us.
-Is the Indian threat real? Yes to some extent but the way we dealt with it led to negative consequences (speration of Bangladesh )
-why did we go to afghan war? Strategic move by alligning with US although at the cost of negative impacts on society and culture.
-Pakistan religious or secular? Initially India and Pakistan were both secular. Later on Pakistani leaders focused on making religious state. Implementation of religion however led to many problems due to Pakistan's vast diversity. In 1973 Pakistan was made a communal state.
-Is civilian government a colonial legacy? Problems with civillian government now is no politician has ever had the wisdom to understand the purpose behind elections . Whoever loses doesn't accept defeat and says dhaandli hui hai, whoever wins says it is fair . People abuse power to stay in power. Chaos
-Liaqat Ali's nationalization of the military ->Origin of political interference in army- promoted very low level officers to high ranks based on the politicians' likes and dislikes in 1951. Disturbed norms that destabilized entire system forever.
- is real estate a reason for Pakistan's economic downfall? Real estate buisness is very common but not regulated and properly taxed. If done so, a great amount of revenue can be generated since much money is in this sector.
- are we heading towards constitutional crisis? yes civilian leaders are dheet and do harkatein to protect their own power and interests. They are leading to constitutional crisis due to lack of political wisdom. According to them judiciary is good when it rules in their favour and is evil when rules against them. Bankrupt political class.
-Why does the popular rhetoric appeal to the masses?idk random cheezein boli hain idher unrelated khud dekh lena
- is our intelligence getting weak? Taliban are resurging and targeting hard targets(police, military) this is something the state needs to take seriously because it sends a strong message(unrelated to the question I know Lekin itna hee bola hai)
- Khalistsn sentiment - indians will give a ferocious response if an attempt to make the Khalistsn state is made(pata nai Kya hai yaar ye)
