This game brings me a lot of melancholy. The year I played my aunt died of cancer and my long-term relationship ended. This song brings back sad memories for me. It was also Kojima's last MGS game.
Without being the absolute master that Jack was, Venom had something that made him unique, his humility, he wasn't cold blooded as Jack, his soldiers were also his family and the nuke dismantlement mission were thing that made him a more human Big Boss. Even if he didn't really know Joy, he was the image of what she wanted Jack to be in certain way, a man who seek a unification in the world without commiting the same mistakes of the old philosophers. It's sad how everything happened till 2014, with the death of Jack and the final breath of the Patriots system. They're not, i got the knife teeth scene and i'm not sure about the handcuffed quiet one but the only deleted scene that's ever been released is mission 51, kingdom of the flies
Three months late to answer your question but they are not deleted scenes.. The knife is the one thay quiet tries to kill because of the vocal virus that infected him and she tried to save mother base.. The other one is before quiet leaves forever, she's captured and almost drowned and raped but she gets up and kills them all. Just a bit late for a explanation but ya

Some things to point out here, it’s not the first metal gear and it wasn’t capable of launching nukes, it was more of a front line metal gear hence all the small arms weaponry. Emerrich said it was basically a marketing tool for Skull Face to use to scare the world so everyone would arm themselves with nukes. Shagohod was the first Metal Gear and was capable of launching nukes. But I get what you’re saying, Sahelanthropus was the first “walking” style Metal Gear which looks intimidating.
