LOVE that the owner has agreed to allow you to film your UA-cam videos on the boat! This is such a lovely day!!
Awe Yeah, Baby! He’s back in the saddle again… We’ve missed this type of content from you for a while now. Looking forward to your travels. Hopefully, the owner’s will warm up to your camera’s and we can get to know them too in the future.
Our equipment manager in high school football in the late 90's used to blast that song (Back in the Saddle) in the locker room before every game, followed by Johnny Cash. Weirdest pregame playlist ever. We went undefeated 2yrs in a row. Thanks for the blast from the past!
Honestly, I didn't realize I was missing the calm, quiet, early morning don't-disturb-the-guests yacht commentary until it came back. YLSNED
I absolutely LOVE that you're back. The tours were great, but the operational videos just can not be beat! Great stuff. Thanks for giving me a taste of things I'll never see in person.
I totally agree!
It's really great to see you back in the saddle again.
Fascinating insight. Love this channel. Not JUST a boat tour, but much much more.
I can’t say how good it is to have this content back on your channel! Missed it!
Good educational and also entertaining! Keep it up :)
Ah the dulcet tones of Captain Tristan early morning vlog. Welcome back Tristan.
Love these videos Tristan. Hopefully the crew will get comfortable being on camera so we can see all the systems in operation on your new boat.
Old school super yacht captain ❤
"experienced" Captain... love watching Tristan steer the boat into port.
@@snoopstp4189 same difference :)
Great to have the videos back....could watch this stuff all day!
So very nice to have these videos back Sir.
Love watching the docking videos, it always amazes me getting those yachts into tight spaces especially with a sidewind.
Back to what you do best Captain! Very pleased for you and your new command
Awesome shots!!!
Thank you for sharing
Great videos again!! Can you comment more on the 2 factors on slow yachting season in 2024..?
Loving this type of content again, looking forward to more.
Awesome video! This is what I missed over the past two years. Impressing how you coordinate filming with head-GoPro and tripod-GoPro plus drone and captaining. Great, great, great!
That boat is just stunning! And of course SuperYachtCaptain's skills are impeccable!
I enjoy watching this channel so much. If I could have my time again, I'd certainly look into working on a yacht, I'm sure someone would like to employ a scuba instructor that also holds some RYA certs'. Great work!
Loved the format of this video. Loved going on the adventure with you. Grateful for the team that allowed themselves to show up in video. Really adds to the content seeing y’all operating as a team.
Thanks for taking me along! ⚜️ I loved every moment.
I love your docking videos, missed them! 👍
Stowaway search in the pre-departure checklist is something I never thought of but clearly is important!
Really cool to see the operations and how you get it all started.
Great to see some ship handling videos again Tristan.
🦘🇦🇺 Thanks so much Tristan for waking us up so early 😁 for such a beautiful day. Thanks for the lift down the coast & all your remarkable teaching. 🛟🙏
Our pleasure!
I really enjoyed the content of this one. Nice to have you back with this type of production.
I missed this content. This is your speciality. So informative. Great captaining 😊
Love it
More of those pre-departure/arrival checks and casting off/going alongside videos
Keep them coming please.
Yessss!!! I have been craving "old school" SYC videos like this! Congrats again on the Command, looks like an incredible ship!
Great to see you back behind the tiller
Glad you are back Captain!🎉❤ would you be so kind to share your pre departure checklist template with us? 😊
I Love these videos, it give me the way to do these things with a 45ft vessel. Thanks !
That was cool!!! Love check lists.. that'a a lot of work load.... and no IPS :)
I love watching you command this ship! It is great to see all that goes into a departure briefing and what it takes to dock. Awesome series! Thanks for posting these videos!
Outstanding video and videography. Professional seamanship is on point. Great to see you back in Command.
Great episode! Thanks for sharing! Fair seas for all on board! Enjoy the cruise! 👍👍
So Wise , Thank You . I agree good to see you back in action. Thank You for showing such beautiful scenery
Great to see you back on a yacht. Keep the videos coming… missed this type of content since you left AWOL …
I watched your recent live stream and totally understand why you took this route with your career, it’s not about how flashy the yacht is ,it’s about quality of life at work I worked as a captain for nearly 40 years some good owners some right nightmares good luck with the future 👍👍👍
💯
I really enjoyed this video. Great to see the actual checklist and operations while moving out of dock. Better luck fishing next time 🙂
Great to have you back, how about introducing the rest of the crew sometime please?
Very informative! You and your crew are a well oiled machine. Kudos.
Really excellent … looks like a great place to cruise.
I found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching your videos. I absolutely love your videos. Keep up the great work!
Awesome, welcome 😎
Excellent video! Thank you for posting.
Your video are entertaining and very informative! As a land locked Kansasn Im able to see the boating world! Great stuff!
This is the content we missed!
Thanks for making life normal again.
Awesome video, nice to see these types of videos with you, especially the beautiful locations your giving us all the privilege to see wow, just a question why are the ports so empty especially this time of the season? have great day keep up with the great work, looking forward to the your next video
Great video! Really enjoying these!
Fantastic to see you presenting this content again! Look forward to future videos!
Very fun content with the boat’s idiosyncrasies and small crew!
Fascinating! Thank you!
Great to have you back. Great video as always. Have a great weekend.
One of the main reasons why I believe having a decent size yacht is better, is that you can dock in most Marinas. The larger size yacht’s, facility permitting may have that opportunity but in most occasions, you’re at anchor.
Your video is Absolutely fun and informative
Thank you
From Cielo e Mar swinging on a buoy 1/3 mile off shore…
Loved the video! Very interesting and fun to watch.
I agree with your previous statements about the tender tiedowns. Those straps' ability to do their job under heavy seas or unexpected conditions such as a collision (God forbid) I very much believe they will fail.
Hi Tristan..great vlog , but you’ve got a Wireless mic issue…..you had loads of clicking at the start of the vlog, apart from that….what a wonderful place to open the bridge door to at 5.55am….very envious 😳👍🇮🇲😉💖
I'm imagining that being a captain again will help grow you brokerage business. All the best.
They say when you have a job you love it's not work anymore, I believe you are there!!
thanks really enjoyable video. nice places you were at it seems.looking forward to next video
Great video…..very informative for me. Txs
Fantastic views how to handle a big yacht. In your hands it looks like easy, as skipper of Azimut 43s I know by experience, how difficult it should be, mooring a superyacht!
Quite interesting. Thanks, Paul.
Me encanto este video. Saludos desde México.
Great Job Captan, You make it look way too easy!
Nice video , the place where I live.😊❤
The process is incredible! I can see how losing power using both systems can require additional management in tight places.
I always really enjoyed Ischia, particularly Laco Ameno.
Been a while since I’ve heard that, but always think of your advice. Slow is pro.
Very interesting. And beautiful images.
A boat with character.
Love your videos 👌
Great to see you back
Nice docking ! 👌
Love these Videos; and what a cool Boat!
✌️🤙
Love it 😍
Can tell you are in your happy place at the Helm.
Very nice video. Amazed how empty the marina is. Well done even in a fair breeze. Do some yachts have cameras at the stern for the captain to see how close the stern is to the wharf? Does the anchor always grab when you want it to?
Loved it always like to see you in action lol Thank You
Good stuff Skipper. Interesting you should note that the season in Ischia is slow. I run a small restaurant in France after many years on superyachts and its the same here. 2024 is not busy , yet!! Should be busy June (no) July to October, we shall see but not much yet and like the ports on capri, Ischia etc they have a shorter and shorter window to make enough to see them through a very long low season.
☘️🇺🇸. Great video.
Nice video 👌
Ok Scotty, give me one quarter impulse.
Enjoyed the video a lot and had to even subscibe the channel👍
About the hydraulic system, I am definetly not an expert by any means, but I think that you need a load sensing system which contains a variable displacement pump. That kind of systems have been used for like ages in at least in forestry machines here in Finland 🙂
And propably in any heavy equipment aroud the world too 🤫
Nice video and nice maneuvering 😊
Thank you super cool
Loving the consistent uploads! What would you recommend to alleviate the hydraulics issue?
Always interesting!
Nice one .... true professional 👌
I know you probably don’t have the manpower to pilot a drone during docking and leaving the dock but it would really be a nice addition.
glad to see your back at it buddy. how's Giv. is she still on a yacht
back in action
Who developed the pre departure checklist? Was it part of the boats gear or did you do it once you assumed command? Thanks.
Great question, all explained in this video: My New Command!!!
ua-cam.com/video/EMYqYh_DYDg/v-deo.html
@@SuperYachtCaptain ahh from you friend! I missed that the first time I watched it.
Thank you love your vid’s
Cracking video. Was just wondering do you have a second in command
Love the vid as always!
Can you possibly do a video where you explain the style of docking in the Med and how it works. Being a boater in the USA we have no such thing as stern to docking with ground lines. Are this just laying on the bottom and you need to fish them out or how does that work??
